Shma: [s]keep deluding your self shomoro. I can't refute that makerere is one of the best university in Africa but Uon is ranked ahead of it in recent years. No Naijeria uni come close to that makerere. SUMMARY University of Nairobi (UoN) is the best institution for Higher Learning in East Africa according to the latest Webometrics ranking of world universities.
UoN was ranked number nine in Africa defeating Makerere University which was ranked eleven. Then the top university in Naijeria followed at position twelve. Swallow that shomo. [/s]
Once gain slap that person that made you feel great being a Kenyan..see dude the methodology used by webometrics is simply based on web presence and nothing more..if Uon is more active on the web compared to UI. Then yes it would be ranked better.A more suitable ranking will be those that measures based on knowledge transfer, research, achievement and so on ..... webometrics is highly unacceptable, even if you are not aware from the name "WEBOMETRICS" you can decipher the methodology used
Kazikazi: Are you from Botswana this time? But anyway.I said and I repeat, we have new generation of cashew seeds which are drought resistant. You can use those in semi arid climates like Kenya's weather. Besides that, Kenya has a bigger arable land than Israel but yet the Kenyans starve. Have u asked yourself why? Kenya lacks modern technologies in her agriculture! Their irrigation system is still not in par with demand. The waters of Victoria lake haven't been utilized! Also they lack enough researches in agriculture sector
Hahahaha you've noticed is seasonal foolishness...
TayserMahri: You are always sneaking into Trudy's videos I guess you cant get enough of her. Should be the 10th time you are posting her videos now. Dont you have one of those manly naija babes to watch videos for?
Hahahaha tell me what is the purpose of YouTube videos, is it not to like ,share and subscribe plus I wanted you to learn from your fellow Kenyan and also I pay attention to people that can teach me alot about nairoslum.Thats my ultimate weapon
TayserMahri: Lets not make this about Genevieve. Unless you want to tell me where she got such a gothic name. Shes good in acting in her own right (though I have never even seen her acting). I was trying to show why Lupita is more worthwhile to the movie than the entire top cream of Nigerian female acting industry.
What you are doing is comparism btw Hollywood and Nollywood... obviously it is only Lupita that is representing Kenya in Hollywood. We have infiltrated Hollywood industry like we own it
Shma: keep deluding boy. It doesn't matter when I joined the forum, you can be shocked was here before you!. But anyway that is a non issue, as I told you earlier, I don't just pop in with rumour now show me that source that ranks Uon behind any Naijeria university.
Just shut up and stop disgracing yourself, next time conduct your research properly and stop relying on empty blog..I too can open a blog today and do a ranking that would attract clickers so I can make money......now go hail university of makekere in Uganda (you know your king over there)
TayserMahri: Idu station looks ok but Rigasa is . Looks like Kubwa station
Thats all you could get from that Kenyan YouTuber .anyway now you know we have an sgr and we would be expecting two more hopefully before this runs out(lagos-ibadan , lagos-abeokuta)
vaxx: Then by Qs standard . only south africa and Egypt are deem fit to represent africa.
Exactly what I am saying. The world has moved on, hello this is 2019 and so many things have changed.some countries have took note of that and looked for a way to turn things around while some just stared and watched themselves go down that list
vaxx: what are you saying chatter? no Nigeria university ever feature in Qs ranking of 2016. in fact no western African uni except Legon. UI has always remain behind legon for more than a decade.
vaxx: what are you saying chatter? no Nigeria university ever feature in Qs ranking of 2016. in fact no western African uni except Legon. UI has always remain behind legon for more than a decade.
Shma: Only Egypt and south Africa can argue with me on this. The rest just shurrup . Okay. @shamorobo show me that legitimate source that you are yapping yapping about and stop your tantrum throwing.
I don't know you wake you up one faithfully morning and told you Kenya is special or told you to arise and be a proud kenyan . This is just for unis the one I posted earlier was talking g about best college Hospital in Africa a d of course Kenyan unis was missing in action.see dude in East Africa your University of makekere is the best your uon just plays second fiddle
SUFFERInSMILIIN: Nigeria Universities are overrated. Just like Nigerian GDP. please why do Nigeria spend more money on education in Ghana that the entire Nigerian educational budget. Why do Nigerians spend more money on education in South Africa and Egypt that the entire Nigerian educational budget. You can see the Education is flawed just like the GDP. We know in Nigeria any idiot can become a professor please how can you have a good universities when you don't even have a educational system. See the way Nigerians are killing themselves and protesting in other African countries that they want to enter their universities when they cannot protest in their own country for their own universities.
Please how can you have good universities when your president does not have a certificate and two of your governors do not have certificates who are you trying to fool
Another idiot on the loose.if it were to be bad news then yes it is right but now that is shiws how useless your newly adapted country university is you are crying..mumu they are more than five globally recognise Rankers that has spoken highly if our unis the least the idiot could do was provide another blog and repudiate a whole "THE HIGHER EDUCATION"

Are you blind ,didn't you see were it is written there "African ranking".. African ranking is an African blog.since when those the world leave ranking duties to Africa? Since when does the world accept such things from Africa .haven't you wondered why none of your brother's is backing you up in this?. It is because we been down this road..nobody argues this... Your uni can never, ever be ranked among top 35 best in Africa let alone top 10...I get it you are new here
jln115: You literally have no idea how UN deployment works yet you want to debate with me..... It's sad to be honest.
Anyway let me explain again how UN deployment works:
The UN has several peace keeping missions around Africa which individual nations who are part of the UN participate in. The UN does not buy, use or import any vehicles from any nation, the participating Nation supplies its own vehicles and then gets reimbursed for its participation in those missions.
Those vehicles you are talking about are OWNED by Nigeria(and other export customers ) and are USED by Nigeria..... They are not used by the UN, they have not been bought by the UN, they have not been given to the UN and have certainly not been exported to the UN. They are used, owned and operated by Nigeria.
Do you understand now?
Yeah we go again. After taking the pain to lecture you yet again you've failed to grab...by the way was it not you that said our armoured vehicles has never been exported to any african country except Chad, but since you've been busted you decided to sweep that under the carpet and never talk about it.....just tell what should I do to make you learn, seriously I want to help you

Nigeria has done it again..This is definitely the best in the entire continent outside South Africa and Egypt
Prof Olubunmi Olapade-Olaopa, the Provost of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, says the 71-year-old medical college has clinched the fourth position in Africa in the 2019 World University Ranking.
Olapade-Olaopa, who disclosed this on Thursday in Ibadan while speaking with newsmen at the end of the Innovative Research Fair of the college, said the institution is also the first in sub-Saharan Africa.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the three-day fair had the tagline: “Innovation for Development.” According to the provost, the premier Nigerian college fell behind Stellenbosch University in Cape Town, South Africa as well as Cairo and Mansoura Universities in Egypt. Olapade-Olaopa said that the College of Medicine had inched forward from its previously held eighth position in Africa.
“I am very proud and pleased as provost to be welcoming you to this important high research week.
“What better way to celebrate this than for us to receive the announcement yesterday, that the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, is the primus inter pares, in the area of medicine, in sub-Saharan Africa.
“Last year, we were eighth in Africa, falling behind Makerere University in Uganda, but yesterday we went from eighth to fourth in Africa, after Egypt and Johannesburg.
“I promised my constituency that we would no longer be looking at the tail light of Makarere before I left this office and yes Makarere is now looking at our tail lights, as we have overtaken Makarere, ” he said.
Olapade-Olaopa attributed the leap to innovative research. “Why is it important that this has happened today. I have absolutely no doubt that our research efforts, having been enhanced in the last couple of years, have been responsible for not only maintaining our position in Nigeria but topping Makarere.
“College of Medicine jumped ranks from eight to four in the ranking of medical schools in Africa because of the added impact of our researchers, our students and alumni who go out to demonstrate that we are actually a world standard medical school.
“Most of the things we do here are of international standard.
"Of course, we must not rest on our oars. We must stay consistent and continue to advance.
“We shall increase funding to one of our research partners by another N2 million next year,” he said.
Prof. Jesse Otegbayo, the Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, said that the success of the teaching hospital, as a leader in healthcare delivery was not unconnected with the many evidence-based kinds of research from the College of Medicine. Otegbayo, represented by the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, Dr Victor Akinmoladun, pledged his continued support and commitment toward cutting-edge and innovative research.
“The mantra for this administration which is ‘ shared vision for excellence and innovations on research, will play a very critical role in attaining this vision, ” he said. In his presentation, the guest speaker, Prof Martins Emeje, said that research forms the bedrock of development for any nation.
Emeje, who is the Head, Technology Innovation and Support Centre, Abuja, called for increased funding of research. He added that the country’s academia must wake up to its responsibility and proffer precise and indigenous solutions to the problem of underdevelopment in the country through innovative research.
TayserMahri: I said big in Hollywood. Genevieve might be big in Africa but she's a minnow in Hollywood. Nobody would even recognize her face there. Obviously she has raked in millions from all the juju movies she has acted over the decades.
Everything about you guys revolves around juju. It's her juju movie that caught the attention of global screening giants NETFLIX and paved way for African movies, she is both a Nollywood actress and a Hollywood actress. she is the first African to rock some of the world greatest movie festivals..plus is hot and beautiful , no offence I can't say the same for your young miss Masai mara
TayserMahri: pretty sure it hasnt. Bring a picture of it in February (verifiable) and lets compare with the ones I posted. Your lies is what they say could lure a snake out of its cave
Seriously tayer you want me to go scour through NL and provide February screenshot
TayserMahri: The description of the image below is "Kaduna train station in Kaduna, Nigeria, on Jan 29, 2018."
Passengers stood on the platform waiting to board a train from Nigeria's capital Abuja on Saturday only to be wowed when they were informed that the train service had been safely operating for 900 days.
Doesnt look new btw. If this is what you launched then we are operating on very different wavelengths. No wonder you have no reliable passenger figures
Honestly I do think know that such trains exist ,maybe those are the ones we inherited from our colonial master which has not been maintained..Anyway this is your MISS TRUDY IN OUR SGR(this is the one I meant)
TayserMahri: Name one Nigerian female actor bigger than Lupita in Hollywood.
Let's start by comparing wealth since you earlier said it's about money..I don't even want to go too far let me just give you Genevieve Nnaji. Lupita's. Networth is 8 million dollar while Genevieve's networth is estimated to be around $10millon ... Genevieve just recently featured in one of British top movies TIttled " FARMING"... .. Genevieve was the first Africa to have an original Africa movie bought by "NETFLIX" and now SA movies has joined the league because we open that window for the continent.. read the bottom part of that screenshot
jln115: Sammy in your source(which you actually got from me) it's says these vehicles have been deployed on UN missions
Do you understand what deployed means Because it certainly doesn't mean buy, bought, exported or acquired......
Also Proforce has never exported any vehicles to Southern Africa..... But you have already admitted to that mistake.
Pic related: SAAF Rooivalk helicopters...... That have never been exported to any country or the UN
Here we go again, you keep taking us back without showing any ounce of interest in your will to learn..instead of me repeat most of the things I have been saying let me just chip this in a little and see if you will grab this time around .... The word deploy can also mean "USE" and they can only use something if they were given, obviously UN is not in Nigeria so yes it was exported to them so they can use it..simple
Gawd pls I hope he grabs this time around... explaining to you over and over again can be really exhausting
TayserMahri: Hardly about honor. Its about the money. i.e which actor will attract the highest viewership and thus the best returns. Lupita alone would be more valuable to the company than the top 10 female Nigerian actors combined.
Do you know how many Nigerian actors that flooded Hollywood and dominated that industry with multyoscar and Emmy. Your beloved lion King has a Nigerian as one of the major actors..see dude we are everywhere
