But the appointment letter carries the date camp opened as date of appointment/recruitment. i.e the appointment letter carries the date camp opens as your first day as an officer.

Dont be giving false hope bros.. If u dont do documentation or DSS hasnt carried out background checks on u.. There's absolutely no way of u getting in except ur from the president or DSS boss directly.. Documentation carried every profile about you, down to ur neighbours and village.. No agency will recruit u without those basic knowledge talk less of the DSS.. Yes some instances happen where the have a back up list becos certain people will fail medicals or be found wanting at camp so state HQ will want to make sure the fill thier quoter.

A very serious and well respected senior security officer can recommend you.. But they will still work on u before any of such can happen.. Its no joke they even go to people's villages for information.. And about making it to camp without documentation also highly unlikely except ur like the president of Nigeria or director of DSS himself.. Regardless down the line during subsequent officers profiling u can still loose ur job if u ddnt go in the right way, the oga that put u there today and covered u will not be around foreva.. DSS will always investigate thier serving officers during promotions and upgrading and such.. I'll always advice do the ground work, let all that's left be small push.. So that even u can defend ursef anytime any day.

Documention means the act or an instance of furnishing or authenticating with documents, if Dss don't have your document how can they call you, and no Oga will help you without submitting your credentials to the appropriate unit

Another question when you receive the message for training are you going to transport yourself to Lagos with your own money, or will your state pay for the expenses of your transport to Lagos

There are guys that got it without knowing any oga at the top.Grace factor.{GRACE ENABLED}..Even if u no Director General & put your total trust in Him instead of God he may let u down& disapoint u. The present situation {high rate of unemployment } in the country caused alot of problems that led to nepotism & godfather

Abuja now has training school for cadets.. Its completed with d most modern facilities for training.. So dont be surprised if cadets report to abuja rather than Lagos..
