AgricultureRe: 6 weeks and 8 Weeks Old Local Turkeys Are For Sale in Ibadan by samshoz(m): 11:15am On Nov 14, 2015
I have questions to ask:
Q1. Why does the hen not know when stop brooding? Mine keeps returning back to her nest even after taking away hatched eggs and none left.
Q2: Why do poults not know how to start feeding after several days? I force feed mine, only the resilient ones survive.
AgricultureTips On Rearing/raising Local Turkey Needed by samshoz(op):
Let me start by asking following questions:

Q1. Why does the hen not know when to stop brooding? Mine keeps returning back to her nest even after taking away hatched eggs and none left.

Q2: Why do poults not know how to start feeding after several days it hatched? I force feed mine, only the resilient ones survive.
Q3: Why do hens occasionally take out some eggs with their beak from her nest? like using instinct to determine bad eggs.

Nice boy there. Do you have hens around it?
yes, its brooding already. I lost a hen 2 months ago while it was brooding, i still dnt know cause of death. I like that hen because it usually lays up to twelve eggs. But this layed abt 9. And i have been pondering wether or not to seperate hatched poult from hen, after reading your blogg, i decided am going to seperate them.

Thanks @ samshoz for the update, truly I'm located in Abeokuta and I'm currently in Ibadan.
You can determine a pregnant rabbit by
palpation by using your hands to feel the unborn kits.
by introducing the suspected pregnant female rabbit into a buck room as the process begins the rabbit continues to make out some sounds but although it is not 100% reliable unlike the palpation method.
Thanks.
Am still trying to achieve that palpation skill.

I went to my rabbitry this morning and I met my doe removing and gathering it furs and preparing for birth, today has been the 29th days of her mating though it's hectic mating her but with the advise of @samshoz and @dyoungforester I took it to other rabbitry to go mate it and it was success.
I think maybe it's my buck staying with the doe for long causes the false pregnancy for my doe.
Thank God anyway waiting anxiously for my new kits.
Congrats bro.
