YES the aunt can collect it although security men may want to question her .It is not on every occasion they call host to verify in fact on rare occasion this has nothing to do with visa approval or rejection

Don't get me wrong people are getting jobs but mostly in science oriented courses and per hap accounting and financial auditing .In the midst of Xenophobia violence my neighbour(Nigerian technician with trade test not even bsc got a good job in a big firm).You mean if he graduate with SA certificate in political science he will get job? That is FALSE. Where will he work?We have thousands of SA citizens in this field of Political science seeking for jobs and they will be employed before considering a foreigner .Having SA certificate doesn't guarantee jobs but rather what SKILLS you have and what can you contribute to their economy .Graduates of Pol sc in SA (foreigners) have 2percent chances in getting jobs,perhap he may do menial jobs to survive . if he is soft developer,IT expert,Medical personnel or technicians etc then I can assure of him of Jobs .

Be not deceived you can't get any reasonable job in SA with bsc Political science or Public admin,There are SA citizens unemployed with bsc in these field of study .You may be fortunate to get employed as Tutor/research assistant if you enroll for masters degree program .To be renting Flats and sublet to people is a good business if you have the capital but the risk is enormous for instance if they failed to pay you must pay with your money .You don't need Business Permit to do this kind of business but you MUST have temporary permit (study,critical skill or work permit etc).

Can you stay in a hotel for a wk? or find someone who will allow you to let you stay with them for at least a wk, so you can gather your thoughts. Just make up some type of lie to your husband as to why you are going away for a week. Don't say anything until you have gathered your thoughts.

I am with babyosis, I believe your husband has been sleeping with her since she was 14, it did not just happened. Which might explain why your sister is very promiscuous. God has a funny way of blessing and protecting us. Maybe this is the reason why you have not gotten pregnant. Hello guys,please your help is urgently needed.I have a valid SA visiting visa (3months) that will expire next week Monday,25th but I have not been able to travel due to my tight schedule. I plan to travel tomorrow or on Thursday and come back on Saturday or Sunday. Please I will like to know if I will not have any problems with immigration and also which of the days (Saturday or Sunday) will it be appropriate to come back to avoid unnecessary issues? You can leave SA on Sunday(24th) .Just be bold and smart because of Nigerian immigration officers who will like to milk you .At point of entry in SA if they ask why you traveling few days to visa expiration ,just tell the officer that you were busy in office or business(if you have idcard please hold it along with yellow fever card) .

Most times at POE study permit holders are not interrogated compare to visiting visa holder.He or she can hold proof of residence along side yellow fever card .Most times they don't ask for proof of residence

Nice write up ..well done bros.It is quite pathetic that only when you apply in Nigeria you find it extremely difficult to get Usa and Uk visa if you don't have large amount in your account and strong home ties .There is wide believe in most Embassies that most Nigerians won't return home .The case is different in other places .for instance Last year my friend(Nigerian) in SA apply for Usa visa he had 4krand only in his account he was granted visa within 3mins.

It depends on which permit/visa you are holding.For visiting visa hotel reservation,yellow fever and visa are checked .

There are scholarships for postgraduate students .Google should be your best friend now because no one here can give details of all the scholarships /grants of schools in SA. Check school website and above all school fees not high but the value of naira make the fee high to Nigerians

forget cab business you can't cope ,More importantly the business is for the locals .You can try restaurant,saloon ,Cafe or buying of cars and reselling business in SA.On a serious note getting job in SA is easier if you re science oriented,IT,Medical personnel or technician(refrigerator,AC and Laptop repairs) .For those coming for postgraduate studies there are many scholarships mostly designed for science students and most time students are employed as tutors or laboratory assistant. .

The south Africa govt is using all means to deport Nigerians here, lot of raiding been going on for the past 2weeks and at first i was thinking its those Nigerians who got no document of living in south Africa till i was in Pretoria on Thursday when i saw home affair deporting Nigerians who came for the renew of their asylum, they deported 12boys 2 girls, while some managed to escape from inside the building of marabastad, same also i saw the immigration bringing in their black maria into the premises of home affair as at 4:05pm...many Nigerians left while some got their paper renew....and there was raiding this morning at hill-brow,i cant saw how many Nigerians where caught but 107 where caught in kempton park of Thursday too

In Durban Nigerian based"POINT" was raided and some houses in CBD were raided, arrested and deported within 3days .The best temporary permit remains Study permit because u can handle the processing by yourself.

Yes, jobs are few. but many people are just coming hoping they would make it. The lifestyle, the big malls as mugabe refered to it, its attracting in the eyes, but currently, jobs are hard to come by. unless you can work in the restuarant earning R2000 and tips on top, those jobs are mostly dominated by Zimbabweans.

Life is much easier and simpler, everything is by your door step, you walk to the nearest mall, cheap electricity, free clean water, free medical, social grants, if you are over 60yrs or crippled you get $150 grant every month, free house. if you have kids who are younger than 18yrs and you dont work, you can apply a grant for those kids. So people are attracted by all these.
