Good evening everyone.
Congrats to everyone who made it. I just got a mail from DAAD this evening that I wasn't shortlisted.

I have decided to learn deeply from this. I believe I qualified for the shortlist at least. I finished with a strong 2:1, and I have old school mates who aren't as brilliant as I am but who have enjoyed/are enjoying one scholarship or the other.

I therefore plead with any of the successful applicants to assist in drafting a statement of purpose(I have always had issues with this) and maybe explain one or two more things to me.
I would really appreciate this as I believe it would go a long way in the future.

But PTDF stated it clear that "register"with the German Academic Exchange. I didn't see "apply". Anyway, as it is now I refuse to be confused.

I guess it's late to start applying now if truly we're to apply coz i just saw that application closes by next tomorrow.

I leave the rest to God.

The funny thing is that I didn't know I needed to register. Now I have registered and activated my account, but I just cannot find my way through the site. Please do you mind guiding me through the "registration" process? Or is that all the "registration" requires of me?

Evening guys. So I made Germany my second choice country but never really knew that the DAAD thing was kind of compulsory. I just got the info ftom a friend this evening.
It's late now but is there a way I can remove the German choice completely?

Hi all. Please I would like to seek clarification. Is it possible to read all by one's self for this CFA without attending tutorials and still pass? I should write Level 1 in December and I was at a tutorial centre recently. They have already had four days of lectures and I am thinking it would be difficult to catch up.
I am thinking of just bying the books and reading on my own rather than pay money for the tutorials and still not catching up(the money is not easy to come by). Please I need opinions here.
