If you are sure you have the O'level requirement for University education, pls do not go for ND PT. I will advise you to take jamb again or search for a University with Diploma Programme and apply. With a Diploma from the University u can easily gain admission to 200level. I'm telling u this because of my experience, i also did ND PT in Ibadan poly and it took me 4yr before i could collect my result, though i'm in HND1 now. Please i will advise u to either go for Pre-degree or Diploma in a University to save yourself some time wastage.

Awe fisayo: House Pls Did LAUTECH, AAUA DE Require 4 Transcript B4 Admission Or Write Exam. Or Sell Any Tin Like Green Card.

AAUA does not require transcript or green card, all you have to do is to purchase the sch. PUTME form when it's available and prepare well for CB-test just to have a good score. The sch doesn't discriminate indegen or non-indegen, 1st or 2nd choice bcs admsn is 90% base on merit.

Muktar05: If u pass through poly, u might be aware of National Diploma and a Diploma which is obtaine through part-time. What i mean is that, i have Diploma certificate (CGPA 2.99SLT) with me not the National Diploma. Can i apply with that?

I don't know of any diff. Btw Diploma or National Diploma. But for DE u must hav diploma. So my brother u can give it a trial.

Muktar05: I just finnished DIPLOMA 2 in Science Laboratory Technology and gained admission into ND2 Special starting lectures tomorrow (Monday). Pls can I apply for D.E with my former certificate? My statement/certificate is intact.

Are you intending to apply with First Degree or what? If it is First Degree, Second Class Lower Division, you are good to go !

Just make sure dat u av good first degree cert from college/faculty of medicine with powerful O'level result. UI does nt conduct PUTME for its DE candidates.

U should specify if it is weac may/june or Nov/Dec..... If it is May/June and above some No of years like 5yrs, U can only collect that from d sch u wrote d exam but, if it is waec Nov/Dec, U can get that from Waec Office.

Massif: Pls NB HOW MANY RESULT THAT THE SCH GIVE, WE ONLY NOW ONE. BEST SCH GIVE ONE TRANSCRIPT NOT TWO OREGINAL, BUT ONE AS RESULT IS ONE. REMEMBER 2 SCH IS TO BE CHOOSE AND ONE TRANSCRIPT IS GIVEN TO YOU PLS WHAT TO DO.

Some sch give 2 even 3 transcript it is just dat d payment for them will be different. For example, if one transcript is 1500, two may be 2500 for two and 3 may be 3500 for 3. I'm telling u dis bcs dat is how they do it in my sch Ibadan Poly.

No u don't need to sit for JAMB, all u need to do is to obtain HND Full-time form whenever it is available for sale from the school u're interested in, if u meet their HND requirements and follow the procedure for filling the form. That is all.

Since u knew dat d possibilty of getting admsn into 200 level is very slim; why not obtain jamb form and get prepared by taking lessons?. Broda i will not encourage you to go for D.E unless d sch u are applying to is in dire need of students. Even they are not many that accept lower credit and u're here talking of PASS.

I saw your mail and to your question it is very, very possible to gain admsn for HND without I.T. It's only a letter typed and printed with a letter-headed paper that you will need. That is, if you have somebody working in an establishment, he can provide you with one. I never went for I.T but i provided the letter during my Oral interview. Very simple no one will take the pressure of making enquiries about all candidate that applied if truely the did I.T in that organization.

Zico0... Are u planning of applying for HND or D.E? If it's for HND, i do not think u need transcript but only notification of result, i say this bcs i did not make use of that when i was applying for HND @ibadan poly. But, if it's for D.E, i think u may need it bcs most university will require it.

The transcript is a comprehensive detail of all your academic performance, stating your grade in each course you registered and passed, starting from your first semester to the last semester you graduated. You must bear it in mind that the school you are applying to will base their own assessment of your academic performance from your previous school on it. The transcript will only be release to the third party only when it is been officially requested for because it is very confidential. Remember that your statement of result will only state the grade with which you graduated. e.g pass, lower, upper or distinction as the case maybe.
Hope this simple analysis is comprehensive.

People have deserted this thread, almost all have been admitted and are now busy with registratn and lecture. Pls let's share and exchange experience on d requirements for registratn so that pple like me who have never start any will know what to bring along.

My subject combination was eng, govt, econs, litt-in-eng and i applied for law and pol.sc, scored 212 in UTME and 54% in PUTME aggr. was 53.5 choose d sch 1&2 non-indegen.
