@Qualcoms, i must confess that the way you analyses, interpretes and explain every question on this thread 'impresses' me and i really commend your effort. My prayer is that you won't be an aspirant come next session. I also wish other aspirants success. You guys are just too wonderful and i believe your intellectual development will manifest in your academic performance when eventually admitted. Oftentime, i use to wonder why people with good brain don't usually gain admission to our higher institutions especially the university and dullards do, the only reasonable answer i could give myself is 'DESTINY' Bro, me wish y'all goodluck and God's benison with y'all. 2 Likes |

It baffles me seeing people exhibiting themselves as masters of irrelevances. I do not know what you guys want to achieve with this. The school you attended is never a factor of who you are. U can be a polytechnic student and still be better than a uni student, knowing this that polytechnic is never your first choice, i see no reason u should end there. The fact that you refuse to have a B.Sc certificate is a matter of choice and i think you should be prepared and responsible for you choice if u ever face any discrimination. I still use to tell people, instead of going to the polytechnic if jamb refuses you admission, why not go for one year pre-degree programme, that will make it easier for you to gain admission if you are the serious type. Actually, your question amuses me. OND, medicine? You must be kidding! You can not apply for MBBS with OND, infact no university will look at your application. It is either you apply with first degree and when i say first degree it means you are a university graduate from college of medicine like phamarcy. Biochemistry and the like with @least second class upper (2.1) OR you start afresh from 100 level through jamb. I hope this will help you a little bit. |

Ancecoker: It has become the habit of most Nigerian Federal Universities as they don't tend to abide to the rules made by the Federal Government especially on JAMB UTME cut off and all they are concerned about is Salaries Increment and long term Strikes?You can as well say there should be no UTME again. Of a total score of 400 and the number of weeks for preparation you can not score half of the total score i don't see any reason you should go to the university. The federal government is bringing down the standard of education in this country. All you lazy students know is surfing the internet 24/7 and when you fail your exam you will want the government to reduce the cut-off mark for you. |

I think that is the experience on which i based my conclusion. Do not think i desire pessimism... I love to encourage people but i think i'm wrong on this. |

See do not be deceive by d info that if you do not choose aaua as either first or second choice you can apply, u will only waste your money because your receipt no and confirmation no will not be recognised. Your jamb detail will only be sent to the sch you filled in jamb. |

alarm4: on 15/07/2013 but could not log on to proceed the Admission:on the university portal: AAUAI'm very sorry to hear this from you. AAUA is an institution own by the Ondo state govt. It will not admit those that do not choose it in UTME or DE. You should have make enquiry b4 buying the form. You must know that JAMB will only send the data of candidates that choosed the sch to the admsn office. Perhaps your detail is not on the sch central admsn system. |

mathefaro: it depends on the school o, in some schools, it's a strong distinction. 3.79/4Yes for polytechnics that use 4 grade scale. In ibadan poly,they use 5 grade scale and distinction starts from 4.50-5.00 |

Hello peepz, i hope this year is your admission year. Read and visualize your score. Follow the law of attraction. Attract to yourself, the score you want, visualize yourself as an admitted candidate, never indulge or feed your subconcious mind with negative thinking, remember that likes begget likes. Le'me share with you mine own story. When i went for my school PUTME last year, i visualise myself as an admitted student without even knowing my exam score, i did not just visualise, i went ahead to buy the sch customized hand-band just for me to concentrate on my art visualization thereby attracting my admission. You know what? It worked, applied for two different courses and i was offered one of the courses. 1 Like |

Stephen97: please i need someone to enligten me on this how someone will known the exact date he/she we write the exam because the details is not on the print out form, they said from 29july to 3rd of August 2013,pls i need someone who has done this last year to enlighten me on this thanks and god bless u.After your registration, on your print-out, it should be written to check back with your PIN for the date and time when you will sit for your exam. That was the way it was arranged last year. |

So diz post jamb nw fit turn 2 gobe coz na d7 b my ecnos .bt i gt commerce a1...mayb ill remove d crk 4 commerce.always be optimistic. You're not the one to choose the subjects to answer. It has been programmed on the computer. Just login, click the combination you wanna answer and it will load. I answered 55 questions in not more than 45min. |

5age: I went for pol sci last year!... In d post utme, dis are d two set of combinations i saw to chose frm on d system...5age has spoken well, those subjects are the combinations from which questions was set last year. But, i do not know about the issue of Maths. I did Eng, Econs, Govt, litt-in-Eng in last year jamb, scored 212 and 54% in PUTME. |

patience they say, is a great virtue. The sch will give u almost 3weeks or a month for your putme exam preparation. You can get the past questions by either buying it from the bookshop in the campus at the cost of 1000 or you wait for the putme to be available for sale which will be sold to you with the past questions booklet. Last year putme form and past question booklet was sold at the cost of 4700. The sch will notify u guys when it is available and where u can easily get it outside the sch campus. I got mine last year from the Post-office at secetariat in ibadan and was admitted for Political Science. Gud luck guys. |

Provided u will not deviate from ur purpose as a predite, that u will face ur study while on campus and pass ur exams, predegree is the surest way. This is bcs u have to chance for admsn that year, either by jamb, or by the predegree program. Why i am saying this is bcs many of the predite, once on campus they tend to relax forgetting that they are nt yet a bonafide student, failing woefuly in their sch exam and jambn at the end of the year if they aren't admitted, it is just a waste of time, money and energy. |

When i did my own last year, the questions were not familiar, just read wide. When you buy ur PUTME form, it will come with Past question booklet so that u can get acquinted with the way they ask questn. |

My brother, AAUA prdite form is usually 10,000+ and the sch fees is like 60,0000+ the form is usually available around Oct., Nov., Dec., please evaluate yourself and know ur ability before venturing to Predegree. |

lucifire: somebody from this school should help us......atleast tell us what to doGuys, just relax. For DE candidates, u don't have to send or submit any transcript. The sch. doesn't make use of that. All u have to do is to buy the PUTME form once it is available, fill it appropriately and make sure u study very well for Outstanding performance. The PUTME is never an easy task but with prior preparation u can prevent poor performance. U shld aim for 50 and above to stand a good chance with the Predites and the UTME candidates. U guys will be duely informed when the PUTME form is available. Just post any question and it will surely be answered. |
The Federal Govt of Nigeria broadcasts that 180 UTME score should be used but Federal Universities choose 200.. this is unfair..
