Nice write-up by the Op.
The Op is going to 60 years old. He is either a grandfather or about to. Those years he mentioned were a long time ago and I was already born then (early 70s). I saw and used most of those gadgets in Mushin, Lagos state.
We used black and white tv. I also played those games in the 70s - 80s in Mushin Police Barracks Olosan, Lagos state.
Those memories are the best forever. I wish I could turn back the hands of time to relive it.
Our presidents pulled Nigeria into a state of hopeleness because of their greed. Nigeria would've been rubbing shoulders with US and UK. However, our leaders with their low mentality and greed, decided to sink us deeper into the ocean until we cannot breathe anymore.
The days of Zik, Awolowo and Shagari were the best times, compared to the rest wolves in sheep's clothing.
They would all bite the dust someday |

Ojady: @Op: you cannot be less than 45 years of age. This is because all these were typical of a middle class home circa 1969 to 1994. If your living room was like this or had any of these, your family was not poor. If we press further, you'd probably say your folks had either a Peugeot, a Datsun, a Passat/Santana, Volkswagen Beetle, Benz 200 etc; that one if not both folks was employed and the other had a grocery shop; that you either went to FGC, Command or Missionary School etc Oh! how things have changed!!! Business › Re: How I Made My First ₦10,000 Online In Nigeria (beginner Method) by sandra2025(f): 8:32am On Apr 03 |
Asksky: I see a lot of people here asking how to make money online in Nigeria…
But the truth is - most beginners are doing the wrong things.
Most of what you see online is either:
• Too complicated • Requires money you don’t have • Or just not beginner-friendly
Not long ago, I was in that same position. Trying different things… jumping from one method to another… and getting nowhere.
Until I found a simple approach that actually made sense.
No experience needed. No special skills. Just something clear you can start immediately.
And that’s how I made my first ₦10,000 online.
Before you think it’s one “get rich quick” thing - it’s not.
It’s just a simple, practical starting point that works if you follow it properly.
Most people struggle because:
• They keep switching methods • They overthink everything • Or they never take action
What worked for me was sticking to ONE clear path and following it step-by-step.
If you’re just starting out and you don’t want to keep guessing what works…
I already broke everything down step-by-step so it’s easy to follow.
👉 Check my profile - start from there.
I didn’t overthink it… I just followed a simple path step-by-step.
This was the result 👇
If you have questions, drop them here. I’ll answer based on what I actually did 👍 Why not post everything here? Very soon, you would start asking for training fee from people through Whatsapp or Telegram. |

Career › Re: Which Profession Do You Respect The Most??? by sandra2025(f): 3:40pm On Mar 25 |
The one that should be respected the MOST are teachers, because they are nation builders. They teach and impart knowledge which leads to national development and better professionals emerge from their output. However, they are not well paid. The government should try to be paying them like N500k minimum. |
Career › Re: How Much Do You Need Monthly To Live Comfortably In Nigeria In 2026? by sandra2025(f): 3:33pm On Mar 25 |
Lifeless101: Currently earning 224k monthly Honestly, to save is a big problem. Like now, I have just N500 in my Opay and I left it there to recharge my NEPA
Nigeria is too rough.
I think, I will need 500k monthly to live comfortably. Earning that amount of money in Nigeria is not too bad. Just that things are son damn costly. Anyways, you are supposed to join a contributory group where u work to save something. People earning way little are even saving somehow. |
Romance › Re: Reasons Why Several Guys Do Not Want To Marry Single Mums by sandra2025(f): 8:28am On Mar 22 |
Single moms have a lot of problems because of their status. You must be extremely tough to be able to handle their dramas. How many men want such dramas? Nil.
What can be true is that single moms often face more challenges, and those challenges can sometimes affect behavior. For example:
1. High stress or fatigue – handling parenting, work, and finances alone can be exhausting 2. Limited time – less time for rest, social life, or close supervision 3. Financial pressure – can lead to tough decisions or strictness 4. Emotional strain – dealing with loneliness, past relationship issues, or responsibility overload
My best bet, avoid single moms at all cost. They may look sweet on the surface, but when the cracks start setting in, the earthquake would be too gigantic to patch up on the long run. |

You cannot lose what was never in your pocket. So, how much did you use to stake the game? That's the money you lost. Betting is not easy. |

Crime › Re: See How Police Treated Me When I Lost Money (photos) by sandra2025(f): 11:22am On Feb 18 |
safarifarms: Chai. Police indeed is NOT your friend.
After collecting all that from you, if it was actually something that they can really be of help, they'll still expect you to share the money recovered with them such that at the end they would have gotten more share of he recovery better than you.
In 2017 I had a messed up land purchase that saw me look at my 350k going down the drains. The land I paid for was in dispute and the village chief sided with the other contenders. The guys who sold the land showed me different replacement lands but I didn't like them (some didn't even have access). The agent who was so pained that the sellers didn't give him a cut from their end as originally agreed was pushing me to take the case to the police. I already know that land issue is mainly a civil matter and secondly I didn't even have that much time. But another concern was that even if I could recover the money, I'll likely loose half of it to the police for helping me recover it. I just forgot about the whole thing, but the Agent keep pestering them and threatening them. As God would have it, I was called year before last to come for settlement and that is how I received 500k for the 350k I had paid. The 500k is not exactly worth the real value at the time but it was far better than nothing on money I'd completely written off. I was happy I didn't waste my time and money with the police. Did you later settled the agent who was fighting on your behalf? |
