If your school is outside London, main applicant is 9135 (1015*9) while dependants are 6120 (680*9) each.

Haywhy3233:
Thanks for your response , I learnt for main applicant is 9300 , so same fee for all dependents?

Thank you so much.

Chreze:
Check early hours and late hours. 5-6am and 12-1am. Especially weekdays. You get to see lots of slots during those hours.

Get one persons own to say Thursday, then start to work on other people’s own to meet that date. Using those early hours, you will achieve it. Also note that time of the slot doesn’t really matter, what matter is same day and you all will be attended to at same time using the earliest time slot of all.

Please, when booking appointments for the family, were you able to get the same day and same time? If no, please how were you all able to go for biometrics on the same day?

Chreze:
1. I didn’t write anything about their living expense being in my account because I believe if they are your dependent, then that covers that all. I only stated in my application they will be traveling with me and for every sentence in my letter of explanation, I used “We” instead of “i”. And yes I wrote a letter of explanation as, I didn’t like how my CAS stated the financial part (scholarship, deposit and balance). So just to be on the safe side, I did a better explanation to satisfy myself. And also passport change and all that.

2. I didn’t think it was reasonable or wise for me to put in school address as the place I would be staying as there was no way I would be living with a family in the school lodge. So I picked “no” and explained I had an arrangement, and will confirm the said arrangement after visa has been confirmed. I would have used school lodge if I were to travel alone, I was just honest with the whole visa application thing cos I realize it’s easier to explain and won’t contradict yourself if you tell it how you are planing it.

Hope this helps.

Please, will i need to transfer the funds to my Paga wallet?

DonTwice:
Upgrade to level 3 and use Paga by paying from your Paga wallet not Paga verve.

Please note the UKVI have announced that this amount will increase for applications made or on after 1st December 2020 to £1,023 per month, up to a maximum of 9 months (£9,207).

You guys should take note before 28 days elapsed, and fall just below
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by SandraDee: 7:46am On Nov 09, 2020
My understanding is that it's the application date and not the biometric date that is used in calculating the 28 days. So, if you submit tomorrow, then that's the cut-off date that will be used to assess your POF, meaning that your funds would have only spent 2 days. I totally understand the desire to beat the December rush but you have to wait for the 28 days before paying for your visa fees and IHS so that you don't get refused.

olafim309:
LagosismyHome, omopapa, justwise, Mimilyrics. Come to aid please. , my CAS is ready, my TB test is ready. Hubby just deposit my POF into my account this weekend. He want to pay for Visa fees and IHS tomorrow, so that and I can fill and submit and book appointment for biometric next month by then my 28days will be complete. He said by next month there will so much rush that I might not get appointment for a whole month. Please can we do this.

It's possible that it is because of the US leg and not the UK leg as some states in the US require a negative Covid-19 test result. Anyone who has travelled to the UK recently using BA should please let us know.

iphie1984:
Goodday all anyone using BA to London, a friend of mine is going to US on transit to UK, they requested for covid 19 result at the airport now. Ejjor mk u na hlp o, am travelling on sunday.

The guideline says "Do not collect your BRP if you’re self-isolating because of coronavirus (COVID-19). The Post Office will keep your BRP for 60 days. Collect it when you finish self-isolating"

https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/collect

Skycharges:
Good afternoon FAM... I am currently in the UK still observing the 14days isolation. Please what can I do in regards to my BRP which was stated on that paper that came with visa that it should be collected within 10days of my arrival. Please what should I do concerning this?
