1. The parents jointly wrote a consent letter to UKVI for each of the children.
2. The required funds for all 5 of us were in the same account so we submitted the same account for each applicant.

1. We all applied together so the only consent letter we submitted was for the children.

2. Documents that we submitted:
Main applicant: TB test, Account Statement, Accommodation reservation (not really necessary, just did it because we are travelling with young children), CAS (also not necessary as the CAS number is in your application form), visas and stamps (as they were not in the current passport), Biodata page
Spouse: Marriage certificate, Account Statement, TB test, Biodata page, visas and stamps
Children: Birth certificate, Consent letter, Account Statement, TB test, Biodata page

We didn't want stories so we probably over-submitted

According to the TLS website:
"If you know in advance that you will need to keep your passport during the application process, you can check whether the Added Value Service 'Keep My Passport When Applying' is available at the Visa Application Centre you are using."

"If you need your passport back urgently for any reason once your application has been submitted, you will need to withdraw (also known as cancel) your visa application. Your passport cannot be returned to you at the Visa Application Centre without UK approval."

Yes, you need to submit your passport. However, TLS (according to their website) has an added value service known as Keep My Passport where you pay GBP 58.65 / NGN 27,300.00 and you can keep your passport with you while you’re waiting for a visa decision. Note that you cannot combine this service with any priority service.

The best method is to call Paga customer service for your upgrade, I called them & complained and it was upgraded within 24hrs, Mail na forever e dey take.

What response are you getting from them?

I have since last week sent them severall emails but still the same response. I am currently on level 2. I have submitted docs for level 3 since last week still no upgrade.

Send a mail with your address verification documents to kyc_ng@paga.com and they will respond same day. They may ask for more information to upgrade you to Level 3 but based on my experience, they are quite responsive via email.

Yes I learnt that but I don’t have the link to check , the last I check was £1,015

Assuming school is outside of London and oanda rate of 510:

Tuition balance - 11500 - N5,865,000
Maintenance (Main) - 1015*9 = 9135 - N4,658,850
Maintenance (Dependants) - 680*3*9 = 18,360 - N9,363,600
Total - N19,887,450

You can update the above if the school is in London. You can also check the oanda rate and update accordingly.

I used GTBank but I had to transfer the funds to my Paga wallet like you would do to any other bank account. Just choose Paga as the beneficiary bank and use your Paga account number as the beneficiary's account number. Your registered account name with Paga should pop up.

If you did self-upload, take your passport, a photocopy of the biodata page of your passport, a printout of the document checklist, a printout of the appointment confirmation.

It says that the information on my cas contains all that I will be needing to apply for visa. I uploaded my Bsc certificate,passport n tb result.

I believe both options should work. I however funded my wallet because of a couple of people whose cards were debited after failed transactions and who were having issues getting the debit reversed. I didn't want that experience.

Mine took 2 business days to upgrade (I sent the required documents at about 4pm on a Friday and it was concluded 8am the next Tuesday). Their rate was about N380.5/$1

I paid the same IHS charge for myself and all my dependants. I tried calculating the IHS for your dependant. I got £940.00 when I put that the person was applying alone as a child dependant and put in your course dates This is probably the same amount you paid for your application.

When I put that the person was applying to join a student and used your course end date as the visa expiry date, I got £705.00. The difference is the 4 months that is automatically added to the course end date to determine your visa expiry date in the first scenario.
