When going for interview, all u have to do is conquer the situation by first interviewing the interviewer; ask him how he/she is doing, his night and also his /herame with a smile, by so doing u already broken the ice. Make the interview a form of discussion and also laugh and smile. Look the interviewer in his/her eyes.trill them with what you know about your fiance or fiancee And straight with the answers. Also you should be happy talking about the person you love and want to spend your life with. No shyness and no blabbing and mumbling. They are seriously ready to approve your visa. Thanks

Please my fiance has tried to print out a scanned copy of my 2X2 passport photograph I sent to his email. He was able to download it but couldn't print it out when he went to print at CVS & Walmart.
Please how did the beneficiary send their passport photograph to the petitioner(for those that have passed this stage) kindly assist urgently.
Also, is it at this stage we need to submit affidavit from family and friends stating they know us & we're intending to get married

It didnt work as well. Dont know what exactly the problem is

It is an affidavits (written statement)of friends, neighbors or any knowledgeable associates who knows about the case (Beneficiary and Petitioner) are trying to prove.

Mostly, it is required whenever the USCIS is trying to establish the two years meeting requirements.

Hello everyone, will it be possible to reschedule an interview appointment to an earlier date. I booked an appointment initially and got a date that's farther than my intended date of travel. But I just checked and saw that much earlier dates have opened up.

Sure you should be able to reschedule for an earlier date if you've seen the availability. The earlier the better provided all your requirement(medicals etc) are complete.

Good morning,so we got a mail for RFE yesterday and this is what they’re saying they need even tho we provided most of them.

1.photovopies of passport including biographical data pages and pages showing entry and exit stamps (we submitted this)

2.copies of travel documents eg boarding passes,hotel receipts.we didn’t submit the hotel receipts cos we were oblivious as at that time so we trashed them.

3.letters written to each other after your meetings referencing the specific date and place of your meetings

4.military orders or letters from commanding officers

5.affidavicts of friends,neighbors or other knowledgeable persons.(there’s a guideline for how that should be gotten too)

6.any evidence that will help to determine that you’ve met your beneficiary within two years

Now,we she came home last year,we didn’t have nobody to take our pictures so every picture we submitted were selfies we took ourselves but we had our traditional engagement this March and we sent a couple of evidences including receipts from vendors we employed and letters from both families of the intent to marry,she filed on the 15th or March and now they’re asking for evidence from the 15th of March 2017 to 15th March 2019,we only started dating last year and she came home 5 months after and we submitted every picture we took,so now is it Okay for us to submit the pictures we took after she came home again this year(March) even tho it’s out of the time range they’re asking for and is there anything else that should be done to make sure that we don’t get denied.this thing is pretty frustrating I have to be honest.ill be waiting for answers

i missed an interview,cos my training date clashed and I reschedule with same visa fee. all I did was write the embassy,inform them of the development and I got MRV re-activated then I did re-appointment.i have mail correspondence as evidence.

Ooh great. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. He'll follow suit and hopefully he gets a response asap.

He got to d embassy late and he was denied entry.

He tried emailing them to reschedule him to no avail

Isn't reschedule 24hrs prior to interview?


I still doubt if he can use that visa fee for another interview.
Where is d guy sef, he should come to tell us how it went jare

Thanks guys. He just sent a mail to the embassy and hopefully they'll respond and enable him use that same Visa fee to reschedule for the interview he missed.
All depends on the response he gets from them. Otherwise, he might have to pay another Visa fee

I don't understand your question. Are you concerned that they will find out you had sex with your fiance? They have no business on your sex life. Your sex life business is between you and God. You won't be denied because of being pregnant.

Or Is your question about the fate of your unborn child? You won't be denied visa if you are pregnant. They may however ask question on where you intend giving birth and they will need evidence to show that both you and your fiance is ready and able to pay fully for the delivery of your child in the United States. Provision of such evidence might be difficult but once it's done then you are good. If not, they will delay your visa till after your delivery and will also advise you do K2 for the child. Personally I will advice you wait till after delivery before you go for your medicals as you will have to do X-ray which is not safe for the baby.

Going by this, what happens if after my visit & upon arrival back to Niger I discover I'm pregnant. Will this affect me during the time for d K1 visa interview? Anyone with a similar experience or opinion should incase such happens

You should be looking at between 8-10 months for the process to be complete.

Not too sure if your B1/B2 Visa will be of much significance in the K-1 processing.

@sandraigho, I advice you go back home and commence the K1 Visa Process. Its the right thing to do. People have stayed behind in the States, got married and filed to adjust status and got their green card but it's a risk not worth taking.

My question is this, My fiancé is a US citizen(he won a lottery few yrs back & just got it a couple of weeks ago) and he wants me to come as a visitor and stay back, then after 90days, we go to the court over there and he starts the AOS for me. Pls i need your advice on the best route to go as the US frowns against this process(going by their recent trend).
Do you think this route will be fine as against just starting a fresh K1 Visa process & how long will that be?
