Maybe your step mum sister is your real mum

Godlovesyou28:
I type this with so much pain and sense of loss. I found out about two years ago that my step mum is not my real mum (everyone keeps wondering why am just waking up to the obvious).

I grew up being hated by my mum's (now step mum) family, usually beaten, overworked and deprived; but I was told that I was being trained to be strong since I was the first daughter by my mum (now step mum). At age seven I cooked all the meals except my (dads soups) and did all the cleaning. By age ten I cook every single meal at home, wash all the cloths and Iron, clean the house and run all the errands while my siblings both older and younger play and watch TV. I always felt my mum (step mum) will love me just a little bit more if I worked harder; she always told me I was special (and different) and that she loves me so much but does not know how to show it. cry . It hurt me deeply then that I was different so much so that its expression translated to pain; but that's in my past now and I have no regrets.

Fast forward, am all grown up and fully independent, then a distant relative I helped told me two years ago that my mum is not my real mum with facts. For me it was a relief (I thought there was something wrong with me that made me unloveable and to be treated different and given less, but I know better now). I am more confident knowing she never loved me and that it was no fault of mine.

Now, I just can't move on knowing I have a mother and I want to meet her and ask her questions (why she would dump her child for another woman to raise? Why she never came back to take me? Etc). And also if we could catch-up and be friends maybe.

The problem is that no one wants to tell me anything since most of my family members fear my dad and keep referring me back to my dad; I visited my dad and begged him to tell me who she is (I cried so much that he had to beg me to stop), he asked me to go so he can discuss it with my mum (step mum) but now shouts me down each time I bring up the topic.

I want to find my real mother cry cry cry cry . l don't know why I can't sleep or think about anything else. I need closure. I have been advised to sue my dad and am considering it. Please help me, I can't bear knowing I have a mother out there and not know who she is. Please help!

Car Talk / Re: 2020 Land Rover Defender Returns With A Complete Makeover (photos) by sango147(m): 7:27pm On Sep 12, 2019
UGLY CAR..

AutoJoshNG:

The 2020 Land Rover Defender gets a complete makeover after almost 40 years of existence. Set to be unveiled at the upcoming 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany, the new 2020 Land Rover Defender (Codenamed L663), switches from body-on-frame construction to an aluminium monocoque derived from the D7 platform of current Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Land Rover Discovery siblings.

Three-door Defender 90 and five-door Defender 110 models have been confirmed so far and a range of commercial variants will debut soon. The new Defender is built for the adventurous and curious, for those who know the value of community and strive to make a difference.

Five passenger seating is standard and an optional front jump seat that doubles as the center armrest can expand that to six. The 110 is also available in a seven-passenger configuration with a small two-seat third row.

The 2020 Land Rover Defender will be offered initially with the choice between a 296 hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a mild hybrid 395 hp 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder with electric motor assist. Fuel economy figures have not been determined.

The Defender’s all-wheel-drive system comes with a two-speed locking center differential while off-road-focused models add a rear axle lock. An optional air suspension system can increase the Defender’s ground clearance from 8.6 inches to 11.5 inches and give it the ability to wade through water up to 35.4 inches deep. The Defender is also capable of climbing, descending and traversing 45-degree grades. An 8 speed ZF automatic transmission is the only gear available for the new Land Rover Defender. However, some off-road enthusiasts are a little disappointed that the new Defender may lack the engagement they always enjoyed from the manual transmission in its predecessors.

The interior layout of the defender is modern and still retains some military feel to it. The next-generation Pivi Pro software is inspired by the latest smartphones and accessed through the central 10-inch touchscreen with an always-on design that provides instant responses, even when starting the vehicle for the first time.

The cabin is trimmed in upscale materials like leather strips on the dashboard and wood rails flanking the center console, but also has body-colored inserts on the door panels for a utilitarian touch.

Five trim levels are available: S, SE, HSE, First Edition (available for the first year) and range-topping Defender X. There are also four accessory packs – Explorer, Adventure, Country and Urban. Buyers of the new Defender have 170 accessories to choose from including a pop-up roof tent to take full advantage of the roof’s ability to support a 300 kg static load.

Do you love this design or you think the old retro design should have been retained like Mercedes-Benz did to the G Wagon? Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

My friend stop deceiving yourself, Islam is just a black sheep among all religions, Islam needs reformation

maclatunji:

Oh really?

Going by your logic, it is okay to kill Christians as long as the people doing it claim to be Jihardists?

Sometimes, I wonder whether some people enjoy the killing of their fellow people to satisfy their craving to portray Islam in bad light.

Well, unlike you, people with a rational mind know that your kind of thinking is jot useful. Trump's collective comments today;

The greatest enemies of Christians in Nigeria are Christians.

#Yeye

By the way, no matter how hard you try to smear Islam or miseducate people about it, it will still thrive. If colonialism could not stop it, dubious people hiding under Christianity definitely don't have a chance.

Politics / Re: 2019 Elections: CAN Is Mobilizing Christians To Vote Against Muslims - MURIC by sango147(m): 9:36am On Jan 30, 2018
Olodo get your facts right, ambode was not the first Christian elected governor

uote author=HungerBAD post=64629756]Is this Ishaq man normal?

When an average Nigerian is bothered about how to put food on their table, this fanatic with a questionable professorship wants to be the Femi Kayode of religious matters.

Are Christians and what they do your problem?

And which CAN are we talking about again?the same CAN filled with slick and dubious Pastors fighting Daddy Freeze to protect their Tithes?how can they even have that chance to mobilize Christians to vote when they busy scamming anything that moves near their churches?

Nigerians are way smarter than to be playing politics of religion, and tribal affiliation now.

Ambode is the first Christian to be elected in Lagos State. Lagos State has always been ruled by Muslim Governors(elected I mean) and who made this possible?was it not the Muslim Ruling Class in Lagos? Like Tinubu and the rest.

Truth is, we are no longer tied to the scam of voting by religious affiliations again.

If Olumba Olumba, Guru Maharaji or an Atheist like Seun contest against Buhari, and their Agenda looks good, I will vote for them as a Christian.

I don't need a Pastor to convince me on that.
