words on a marble.....

that right there is the key!
once a lady has the "i don't give a fück" attitude, then you can be sure decorum & self esteem aren't in her dictionary.

Wallahi, I'm usually good at spotting such females, but I was off my game this time. Let's see what she decides sha, every experience is a lesson learned.

zeb04: I have been silently folowlling this thread but was drwan by the vasectomy talk.

That is a very good decision bro, don't let anyone talk you out of me....trust me you won't have any worries at all.

What is better than having s.ex whenever you like, werever you like, however you like. Look at the bright side nd don't mind nay sayers, they can't see the good in it.

You are worth emulating self. But if that child is yours, you aint gat choice than to pay the bills.

Cheers @Zeb04.
That girl doesn't know what's coming. She thinks she will send lawyers after me after she don born, but I dey move come Abj next year so make dem come find me for hia grin

TV01:

Just curious, lets say you meet a woman of high-value (there are loads of them out there you know), who you feel is worth marrying, will you tell here about the vasectomy and why you had it done?

TV

Interesting question @TV01. It will be a sombre conversation but yes, I will have to. After all, if women can tell men that they have used the pill, the injection, or the implant to prevent unwanted pregnancies, surely a man can say he has had a vasectomy to prevent the same.

streetzdreamz: yea right,I"l always acknowledge people with a dinstinct sense of reasoning,ts hard to spot em dis days.honestly dis issue aint something a sane man will debate on its a capital N0,I mean aving a lil tummy disorder gives me a tough time nt to talk of carrying a being in ur tummy for a period of 9mnts n counting,d females aint even asking em to help in carrying d pregnancy for just a single day, just cater for d child wen he or she is born n d bloody eediats r screaming bloody murder quoting some stupid feminism gibberish!!but d sad thing is,ladies prefer dis guys far more greater dan d few one dat values em,hence I seldom pity d victims of dis discussion cuz they chose to tread dah path...m glad ladies like u aint in total extinction afterall, thumbs up dearie.

"...d females aint even asking em to help in carrying d pregnancy for just a single day, JUST cater for d child wen he or she is born..."

Are we talking about a child, or a pokemon here? Since when has catering for child for the next 18 years of your life been 'just'.

Girls with such opinions are why I decided to have a vasectomy...

alutacontinua:

good you realised you need a vasectomy
I can do it for you at no cost, you know? wink

but this one that has happened has happened, being a dad is a very wonderful thing wink

Hi @Alutacontinua.

To be even more personal, my father is the biggest disappointment I have ever had in my life. He was not prepared to be a father, decided to go ahead and do it anyway, because society expected him to, then he abandoned my mum, myself and 7 of my other siblings to go chasing other women. He used to be a high flying banker those days and we were an 'inconvenience'. Then he lost his job and my mother became very successful so he came back begging for forgiveness but it was too late. Very hard growing up without a male influence and since then, I decided that I would not put any child thru what I went thru growing up and if I am not prepared to be the kind of father a child deserves, I would rather not be involved at all and allow the child get raised by a willing person.

I sounded childish earlier but I know I am not going to be a good father so why bother?! And really, why would a woman (or society) would try to force a baby on a man that does not want it, I don't know. That is child cruelty really...

Is that believable now @bananabender?

A vasectomy is £800. I'm in Abuja atm but will sort it out soon as I am back in London 1st of September. Apparently, it can be easily reversed if done within 5 years or... you can store your sperm in a sperm bank so when you do decide to have kids, you can get ur tubes tied again and use the stored sperm t increase the chances of conception. I would recommend this to all NL guys... a lot of thirsty hoes out there looking to 'hook' guys.

Incredibly relevant post for me, I am going thru this right now!!!
My girlfriend, that I have been seeing for just 9 months, is trying to pull this sh*t on me. We had an accident once and I bought her the morning after pill straight after, but smhow she still got pregnant. We never discussed having a baby before but now this hoe is preggers, she is saying that she wants to keep it.
I tried the gentle route, trying to dissuade her from keeping the future brat, telling her how she would need to sacrifice her dreams etc - but she wouldn't budge.
Then I told her I had AS genotype (she's not 9ja so she doesn't really know what that means) lying that the baby might be a sickler after birth, even sent her some details on existing sicklers - chick still wouldn't budge.
Then I told her that my family had a history of heart disease, downs syndrome and cancer - she still wouldnt budge!!! cry

I have now taken the d*ck posture and advised her that the moment she decides to keep this baby, I will change my locks, get a restraining order on her and she and the baby will never see of hear from me ever - Now the gold-digging heffer is finally thinking about it.

In retrospect, she came to my flat in London, saw my ride and thought that she could piggy back on my lifestyle with this baby talk... trying to blackmail me. I am waiting for her decision but whatever happens, I am getting a vasectomy after this shitty experience.

to answer the original post - if she wants to keep the baby and I do not, then she must bear all the financial and emotional commitments raising a baby entails.
Properties / Re: Has Anyone Here Purchase A House From Lekki Garden(very Urgent) by SangoCrusader: 7:30am On Jul 07, 2014
I bought two properties with them 18 months ago at Phase IV and Horizon (Eti Osa) but neither are finished unfortunately. If I was counting on the rental income or resale at their advertised forward values, I would be in a fix now. The communication process after the sale is also quite poor and so far, I am beginning to regret the decision. They are, however, legitimate from what I gather, but aggressive over selling and over commitment has meant that they have missed their promised timescales without bothering to keep their customers informed.

Verdict: They will most likely deliver with reasonable quality and their prices are really good however, if you decide to purchase from them, be prepared to wait up to 36 months before receiving a completed unit in a habitable estate.
Properties / Re: Lekki Gardens Phase 2 - 3bed Terrace For Sale From N14m With Payment Plan by SangoCrusader: 7:15am On Jul 07, 2014
I do not feel comfortable at all with the kind of promises your Lekki Gardens salesmen make. I bought two properties from yourselves 18 months ago and I do not have an allocation letter to show for it and the areas are yet to be completed. Speed is certainly not one of your attributes and I am warning anyone first hand... invest with Lekki Gardens and be prepared to wait up to three years to get property in a saleable condition.

@skimanski - I like the work you have done previously, great contemporary design. Out of curiosity, what types of problems do you typically encounter with these units?
Properties / Re: "Lekki Gardens Estate" How Genuine Is It? by SangoCrusader: 2:02pm On Jul 06, 2014
Argh, that means I'm in for the long haul I suppose. Not ideal, but we just have to deal with it. To be fair to them, their prices are affordable so I will just need to watch and hope that they deliver their promises on infrastructure, quality and security, albeit 18 months later than was promised. undecided

Thanks for the update TAKE-TWO. I am very happy to know your experience. I have invested N23m in these guys so I HOPE they are going to deliver. As you say, it will be great if someone could confirm if they have received their units, what state it was in, etc
I do not live in Nigeria but my banker (for my Nigerian account) at the time assured me that they were genuine. I still believe that they are genuine (I have to I suppose) but some more information would be great from you guys so we can all understand the situation better.
Properties / Re: "Lekki Gardens Estate" How Genuine Is It? by SangoCrusader: 3:35pm On Jul 04, 2014
Hello guys, hope this post is still alive.
I bought a 3 bed terrace at Lekki Gardens Phase 4 and I only got my allocation letter 15 months after paying fully but the estate is far from completed and I do not think the place will be fully inhabited before 2016! Same thing with Horizon 2, I bought a flat there 18 months ago but still no allocation. I am getting slightly nervy to be honest but from the information I am getting around, they are likely to deliver albeit 2-3 years behind schedule due to over-commitment and possibly placing payments in fixed deposit accounts as a financing mechanism.
It would be great though if someone from Lekki Gardens could address (or at least comment on) these issues before we start to panic.
