CelebritiesRe: Lagbaja Declines To Perform At Iyiola Omisore's Campaign Rally by SangoCrusader: 9:48am On Jul 27, 2014
It has begun... let's see if D'banj and the rest will follow GEJ to campaign in 2015 after GEJ's terrible performance.
PoliticsRe: Gbajabiamila Rejects Jonathan’s $1billion Loan Request To Fight Boko Haram, Prof by SangoCrusader: 6:20am On Jul 26, 2014
This is guy is truly on the money here. Is it a coincidence that GEJ is asking for $1bn just a few months to elections?!?!?!? With a PDP government already known for rampant corruption and lack of accountability, granting this loan will be a terrible mistake.

Let the corrupt senate find the money since "$20bn is not missing".
IslamRe: Being Muslim And The Danger Of A Single Story by SangoCrusader: 9:55am On Jul 25, 2014
dragan: Yeah yeah we get it there are Muslims all over the world doing bad stuff but the FACT remains that that is NOT what the Quran teaches nor how the Prophet (S.A.W) lived his life. EOD

So all that verse quoting you people do to attack Muslims or all that verse quoting terrorists do to justify their actions is all WRONG for various reasons , the simplest one being that they were revealed a time long ago for a certain situation.

I wont even bother to say anything anymore since I'm pretty sure this has been said like a million times but none of you or them (terrorists) will ever listen.

But i will admit that there's a large amount of ignorant Muslims in this world that harbor some disliking or hate towards other faithfuls for whatever reasons so i guess its only normal that we would get the same treatment from other ignorant people.
As you have called some muslims ignorant, some muslims are also calling you ignorant. Boko Haram in Sambisa Forest will call you ignorant too. Can you admit that subjectivity makes it impossible to interpret the Quran in one true way?!
IslamRe: Being Muslim And The Danger Of A Single Story by SangoCrusader: 9:05am On Jul 25, 2014
Such posts sicken me to be honest.

What you have given us is YOUR INTERPRETATION OF THE QURAN while Abubakar Shekau and Boko Haram have their own interpretation believing Allah is vengeful and sanctions this wave of killings. After all, Allah sanctioned it before with prophet Muhammad, so why are you so arrogant to believe he can not be exacting his will through Boko Haram?!?! Admit it, Abubakar Shekau is as much a Muslim as you and all of your clerics and he is using that same QURAN to justify his actions.

It is like Deeper Life calling baptist churches fake... wtf?!
HealthRe: Ebola Virus Hits Lagos by SangoCrusader: 7:39pm On Jul 24, 2014
I remember hen the SARS virus was rampaging most of Asia. Th UK took no chances and xrayed EVERYONE getting into their country from ASIA, AFRICA and the Middle East just to make sure nothing came through their borders. People coming from particularly endemic areas were investigated longer. Are you telling me that with this virus rampaging parts of Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone, we are still letting people in from those countries WITHOUT ANY GODD DANM CHECKS!!! i'M GETTING THE PHUCK OUT OF NAIJA MAN!!!

hardbody: A few things here stand out like a sore thumb. You are such a newbie, you got registered on June 27, 2014 and have spent a cumulative of just one day on total time spent online. You have posted only one topic on how to scam people of N75m of their hard earned money. The remaining 58 posts all reek of the demented fool that you are.

Now I also noticed that in your wisdom you have no profile pic, yet you have the effrontery only associated buffoonery to pretend to attack me using my profile pic. I called you out before and I am doing that again, open a thread and lets advertise ourselves for NLers and the world to judge for themselves. You have opened the most stinking can of worm you ever could, and as I said earlier, bring your Shiite on, I am available to smear u with it.
Bros, u get time sha. From 6am to 12pm, you have just been insulting people non-stop. So sm1 smwhere is paying your math-deficient head N2m a month to talk rubbish on forums. I don't even have your time today sef, just GO AND DIE!!!

Before Seun bans me, let me explain. This is Hardbody's public profile pic so I am not violating rule 10 by exposing his identity as it is already exposed. Shall I take it down @ hardbody? (I remain loyal!!!)

hardbody: Well I came back. My ban lapsed. I exist not for people like you. There are those who know me and there has been mutual benefits. Keep scrutinizing my pics and not my posts because you are handicapped to read and comprehend my write ups.

Upon my return, who has been shamed? The joke is now on you.
Thank you for taking time out of your busy money making schedule to speak to NLers. We remain loyal sah!
I take God beg u, even if it is a fake bank statement, just post it 4 us with the N2m salary payment and I will apologise and beg @prettyboi1989 to follow suit.

osasboy: FMCG business model is quite challenging but with good ROI if well planned and managed.
I always start at looking at consumers needs(gap) and then solve the problems by introducing goods or services that will meet their needs.

Firstly, You can start by looking at any product or service you think that Nigerians needs that are in other parts of the world and is not currently in Nigeria.
I have been opportune to work with some entrepreneurs in this category and i have seen them make good cash from this opportunities.

It involved lots of planning and strategic thinking....
You can mail me on osasid@yahoo.com for further correspondence .
Thanks, I will send an email later.

osasboy: There are lots of businesses you can invest in with such amount of money especially fmcg and consumable. With this you will own a standard business and create job opportunities for youths.
Real estate is a lucrative business ,but the question is do you want you want to run a day to day business or you just want to invest and wait for a reasonable ROI after a period?
Thanks @osasboy. I am actually looking for a day to day business that will give me a chance to meet people and make business links for other opportunities. One thing I hate about my current job is that it is back office financial work where I barely get to talk to any customers at all. Regarding FMCG, could you please help me outline how the business model would work if I chose to go into it?

Youngzedd: Tax.

Read TB thread on investment section.

The bank will milk you will their tax percent while TB is not taxable.

You can also post this thread there, you will see more suggestions.
I did not think about that... the last time I did a fix deposit, I got his with an MHT tax so I guess the T bills are safer and tax free. Thanks for that @Youngzedd.

TokyoBulls: If I were in your shoes, I will not go near Real Estate in Nigeria or Abuja in particular. I live and work in Lagos and Abuja and the property market is only in one direction you can clearly see if you're smart. There are many estates in Abuja that have been completed for more than 4 years without clients to buy or lease. The truth is they're usually overvalued and the owners aren't desperate for cash.

Treasurery bills and fixed deposits are safe but yiled very small ROI. You can't get anywhere near 30% with TBills or fixed deposits. My risk appetite is moderate so I don't go near low-risk, low-return investments. I access and invest in moderate and high return businesses and clearly the risk needs to be accessed.

There are possible distribution investments that yied up to 5% or more monthly and most of them are multinational FMCG companies with proper structures and are on the Nigerian Stock Exchange or even on New York Exchange. If I were in your shoes, I will get a bank guarantee to the value of this sum and start distribution for 2 of these companies and bring in a franchise brand as the third. Margin on such brands may be as high as 60%.
Thanks man, you have raised very good points. Last time I was in Abuja, I drove around Apo, Lokogoma and Gwarinpa in Abuja and the number of newly built and uninhabited estates was very surprising with 'for sale' and 'to let' signs everywhere. I currently work for a multinational FMCG but have never thought about smaller players like me being able to enter such markets. Are there any particular FMCG companies you would recommend with potentially lucrative products not currently in the Nigerian market?
