PoliticsUpdate: As Jega Steps Out, Muhammad Wali Emerges As New Inec Chairman by SaniSANOH(op): 9:14pm On Jun 30, 2015
As Prof. Attahiru Jega on Tuesday bowed out of office as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

He handed over to Mohammed Wali, a national commissioner of the INEC from Sokoto State, whose five-year tenure will also expire on August 11, 2015.

Jega was appointed chairman of the commission by former President Goodluck Jonathan on June 30, 2010.

He conducted two elections – 2011 and 2015.

Speaking briefly at the end of the closed-door handing over ceremony at the Commission in Abuja,  Jega said the future of the country and commission was bright.

He said he was grateful to God and the country for the opportunity to serve.

He said, “We feel great; we thank God Almighty for the opportunity to serve the country. The future is bright for the commission and the country.”

Secretary to the Commission, Mrs. Augusta Ogakwu, confirmed to journalists that Jega handed-over to Wali.

Wali is expected to act pending the appointment of a new chairman by President Muhammadu Buhari.

She also added,  “We believe we will soon hear what will happen next from the president.”

Ogakwu said, Jega, while handing over, encouraged the commission to keep the flag flying.

“Jega said in whatever we have achieved, we should keep it up and do more, adding that there is still a lot to be done,” she said.

Jega left the commission with six national commissioners whose tenures also expired on Tuesday.

HealthRe: Is it Possible for a AA genotype to give birth to SC.. Are They My Parents? by SaniSANOH(m): 10:55pm On Jun 26, 2015
Leem4:
i was born in the mid 90s. At birth i am a very healthy child according to my mum and relatives. My mum said, she can count the number's of time she took to the hospital.

It all started, when i am six years old, i started having crises. Majorly rheumatic pains in my body.
When these become convesant, our doctor told my, parent to carry out genotype test on me. As per the result of the test, i am SC. Since i am young, i dont have the knowlegde nor understanding about these.

Some month ago, a program is being aired in regards to advice to youth, base on genotype.
Then i voiced out to my parent, that as an literate , WHY did they get married to each other when they knew they will give bith to SS. WHY did they give birth to me to make me suffer. WHY do i have to live my life like these always, (they dont allow me to get involve in many activities ). As the conversation ensued, my mum said, during her time, the awareness level is low, and people dont even mind it.

Six years ago, for rougly two years, i didnt go the hospital, talkless of having crises. Am very healthy, but since last year, the crises and many health issue erupt again.

We relocated, then we changed our hospital, the doc the said my parents and i should go for genotype test and blood group test.
THIS is where the problem lie's, my mum is AA and my dad is AC. Regarding to the bloog group test, all of us are A+. With my little, knowledge, about genetics, if AA and AC is cross breed, they will give rise to AA AC AA AA. And they are both A+ they will give birth to A+. When i showed my mum these mistake, he told my dad, then we went to another hospital to retake the test which is still the same.
Now my question is this possible,? Is there any scientific backing about these, or are the not my parent, but i have physical resemblance to my dad.
Please i need your answer's

A friend of mine study genetic engineering he could have give us answer to ur inquiry but I couldn't reach him may be this image of Genotype and donor's can add to ur inquiry and any other person in need

Christianity EtcTo The Menstruating Sister During Ramadhan: Off Sallah Is Not Off Ibadah. by SaniSANOH(op): 11:27am On Jun 25, 2015
I got this article from a Muslim sister and feels it's a kind of charity ( Sadaqat ) to share it with Muslims society.

By:

Sister Ameena A Umar
Off-Salah isn’t Off- Ramadhan
(To the menstruating sister during Ramadhan)

i wrote this Article last Ramadhan but
i didnt publish it. And since then, it’s
being lying in my folder. it’s basically
about the activities a muslimah should
engage in during Ramadhan while she
is on her period. many ladies actually
think not being able to pray exempts
them from during reward earning
activities during Ramadhan.
In sha Allah, this post is to enlighten
the women folk and help set straight
the misconception as regards the
religious activities to be engaged in
while fasting.
I hope that this benefits everyone
.
Zainab, reciting a verse of the Quran
walked in quietly. She expected to meet
no one at home as everyone in the
quest to finishing the recitation of the
Quran in the first 10 days of Ramadan
must have gone to the masjid. Contrary
to what she presumed, she did meet
someone in the house. Ruqayyah!
Ruqayyah was lying on the sofa
watching TV. While everyone thought
they barely had any time to spare for
un-necessary activities, Ruqayyah was
calmly watching “I hate Love Stories”,
an Indian film, in the afternoon of
Ramadan. Finding this eccentric,
zainab couldn’t help but ask…
“Zainab: do you realize it’s Ramadan?
You have to fast not only with your
taste buds on strike but also with every
organ of your body, which vividly
include your eyes and ears. Why
should you waste your time watching
movies?
Ruqayyah: Subhanallah zainab! I am
off salah. There is no act of worship
that I can engage in right now and
besides it’s just a movie. In fact, I have
planned to watch at least 5 movies
before I finish menstruating in sha
Allah!”
In sha Allah! I hope you took note of
that word. The truth is this is a perfect
example of how we spend our
menstruating days during the month of
Ramadan. If it’s not movies then it’s
about music! May Allah protect us all.
70% of ladies during menstruation see
themselves as been free from all acts of
worship and they spend the whole day
doing things that are imperceptibly
rewarding. Ramadan is a month in
which the Quran should be the most
conspicious item in virtually every
home. There is a distinct moral
levitation and a calm atmosphere that
usually envelop the whole
environment. It is a month of virtue
which spares no time for frivolities. In
other words, there are numerous acts
of worship a menstruating woman can
and should engage in during Ramadan.
At each salah time, if a menstruating
woman performs wuduu, sits and
makes Dhikr and as well perform
tasbih (Subhanallah, Lailaha illallah
etc) for as long as it usually take her to
perform Salah, she will be given as
many rewards as she will get if she had
performed Salah in the best manner.
Listening to the Quran is also
permitted as it is the perfume for the
soul, the calmer of the heart and the
food for the spirit. Allah says in Quran
39verse 17 – 18 “so give good news to
my slaves, those who listen to the word
and then follow the best of it.” With
this, listening to the Quran is
prescribed for menstruating women.
In ibn kathir’s tafsir of suratul a’raf
verse 179, “the similitude of the one
who memorizes the Qur’an but does
not act in accordance to it is like a
donkey which carries a load of books
but does not understand what it
entail.” The menstrual period is indeed
an opportunity to take time and reflect
upon the Quran, just like the sahabahs
used to do.
Mu’adh bn Jabal (RA) said the prophet
of Allah (SAW) said “the people of
paradise will not regret anything
except one thing alone, the hour that
passed them by, which they made no
remembrance of Allah.” Narrated by
Bayhaqi bn Shu’ab alimran (1:392
512-513). This is proof that a
menstruating woman, day and night is
permitted to make plenty of dhikr. We
should set for ourselves daily targets
during our menses, to do as much
dhikr as possible throughout the day;
at work, while cooking, shopping and
even while relaxing. We should ensure
we always remember Allah with our
tongue as well as our Hearts.
Moreover, the highest ranks in Jannah
are for those who remember Allah the
most.
Also, be of best manners, character and
conduct. The Rasul said “the best loved
by me and the nearest to me in the
seats on the day of resurrection are
those who have the best manners and
conducts amongst you, who are
intimate, are on good terms with
others and are humble. And the most
hated by me, who will be on the
farthest seats from me are those who
are the talkative and arrogant.”
Tirmidhi.
It is important that a menstruating
lady increase in giving out charity, as
it eliminates sins and relinquishes one
from Hell. In a narration, the Rasul
(SAW) said: “charity wipes out sins as
water extinguishes fire.” In another
narration he (SAW) also said:
“Righteous deeds protect a person from
an evil end; a charity spent in secret
extinguishes Allah’s wrath; and
maintaining good ties of kinship
increase one’s lifespan (Tabaran).
Remember! Charity doesn’t necessarily
mean giving out money or material
things. Removing harmful objects from
people’s way, providing for one’s
family, spreading the message of Al-
Islam via texts facebook updates,
tweets or thought provoking pictures
on instagram are also acts of charity.
In conclusion, a woman on her menses
must never feel that she is unable to
gain the blessings and rewards of the
month of Ramadan. There is virtually
nothing stopping her from gaining
immense reward equal to that of a
man. All that is required of her is
effort. Effort throughout Ramadan, and
with the belief that Allah will accept
all her supplication. On the inquiry of
Aisha (RA), Rasul recommended that
we should say “Allahuma innaka
afuwun affuwun tuhibul afwa fa ‘fu
anee – Oh Allah, you are pardoning
and you love to pardon, so pardon me.”
May Allah in His infinite mercy
pardon us all and enable us gain the
best of rewards in this blessed month.
Amin. Share it with your friends and family

greatestluv4all:
To my fellow muslim sister, your candid and honest opinion is required and even the brothers too.

I have two suitors, a muslim and a non muslim.

Both have asked for my hand in marriage and have met their respective families.

Here is the challenge

The muslim is married with kids and only willing to take me as his second wife.
We know every woman wants a man for her self alone.

The non muslim have told me I have to leave my religion, the parents even reiterated these on my last visit.

Both are gainfully employed and are serious about the proposal.

As a muslim sister, if you are in my shoe, what will you do?

Brothers, help a sister.
Assalam... You sounds as if u just joined Islam in just few days that, as a Muslim you are expected to live and copy the the way and manner our holy prophet live, he instructed us to marry 2, 3, 4 wives and provide for their needs with equal opportunities

In addition to ur non Muslim suitor, I believe ur an adult 18+ u know what's good for you in this life and hereafter.

Mine is for to choose a polygamy life and be free from tournament of hell fire.

Romance(photos) A Lady Promised To Give Out Brand New Anaconda, House And Change Wardro by SaniSANOH(op): 10:11am On Jun 18, 2015
KANO SUITORS AND ANACONDA GIFT

I was surprised and appalled by the huge turnout of youths at the premises of Freedom Radio, a Kano based radio station, after the station featured a lady in its light variety programme, "In da Ranka".

The lady, identified as Taibat Abdulkareem, claimed on radio that she had a heartbreak after quitting a decade-old relationship, and therefore decided not to engage in prolonged courtship henceforth. Taibat is looking for Mr Right. She promised that whoever turns out to be the lucky guy, will drive home with Toyota Camry — that bogus type called Anaconda.

One witty Hausa proverb says that if a man offers to give you cloth, take a look at the dress he is wearing. How can a girl who allegedly came to the radio station in a hired tricycle promise a car? Not an old LADA, a knocked-down Honda Quintet, a smoky Prelude, rickety VW Golf 1 or a smashed Opel Vectra but a thriving Toyota Camry (Anaconda)? It sounds strange to me. Yes, strange. It would have made sense to me if the "anaconda" prize was made by the youths — in which case it appears redeemably feasible to each of the 2,000 or so youths that thronged to swoop on the freebies.

Most young men nowadays can't afford to marry because of the cost of nuptial rope. It will be difficult for an unemployed person to pay 'kudin zance', buy 'kayan sa rana' and 'kayan lefe'. I remember how scrawny my neck became when I was saving to buy Super (I still don't want to hear the name) and other items for my 'kayan lefe'.

But this wonder lady is giving herself gratis with Anaconda to boot. And the Kano awoof mongers fell for it and turned out well-dressed with their photos for her to see and select.

Reports say the youths were initially taken aback when the lady appeared in tricycle. Nonetheless, the young men started a tug-of-war, jostling to attract her attention – perhaps expecting the tricycle to transmute into Camry, not Vespa. Already policemen and Hisbah officials were mobilized to the scene. According to reports, she was taken to Hisbah office for questioning.

This story itself tells a story – the story of unemployment in the country. Everywhere in the country, this scenario will play out if a lady promises to buy a car for anybody she chooses as a husband. I know many Nigerians would accept the car offer to French-kiss a leper. If you swallow a tubeful of Maclean dazzol.

Well, the present administration should focus on creating employment opportunities than giving N5,000 to unemployed youths. N5,000 a month means living on N167 per day, with each of the three-square meal costing N55. Government should rather divert the money for establishment of vocational centers across the country for youths to acquire skills and fend for themselves.

With a job, the youths can afford to offer Anaconda to a damsel of their choice not the other way round.

PoliticsUS, Israel Behind B’haram, ISIS, Says Al-bashir by SaniSANOH(op): 11:08pm On Jun 15, 2015
Sudan President Omar al-Bashir has alleged that the American and Israeli intelligence agencies are responsible for Boko Haram and Islamic State (ISIS) insurgency in Africa. According to him, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Israel’s national intelligence institute (Mossad) are behind Boko Haram and ISIS attacks in Africa. Speaking to Euronews in an interview, al-Bashir said no Muslim could do what the sects do, suggesting that it was the intention of US and Israel to increase enmity against Islam. “I said CIA and the Mossad stand behind these organisations; there is no Muslim who would carry out such acts,” he said. The 25-year-long ruler of Sudan advised that the battle against ISIS and Boko Haram should not be confronted with military power alone, but also with ideological conversion of the radicals. “Our policy has been largely successful; after we arrest these young people, we bring a group of young scholars to engage in dialogue with them about their thoughts, and we succeed to bring a lot of them back from their radical ideas,” he said. Earlier, Lebanon’s Hezbollah group had also claimed that CIA and Mossad were behind the terrorist sects in Nigeria, Syria and Iraq. The 71-year-old also spoke as regards the Human Rights Watch (HRW) that 200 women were raped and abused in Sudan, stating that the claims were “opposition-run and Israel funded”. Al-Bashir took over power in June 1989 and has since ruled the north-

Career9 Smart Ways To Say No To Your Boss Without Losing Your Job by SaniSANOH(op): 9:50am On Jun 15, 2015
9 Smart Ways To Say No To Your Boss Without Losing Your Job

Finding smart ways to say no can be difficult especially when it comes to saying no to your boss. Often we find ourselves feeling like we are treading on eggshells when it comes to communicating with your superior in the workplace. While being careful with what you say and do is important, keeping your cool and knowing your limits is also vital. Below are 9 smart ways to say no to your boss without losing your job. Check them out and discover what works best for you and your situation.

1. Remind Your Boss Of Your Current Workload

Being that we all are human, we can only take on so much responsibility before life becomes a little too hard. Do not let it all stress you out to the point where you put your health and mentality at risk. Remind your boss of your current workload and projects you are working on.

By showing that you are at work on a variety of other important tasks, you show your boss that you have taken on some responsibility already and that you are working on completing them in a timely manner before you begin anything else. Do not be shy to use this technique. Saying no without expletively saying it in this case is a great way to keep everything neutral and as stress free as possible.

2. Say No Without Really Saying No

Have you ever heard of saying no without really saying it as? Certain ways to do so include, using your body language to convey the message and changing tone of voice without being offensive. Use expressions such as “When would you need this done by? I would love to help but…” Make sure you explain yourself clearly in order to convey the message that you cannot but avoid saying no to new projects out right to your boss. Instead think of ways to let your boss know that you would really rather not.

3. Plan On Making Changes To Your Schedule

Sometimes saying no to right now situations when feeling over-burdened is a great tactic. Once again, explain what you are working on when your boss approaches you and see if there are changes that can be made in order for you to complete all that is asked of you.

Perhaps they can suggest having colleagues work on some tasks to help share in the burden. After all, a work environment is supposed to be a team! Plan to make changes to your schedule and ask around the office for help and support if needed. Do not neglect your resources and enjoy working as a unit. Maybe changing your schedule will not have to be done after all.

4. Question Your Boss’s Needs

Do not be afraid to question your boss’s needs. Ask your boss, calmly of course, about the purpose of certain projects and why it needs to be done at this time. If your plate is full, let them know. If not, reevaluate whether it is worth you questioning to avoid appearing idle in the workplace. Example responses include “How important is this?” or “I have a full schedule of tasks ahead. Why does this project need my attention now?” Use a calm yet confident voice as this may help your boss in reevaluating his own priorities and whether or not this task can be completed by themselves.

5. Pitch An Alternative Solution

If you fear saying no, try offering another solution to fix a project or something that needs to be completed. Examples include offering suggestions on how to make things less stressful in terms of the proposed work or asking for the work to be divided between groups so that it is able to be completed on time. For smaller projects that you may feel over burdened with, ask your boss if perhaps there is someone in administration or an intern that can be of help. Alternative solutions can limit stress and benefit everyone involved.

6. Suggest Colleagues

Suggest colleagues that might be better trained to complete the task than you. Think that something your boss wants you to do is out of your job description? Make suggestions about others who may be more equipped than yourself to handle it. Examples include being asked to write a report about IT management yet your position is in human resources.

Suggest a co-worker who does work in IT who is more knowledgeable about the subject and can better answer questions. If your boss prefers for you to write it for whatever reason, try asking if there is a way if perhaps you could partner with a co-worker to get the job done. Do not stress yourself out and use your resources.

7. Communicate Your Limits

Let your boss know what your limits are and when. If things are not going so well for you, let your boss know that you might not be feeling the best you can feel to complete a task with quality.

8. Make Sure Everything Is Clear From The Beginning

Make sure people know your limits from the beginning. By being clear I mean, make sure that your boss knows what you are best at doing, how you can help them and why you are there in the first place. It is all too often that once a job begins, employees often find themselves doing extra projects outside of the job description. If you are not willing to take on this extra work, let your boss know from the beginning that you would rather use your skills elsewhere to benefit the company.

9. Schedule A Meeting

If all else fails, make sure to schedule a meeting with your boss and confront the situation. In the meeting let your boss know your limits and whether you are feeling stressed. Do not let yourself become a doormat, always the person your boss goes to when looking to get anything and everything done. Remind your boss why you choose to work for them in the first place and emphasize your skill set and what you can and would like to focus on.

Focus on staying relaxed and confident as you approach your boss with one of these ways of saying no. Emphasize how important you think all work is to the company but remind them what purpose you are there to serve.

Remember to look on the bright side of things! If you feel unsure about how to approach your boss about something you do not want to do, pay attention to the way others interact with them. These 9 smart ways to say no can definitely get the point across. Use your talent where it is best needed.
