Health / Re: How To Treat Your Fertility Problems? by Sanjanasri: 7:24am On Jul 06, 2022
Fertility problems in women can have a host of reasons as mentioned here, some that can be addressed by treating and managing the underlying condition, while some others may not be amenable to it.
Most fertility problems in women are related to hormonal issues and imbalances and the commonest among these that is increasingly affecting women in the reproductive age group is PCOS which is characterized by irregular, reduced, or absent production of fertile eggs, and it can also cause difficulty during the course of pregnancy. Other problems such as structural defects, thyroid problems, endometriosis, etc.,
can have a significant impact on female fertility. When facing difficulties with conceiving, it is advisable to seek the help of a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, who can then investigate the cause of infertility, and suggest the appropriate treatment based on the underlying problem.
The treatment of infertility primarily depends on the underlying cause, and various Assisted Reproduction Technologies (ART) are available, and these include ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Egg Donation, Egg Retrieval, Embryo Transfer, and many more. An infertility specialist can decide the best course of management based on the underlying problem, and the need and comfort of the individual.
Romance / Re: Natural Ways To Improve Your Fertility Health And Produce Healthy Sperm by Sanjanasri: 11:00am On May 14, 2022
Fertility and sperm health are influenced by a lot of factors including diseases and medical conditions. Underlying medical conditions and disease will require investigations and proper management to restore fertility and sperm health. However, lifestyle modifications, a good diet, and supplementation can help in a big way to produce healthy sperm and promote fertility in men. Among these, regular exercise improves blood flow and increases testosterone levels, helps to burn extra calories, and maintains ideal body weight, all of which contribute to enhanced fertility. Reducing mental and emotional stress is also important to improve sperm health as it helps to reduce the cortisol levels in the body. Supplementation with vitamin D, vitamin C, zinc, and selenium is also advisable as all these play important roles in maintaining hormonal balance, fighting oxidative stress and free radicals, and boosting testosterone and sperm count. Systemic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease, can also have an impact on fertility and sperm health, and it is, therefore, important to ensure that these problems are well controlled. It is wise to seek an infertility doctor consultation - https://www.skedoc.com/hyderabad/infertility-specialist if there is difficulty in conceiving in spite of repeated attempts over a period of 1 year.
