Celebrities / Re: Omotola Blasts FG For Mistreating Nigerians by sansan13(m): 8:38am On Jun 14, 2013
wow just reading some comments on here makes me sad
why can't you guys at least support someone who is trying to do something good for onces. lets give her a chance to atleat try. yes true she should have speak up since, but so should us all...better now than never, how many of you have spoken out against the govt? or try to do something to try to better nigeria?
i support her 100%, for those that are putting her down ppl like you is the reason why nigeria wouldn't go forward.
instead of us to be greatful that atleast someone with little power wants to try and fight for nigeria against the wrong doings of the govt. we are here talking trash.

the least we can do is support her since none of us have the balls to speak against nigerian govt.

Hello everyone I need your help
I'm planing on visiting nigeria soon and stay for a month. I want to take some cloths and shoes with me to sell there.
my question are:
Will they sell?
I planned on selling them between $20-30$ each i think thats like 3,136-4,700 naira each.
Are people over there willing to buy cloths and shoes for that amount of money?

here are some of the products

what do you guys think?
Family / Re: Is It Advisable For A 27-yr-old Graduate To Rent His Own Place? by sansan13(m): 7:48am On May 11, 2013
Tonyblinky: I am a graduate, aged 27, I recently got a job with a govt parastatal with a salary little above 50k and I was posted to benin city where my parents live in a rented 3bedroom flat,I share room with my siblings and a few relatives.

I don't have any privacy and comfort, moreso its quite far from my workplace.I really feel like renting a small apartment where I can start my life.

Is it a nice decision and how do i convince my parents?

pls ur thoughts on this

damn!!! 27?? i guess every cultural is diff. i guess you still consider yourself a child(by the way you asked the question) you are a grown man so you should move out but first save up for 6 months, i think thats the smartest thing to do. im currently 22yrs i have my own apt place graduating from my university in 2weeks. currently have a part time job n i dont think i'll be moving back home.

Something funny-i have a uncle who is 31yrs that still call himself a boy and act like he is my age.
Family / Re: Raising A Child To Speak English In Nigeria: Is It Proper? by sansan13(m): 3:16pm On May 06, 2013
its really sad, me and my siblings that were born in america ( still live in us) can speak our native language my parents make sure we speak it at home and we can also speak english pretty well. I was surprise that most of my cousins back in nigeria dont know how to speak our native language, whenever i talk to them i always speak my native language mix with english but they can never speak it. i was so embarrassed for them.

Lol Afam

He clearly stated that he was coming to visit,

Mr man

Come back home, you are not the first and definitely not gonna be the last. I also was in Nigeria last January and it was fun all through. No need to be scared, unless you wan de show yourself for street with your bentley and attract unnecessary attention for yourself.<

But I guarantee you that you will enjoy it for sure, no doubt about it.

thanks for your advise smiley

Lolgrin@Take it easy on me

Now back to your question. Are you moving permanently to settle in Nigeria or are you just coming for a visit?

EDIT:
I'm sorry, i didn't really pay attention to the topic. Since you're coming to visit then just come with the mindset of a tourist.

things can be scary on nairaland lol
