Lol, was wondering too... cos a supposed SPO will never be asking for his duties at this time when election is super close. SPO were even responsible for teaching Po(s) and APO(s) during the training, don't understand how such a person will not know his own roles at this stage lol

Don't wait for the message, they may not come. Please go to the local government you registered with and check the list of selected candidates. Your name could be on the list already... many people i know didn't get text message but eventually saw their names among successful candidates.

Alright, as per the orientation, it was a form of orientation, but not training for Corp members. Real INEC training will start in some states tomorrow, although we've not started in Oyo State.

In my local government, only a few were shortlisted because they said we were too many, and they claimed there was a quota given to them.

I used the Manual way in applying for Inec adhoc staff and i filled my Local Govt of residence same with my local govt of Origin and i don't want them to post me to the local govt of residence i filled so i want to know if it my Local govt of residence i posted they will post me to

If selected, you'd be posted to your local government of residence. They believe that's where you live and it's easily accessible.

i'm telling u. like soneone told me yesterday that they've started training in Kaduna and i thought it's a joke nt until i saw it online. i don't just get it now look like we that applied are left out.

I am Serving Corp member, we haven't started any training, the "training" you've been hearing is just a form of keeping us busy and giving us orientation about the whole job, giving us insights, precautions especially (mainly cos Corp members are somewhat exposed to dangers, as many are not in familiar environments) . The real training is 3 days (29th-31st, Jan) , please be rest assured you're not left out of any proceedings.

As a serving Corp member, we were told at the orientation that the training will commence on the 29th of this month and will run till 31st. That makes it 3 days.

You may be wrong. Federal civil servants may be included, but Corp members make up the vast majority of the ad-hoc officials.
