Abagworo:Killed? For what crime exactly? And you think killing him will give you peace? I just hope the people up there do not have such shallow mindset. |
I blame Buhari for where we are today. As a rational thinking human being I see nothing wrong with any human being asking for freedom. The only thing wrong with Kanu's approach is insult and I think it is logical. If we were a country of highly civilised beings who listen to reason, using insults to achieve anything wouldn't have been necessary. It is like ASUU going on strike. The homofabers in govt do not understand a peaceful language. The insult is wrong too. The method is bad but it is logical. And Buhari was an embodiment of such crudity of the Nigerian state. Somebody like Osinbanjo would have handled the whole thing in a smarter way. We employed a 7th century mind to resolve a 21st century problem. |
Dreambeat:How do you read and understand? |
Fake news but I've noticed Nigerians, especially Muslims, talking about Myanmar. The reason is because of the Rohinga Muslims who the Myanmar govt has told to get out. The govt claimed they are not indigenous to the land. I've watched Al-Jazeera and Press TV carry it in all their news hour. That's the world we live in today. A very shameless world torn out by organised religion. In Al-Jazeera's backyard, Christians in the middle east are treated like shit. While the condemnation is good it is born out of hypocrisy not love or justice for the entire human race. Myanmar's govt released the same argument the Nigerian govt offered for shooting at Shia and IPOB members. These Nigerians who see nothing wrong with killing IPOB members see something wrong with Myanmar's govt treatment of Rohinga Muslims. It is not out of love they are doing this but simply to protect their own. Humans! smh. |
I blame Buhari for all these. Seems the man is cursed. His body language and cave mindset led us here. |
And some persons feel that my dear South East is the right arena to dance with snakes! |
If it was about hate for one tribe or the other they'd would had flocked the entire place. Smh. |
chiefsaif:Okay. I don't have the energy. |
Youcharia:Yes. Their are so many criminals around here and their strategies evolve. |
Graysmooth:Okay. I was only trying to make sure their is no foul play involved. I needed to put the number to a face. So many criminals are roaming around here. |
chiefsaif:Objective? What does that mean in this context? Aren't the choices we make subjective? What are you talking about? Have you been wired to believe you can only choose from two options? How are you being objective? |
We are not ready to make this country work. By we I mean our leaders and their weapons of mind destruction. People are not stupid. They recognise bias when they see them. We are not interested in peace yet. Take these guys suspected to be BMC on this forum for example. All their posts are filled with hate and we want to fight hate speeches. What I think they are fighting is simply hate against them and not hatred in general. That is why all the spokespersons for this government dish out hatred but don't expect it in return. We have soldiers and leaders who are beautifully ignorant. They have been conditioned to believe that their lives and families have more value than the lives of other Nigerians. Sick. |
chiefsaif:Why the two? Don't we have about 13 parties? Or you are going with the crowd? Why choose between a rotten tomato and a rotten tomato if their are fresh tomatoes? |
Graysmooth:Nice one but why don't you have a profile picture? |
chiefsaif:That's what they will insist on, what's yours? What is your position? Or are you incapable of independent thinking? |
You didn't give any reason why restructuring is better than referendum. |
Don't you have any shame? Should he decide not to run? A sick man who was not competent enough even when he was healthy? What's wrong with some of you Nigerians? So, if this sick incompetent man decides to run you will go ahead and vote for him? An incompetent man. A man who is unhealthy. You guys have no shame. |
What a country! The herdsmen are given both moral and material support but protesters are shot with live ammunitions. They kill and the President make a defense for them by calling them Libyan herdsmen. Our leaders are really stupid. They think you can ever have peace through force. These guys kill and El-Rufai tells us he paid them to avoid any further mayhem. You pay murderers and you are not afraid to say it. I'm not surprised. Our problem is largely a result of Political correctness. People trying to always be neutral when they should take a stand. Affected persons and lovers of humanity trying not to hurt or be tagged hater for saying the truth. The lives of Fulani Herdsmen(Yes, Fulani Herdsmen not any Libyan nonsense) has the same value with that of other human beings here. No life is more precious than the other. Political correctness will not help us. |
Are we really outraged about the evil in Nigeria or the world or we are just pretenders? Do we really care or we just pretend to care? Our sense of outrage over evil has been biased and controlled by the all-powerful media. Whatever direction they want us to take we do gladly. Whatever argument they feel is the best to be discussed they make it the subject of our discussions. It has been like this for a very long time. The Nigerian media has exercised the power to shape our opinions and even decide who we should hate or love. They have the power to make an evil man appear good and a good man appear evil. They have the power to portray the poor and oppressed as the oppressors and their oppressors the oppressed. Let’s begin. Read Full Article@ http://www.mortalpoet.com/nigerian-media-media-controlling/

maklelemakukula:Lol. I carried that for three years(smh) until we got very close in 4th year when she "became a good person". Her words. |
"Who is smiling with you?" I was smiling as I helped a girl pick her notebook that fell on the ground and she said that. That was in 100 level. |
989900:Simplify it. What idea of restructuring do you align with? |
989900:Restructuring is simple. Either Regionalism or Resource Control. Where do you stand? |
989900:What are you saying? Restructure or not to Restructure? |
How we voted the crook a second term still beats me. Still waiting for him to condole with the family of that ten year old boy. http://www.mortalpoet.com/governor-imo-state-rochas-okorocha-god-peoples-servant/ |
