That's what we turned them to. Gods! When we make jokes about the quality of military slaps and defend them for abusing human rights we are actually endorsing and validating their poor madness.

Stop making jokes about military slaps being exceptional and brain resetting. Stop defending your servants when they abuse you. Stop hailing the soldiers. They only deserve pity because they are brainwashed.

Stop calling them to resolve disputes. Stop threatening your neighbors or debtors with the army. Stop seeing great pride in the military. Stop giving people tools to enslave you. This is madness but it is our making too.

I know what your story feels like. I still do but not with the disdain I got in that first 18 months without a job at home. If I could trade the mental depression I got then with some physical permanent pain, I'd done so. You wonder how that nice man you call dad became a... I moved out to help my sanity.

The thing is, this world is not fair. What you have here is random and chaotic. It is not even about how much you work or how smart you are or how much you pray(yes, look around) but random favor or connection. For me, sanity is my number one priority. In 100 years time all these will be no more.

One thing is certain. A set of advanced humans will take up this space called Nigeria in 100-200 years time and they will only laugh at our stupidity.
