I'm not sure the issue is from Grey? I believe it happened in the course of the conversion from USD to £ from Afternic. Or could it be from Grey? I doubt it.

Not at all but that's not an option. The reduction is happening because the transaction is from Afternic's USD to Grey's £, it's not happening within Grey. So, it's pointless reconverting to dollar and transferring out to Dom account.

Yes, I lived in the east for a year and in that time I travelled by road to nearby states frequently. There are no checkpoints from pole to pole. At least, I can confidently say, not in Enugu. Not in Abia. On certain major highways, there are indeed numerous checkpoints, especially around the areas where two State borders meet, but the only thing that happened was that civilians had to get down and walk a short distance and then continue.

What you people conveniently ignore is the fact that States like Benue and Kogi have just as many checkpoints.

Of course there are checkpoints from Pole-to-pole from Owerri to Portharcourt and Aba to Portharcourt. That's what the people are complaining about.
