His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari spoke with the Executive Governor of Kano State His Excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR on a phone call during a special prayer session for the President organized at the Government House Kano.

President Muhammadu Buhari thanked Dr Ganduje and the people of Kano state for the prayers and said that he has fully recovered. The unexpected ans unacheduled phone conversation happened live while the Governor was delivering his address at the event.

The event was well attended by eminent scholars from all sects within the state and other top government officials currently serving and former.

According to popular Port Harcourt Pastor and General Overseer of Salvation Ministries David Ibiyeomie,a woman who has been on wheelchair for 3weeks because of severe injury on her legs was healed at his crusade in Bayelsa.During the crusade,she dropped her wheelchair and started walking.

She was called up by Pastor David Ibiyeomie alongside her daughter.They could not help but danced to the admiration of the massive crowd at the crusade.

The Chief of Army Staff, Nigerian Army, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai along with the National Security Adviser, Major General Mohammed Babagana Monguno, (who is a member of the panel of discussants) and Director General National Intelligence Agency, Mr. Ayo Oke, were at the Munich Security Conference 2017 yesterday 18th February 2017. During the event, the Chief of Army Staff also met with other top military Commanders and Senior officers of diplomatic and the intelligence community. The keynote address was delivered by Afghanistan President, Ashraf Ghani Ahmadza.

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC) has placed a definite order for 5,000 pieces of specially designed conference bags to be produced in Aba.

The news was confirmed today by the Abia State Commissioner for Industries, Science and Technology, Chief Henry Ikoh.

Chief Ikoh told newsmen that this is the first in the series of collaborations between the state and several agencies of the federal government for the promotion of  MADE IN ABA GOODS.

He said that the vision of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu is by the end of 2018, all federal agencies and parastatals will be sourcing all their key materials from Aba. This policy will save foreign exchange for the country and boost the manufacturing capacity of Aba artisans which by extension will strengthen the economy of the state.
