PRESIDENT BUHARI LOSES NEPHEW IBRAHIM DAUDA

President Muhammadu Buhari's nephew Alhaji Ibrahim Dauda is dead.

Ibrahim Duada died in Daura, Katsina State, following a prolonged illness.

In a condolence message, President Buhari said the death has robbed the family and the Daura community of one of its finest gentlemen.

"I am deeply touched and devastated by the passing of yet another family member, a man who had demonstrated amazing kindness and honesty in all his dealings,” the President said.

He prayed God to forgive the soul of the deceased and reward his great and noble deeds with paradise.

The deceased is survived by a number of children, including Dauda Ibrahim, a Chief Administrative Officer in State House, Abuja,

Twitter Inc. put up a rule-violation notice on one of U.S. President Donald Trump’s most recent posts that included the phrase “when the looting starts, the shooting starts.”
Saying that the president’s comments about protests in Minneapolis were against its rules, the social media company has obscured the offending message on Trump’s profile with the following warning: “This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about glorifying violence. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible.”
As protests in Minneapolis over the death of a handcuffed African American man turned increasingly violent, the president used Twitter to assail Minneapolis’s mayor, Jacob Frey, as weak and said he had told Minnesota Governor Tim Walz that “the military is with him all the way.”
“We’ve taken action in the interest of preventing others from being inspired to commit violent acts,” Twitter said in a statement on its @TwitterComms account. It said the company had kept Trump’s tweet live “because it is important that the public still be able to see the Tweet given its relevance to ongoing matters of public importance.”

Apart from the cars passing thru Yobe state to Maiduguri and Chad, how many vehicles enter Yobe state daily?
Damaturu is one sleepy,civil service town.
Would've even been better if it was built in Potiskum which is a major trading route and transit point for goods and persons going from the north west to Taraba,Gombe,Benue,Cross Rivers,Akwa Ibom,etc.

The Delta State Police Command on Wednesday said that it had arrested nine suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra and recovered 13 police service rifles from them.

Parading the suspects in Asaba, the state capital, Hafiz Inuwa, the state commissioner of police, alleged that the men, who were arrested in April, were behind the numerous attacks on policemen in Asaba and environs.

Besides, police also said it discovered three undercover training grounds operated by the group at Ibusa, Okpanam, and Illah communities in the state.

He said, “Following recent series of attacks on policemen and snatching of service rifles, we have recorded great success with the arrest of these criminal elements.

“These principal suspects with strong links to the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra were arrested and they have made confessional statements.

“On April 5, at about 8.15pm while acting on a tip-off, police operatives swooped on Ugwunwosu camp of the IPOB members and recovered arms and ammunition snatched from policemen.

“Items recovered include, 10 AK-47 rifles with police service numbers and 10 magazines with 200 rounds of ammunition.

“Also, on April 24 one of the suspects, Christian Ndiogulu, led detectives to IPOB training camp in Ibusa, where another AK-47 rifle with 20 rounds of ammunition was recovered.

“On April 29, two other suspects in the group led police detectives to Idumogi Forest in Okpanam community where they buried stolen police rifles.

“The police recovered two AK-47 rifles, one smoke gun, one smoke canister, four AK-47 magazines, 212 rounds of ammunition, a set of Allen keys and a hand bag.”

He said that in all, a total of 13 police service rifles allegedly stolen during attacks on police patrol teams in the state were recovered.
