‘General’ Miguna Miguna furious, blocked by Raila Odinga
Lawyer Miguna Miguna has been blocked from accessing the Twitter page of Raila Odinga, the man he previously served as a political advisor.

The self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement General alleged that Odinga blocked him due to the details in his soon to be released book; Treason: The Case Against Tyrants and Renegades.

He added that the book whose release date is December 20, 2018, was going to be an “explosive revolutionary engagement”.

Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines are returning to TV and taking the Oprah route.

The two announced on Friday that they are returning to television with their own TV network, a partnership with Discovery, Inc. The news comes seven months their hit show Fixer Upper ended its five-season run on Discovery-owned HGTV, which allowed them to focus on their multiple businesses and their family; Amid their hiatus, Joanna gave birth to their fifth child, son Crew.

My name is Erik Meza, I’m 28 years old and I live in Dakar. A week ago I bought a new Porsche Panamera, as it’s six months since I worked at the car wash and barely had enough to feed my family. Now I’m going to tell you how a casual meeting changed my life and gave me the chance to earn $2000 a day.

I’ll tell you a little about myself. Poverty – that’s how I would describe my whole life. My parents lived in poverty, I never went to university. After finishing school, I went to work at a car wash. When I was young, my salary was sufficient for me. But when I got married and my daughter was born, I started getting into serious financial problems and permanent debt. One afternoon a new Porsche Panamera drove into the car wash. A young man stepped out of the car, he looked to be around 23 to 25. I was always amazed at how young people could earn so much money. I said to myself quietly: “What do you have to do to drive a car like that?” But he heard me and laughed. “Binary options,” – he said and went away.

Those two words changed my life forever. When I got home, I sat down at the computer and started looking for some mentions of binary options. And so, a month passed: during the day I would work at the car wash, and by night I would read dozens of forums to understand how to use binary options.

Binary options are a revolutionary way of earning in the financial markets, which is very straightforward, quick, and extremely lucrative. You probably know that financial markets are venues where currencies, such as the dollar, the euro, or the pound, are traded 24/7, i.e. with no breaks or days off whatsoever.

What you need to do is just open a free account on a binary options website (a broker website), then make a deposit, select an investment amount and predict where the price (for example, the US dollar exchange rate) will go in a few minutes or hours.

There are only two options available: High or Low. The trade may last for any time from 1 minute to 3 hours (the expiry time), and you may select any time frame in between. If your prediction is correct, your investment amount is nearly doubled; if it is wrong, well, you just lose your investment amount.

So, this will actually be your job if you follow my instructions. This is called ‘trading’, and a person who works in such a way is called a ‘trader’. As a trader, you can work at any time wherever you are, all you need is a computer with a stable internet connection. As you see, it’s pretty straightforward, even a 10-year-old would understand how it works!

The Norwegian Navy frigate was the biggest military exercise in NATO and was hit by a tanker.
On November 8th, the Norwegian navy frigate “Instar” collided with a tanker with a Maltese flag in the early morning, causing serious flooding At present, 8 people have been slightly injured in the accident. Because the warships are completely sunk at any time, 127 people on board have been evacuated, leaving only 10 people to deal with possible fuel leaks. Everybody has their own style and interests within photography and beyond it. My favorite subjects have always been landmarks and nature. However like most people, sometimes I'm experimenting in places where I have never been before. Sometimes these experiments result in an extraordinary picture. Like one of my best pictures.

It was almost ten years ago, on a cold winter evening. I was sitting before my computer, and reading news, while my girlfriend was taking a shower. The only light source was an old desk lamp. She came out from the bathroom naked, and sit right next to me. The lamp lighted her from a side angle, and the room was pretty cold, so she has goosebumps. I have looked at her and said: do not move! I have run to my camera and bring it back. The only command I have given her (besides not to move), to raise one of her arms and grab her other arm. I have made 2-3 exposures then put the memory card into the reader and downloaded the pictures. Surprisingly, the images were perfect: I didn't even have to correct exposure settings or anything else. The only modification I made was the black and white conversion.

After having the honor of serving my country as a diplomat for more than 30 years – 22 of them in eight different African countries – this week I have the opportunity for the first time to underscore U.S. interests in and commitment to the continent at the United Nations General Assembly.

In dozens of meetings and conversations in New York, I will highlight the importance of a continued and strong U.S.-Africa partnership that prioritizes the following goals:

Promoting stronger trade and commercial ties between the United States and Africa by establishing a level playing field across African markets;
Harnessing the potential of Africa’s tremendous youth bulge as a force for economic ingenuity and prosperity, which is a counter-narrative to violent extremism and despair;
Advancing peace and security through robust partnerships with African governments via bilateral and regional mechanisms; and
Most importantly, reemphasizing that the United States has an unwavering commitment to Africa.

Far from being mutually exclusive, these priorities are mutually reinforcing. Our failure or success depends on a “whole of government” approach in working with international partners, civil society, and the large African diaspora in the United States, towards a future which leads to peace, stability and prosperity – now and for future generations across Africa.

My experiences in both diplomacy and academia have convinced me that Africa truly is at a critical crossroads, and the direction it takes in the next few years will have a major impact – for good or ill – not only on the continent but across the world.

Everyone who follows trends in Africa knows that a demographic sea change is coming between now and 2050, when the continent will double its population to more than two billion and the percentage of Africans younger than 25 years of age will surpass 75 percent. These millions and millions of young Africans will have high aspirations for employment and quality of life – no different than young people anywhere in the world. With the proliferation of social media, African youth have a clear window into the countless possibilities that the world has to offer, but more importantly, can compare their own circumstances with those of their peers around the globe.

Africa’s leaders are beginning to understand that their most important challenge is to create meaningful and lasting jobs for their youth. And I plan to do all I can to help since the United States is the ideal partner for supporting Africans in building and strengthening democratic institutions and the type of business environments which attract investment that fosters economic growth.

Nigeria generates more than 32 million tons of solid waste annually, of which only 20-30% is collected and properly managed. Reckless disposal of garbage has led to blockage of sewers and drainage networks and choking of water bodies. The bulk of the environmental waste is generated by households and local industries including artisans and traders which causes litter to be prominent around communities.
Uche Okafor, Country Manager at Taxify said “for us, this exercise is much more than cleaning up in one day. Our intent is to raise awareness so more people can make an everyday effort to reduce waste in their daily lives. As a transportation service, we see the direct effects waste mismanagement has on the state of the environment especially the roads and we believe that seemingly little actions like this can lead to big changes for our environment.”

EFCC arraigns Leeroy Egebe for duping a Swiss national to the tune of $18,023(amedeo dante william alhassan davide)
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, 20 March, 2018, arraigned Leeroy Egebe, (alias Amedeo Dante William, Alhassan Davide) before Justice E. A. Obile of the Federal High Court, sitting in Warri, Delta State on an 8-count charge bordering on conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of $18,023.96 (Eighteen Thousand, Twenty- Three Hundred Dollars, Ninety- Six Cent).

Egebe’s, Amedeo dante William Alhassan davide troubles began when one Vivian Varotto-Guigoz, a citizen of Switzerland, petitoned the EFCC alleging that, she met one Amedeo William Dante (the defendant) who claimed to be an Italian living in the United Kingdom on a social dating site called “Badoo”. They became lovers, exchanging emotional messages and later cash.
She alleged that, on several occasions, between 12 May and 14 October, 2015, she wired a total sum of CHF 196,701,44 and EUR 15, 957.43 to different individuals in the United Kingdom, Canada and Nigeria at the request of Dante, for sundry reasons which she later discovered to be fraudulent.
The payments were allegedly made in five instalments: two into British accounts belonging to Amedeo William Dante and Dittimi Tamara-Finide while three were made into Nigerian accounts belonging to Alhassan Davide and Edin Obaro. The petitioner also alleged that the defendant was reaching her through some English, Canadian and Nigerian telephone numbers.
Count one of the charge read: ‘’that you Leeroy Egede (a. k. a) Amedeo Dante William, Alhassan Davide, one Tamara-Finide and Edin Obaro (now at large) sometime in May, 2015, at Udu, Warri, Delta State, within the jurisdiction of this honourable court did conspire among yourselves to commit felony to wit: obtaining money by false pretence, and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1 (3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006”.
Another count read: ‘’that you Leeroy Egede (a. k. a) Amedeo Dante William, Alhassan Davide, on or about the 20th day of April, 2015, at Udu, Warri, Delta State, within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, with intent to defraud, did obtain the sum of ($3, 564.66) Three Thousand , Five Hundred and Sixty Four dollars, Sixty – Six cent under false pretence from one Viviane Varotto-Guigos, a Swiss Nationale, which said sum was transferred to your Account domiciled at Diamond Bank Plc by one Tamara-Fiide Dittimi, a pretence you knew to be false, and thereby
committed an offence contrary to Section 1 (1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the same Act”.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges when they were read to him.
In view of his pleas, the prosecution counsel, M. T. Iko asked the court to fix a date for the commencement of trial. However, counsel to the defendant, K. D Alufe, made an oral application for bail for his client. He argued that the alleged offences were bailable and that the defendant did not jump an earlier administrative bail by the prosecution.
In his ruling, Justice Obile granted the defendant bail in the sum of N3, 000,000.00 (Three Million Naira), one surety in like sum. The surety must be a public servant in the service of Federal or Delta state government on grade level 12 and above. The defendant and the surety must depose to an affidavit of means among other conditions.
The matter was adjourned to 10 May, 2018 for trial, while the defendant was remanded in prison custody pending the perfection of his bail conditions.
