bukhety: The statement reads:
bachelor's degree with a minimum of second class upper or
Second Class lower or
Hnd upper or
Lower credit with a good masters degree.
From this statement, I guess it's hnd lower credit that needs masters. But I could be wrong. This is what I can deduce from the statement. You are right! |

a4olabisamuel: Well this direct to APL i see often, will they just pick an EH for example, without interviewing to know if he/she actually has the experience or not....will they just assume based on whatever was submitted online during application!...I don't seem to get it. My brother unfortunately you are not alone in not getting it right. The speculations been generated here is outrightly more than that of Nigerian Stock Exchange and that of America 's Newyork Wall Street. Therefore, so long as you are in it, then be ready enough to expect either : 3rd Test, Interview, Direct APL, Transfer of service and anything that has to do with everything. Hence, whatever class of speculation you belong, always feel free to drop it here. No one knows which one gonna work for us. My Pen is down. Let me attend to my cup of tea. |

cheifdaddy: A third test is possible but may be shelved if they get the number required from last test. When they access general performance of last test, they'd determine. Like I said before, NO INTERVIEW. They'd keep testing until that number is gotten. With any other criteria...particularly role applied for and general performance of people in each category. I don't know total candidates who applied, Testmi has that data. I know how many they need (I'm not permitted to say), but it's not so much. That's all I can say. As for quota system, I can't say. General performance in second test wasn't as great as first test however. #FingersCrossed
Salary is certainly not up to 800k or 600k not even for EH (maybe if you are management level). Upfront is sizeable (in millions), 32 days leave in a year, 13th month (same as monthly salary). Health, Car Loan and you qualify for housing loan after some years.
ES is particular about merit based recruitment as much as possible, letters may fly but difficult to rely on that only, you actually have to do well (by their standard) in tests, despite the way Testmi is running the tests sadly. Thanks for writing out of your tight schedule. In the meanwhile, do you have any idea as to when we may be done and dusted with the whole of this process |

On Saturday some will be to start test, while some won't... Then after the questions leak, they will then give another chance to those who could not take the test another chance to cheat... Then the next thing you will hear after waiting for 6 months again is , " congrats you have been invited to take test 3 e go shock you this time around. |

All this gra-gra no worth am at all.. My brother thanks so very much for your MATURED input. As per the appointment letter, there are numerous applicants here that need it as bad, I will forever appreciate them for being matured enough in their ability to control their emotions and anxiety for the application letter. My argument is how someone will just wake up and start attacking someone here without due respect and concideration. If you want to argue, then go ahead and argue till your last breath (argument is always by fact! not by childish insult here and there) , but you most not attack any body 's personality. In the end of it all, if you happened to be the reason why the current Forum got blocked out or deleted again, believe you me participants here will not forgive you. Be guided with concideration! |

I believe by now we should have figured out why the first earlier thread with about 200 pages was deleted, aborted, and discarded till eternity.
Just read between the lines and see how people here drive joy in trashing and making fool out of someone who took his time and source information that majority of us here are passionate about.
Look! What ever information you find here and you are not confortable with, then you have two (2) options as follows :
1-Politely seek for clarification . 2-Ignore and keep moving.
Futher more, if you are the type that is already fixated to insult gentlemen of honour, then, be guided and take proper note that this thread is exempted.

Gabicon20: Just a question outside d box Assuming d employer needs 10mechanical Engineers, 10chemical Engineers, 5medical Doctors, 5Accountants, 10secretaries and 10business Managers. D cut off is set at x% and out of 1000 applicants only 50chemical Engineers scored above x%, all mechanical Engineers, Doctors, Accountants, Secretaries and business managers that applied scored below x%. Do u think d 50chemical Engineers will be employed to do d job of d mechanical Engineers, Doctors, Accountants, secretaries and business managers? Let us give ourself a break off this cut off mark thing, d shortlist will depend on d vacancies available for specific roles(GT or EH), Disciplines, certifications(I don't have any so don't stone me) and of course state of origin to reflect federal character not excluding other factors that may be considered by the employer. so don't come up later to claim u scored 80 and didn't get d job while som1 with 60 did, maybe for ur discipline there are over 500persons that scored above 85 whereas d 60% guy has d highest score for his course, they won't employ u to do his job. pls let us avoid High BP and just pray nd prepare for d next stage while also making alternative plans in case it doesn't favour us. All of us here are already a family and I pray we all find favour. wish u success. You just earned my '5' stars 'cos you nailed it. |

Newcastle2023: One doesn't need to be a genius to have such a score in the EH test. All the person need to have is a combination of well rounded knowledge and excellent time management skills, especially for taking Computer Based Test.
If you take a close look at the test, you would agree that the main challenge to scoring up to 80% wasn't the difficulty of test questions but the time consuming nature of the test consisting of 9 passages with 32 questions and 69 other direct questions for a duration of 60 minutes in all.
For anyone that didn't cheat to have up to 80%, he or she must purposely reserve section 2 for the last. The remaining sections had a total of 81 questions which persons that have the attributes I mentioned earlier could finish just before the 50 minutes mark.
When you get to section 2 that had 5 passages and a total of 20 questions with a remaining time of less than 10 minutes, it would be extremely difficult to maintain the frame of mind that would aid your comprehension of the passages.
If you can maintain a relaxed frame of mind, you can comfortably answer the first 4 questions for passage 1. The remaining 16 questions for passages 2 to 5 can best be approached in my opinion by uniform blind guess. That is by picking a particular alphabet say 'B' for the remaining 16 questions.
If a well rounded candidate follow the above approach, then 90% is feasible since the main challenge wasn't the difficulty of the questions but the obvious inadequacy of time which most likely would affect your frame of mind during the test.
For all those that have taken their tests, the above analysis is now history. I believe the agency would most likely adopt the PTDF OSS Shortlisting and Interview Method by inviting a particular number of both GT and EH (Say 50 and 30) candidates from each State. And it won't be a surprise to me if we're scheduled for the oral interview in the 1st week of December, 2020. We pray God for the APL. I like this write up. More especially the last paragraph. If I may ask oh, about what % of the EH scored 50% and above..? Good morning all. |
