As you consider the above points, due take note of the fact that bag of cement is currently skyrocketing ; from about N4,500 to N5,500 as at last 2wks to N8,800 to N10,000 as at current.

Some red flags about this APL;

1. The initial mail was send by one Kemi Michael from this mail Mfountain42@yahoo.com

2. Search on LinkedIn shows Kemi Michael works as HR Manager with General Merchant Integrated Services Limited.

3. Recent profile views on LinkedIn for the said account is 90% by NCDMB Staff, possibly triggers by the mail going round.

4. Kemi Michael didn't use an official email for the mail send to people(a big company handling recruitment as this must have official mail).

5. Google search on General Merchant Integrated Services shows that the company once invited people for a scam recruitment.

6. General Merchant may have lay their hands on the recruitment data trying to defraud innocent Nigeria because the recruitment has linger for long.

7. The APL is been issued in Hotels in Abuja and Lagos with the guys issuing it hiding their face under face mask and telling the candidates not to every disclose it.

8. The recruitment is too secretive for a Government agency.

9. Lets still keep hope alive, but this are some of the due diligence carried out by me.

Curiosity pays; you will make a good researcher. Let's see how it goes.

Funny thread! We all want to see APLs shared to some fellow applicants on this thread even when we very much know that we would not be able to got them covered if gbese happened. There is nothing like faceless thread in this world again. I know what I am talking about.

And just like that the curtain falls on this recruitment. Started out so promising but ended very subtly and shrouded in so much secrecy. Well, however it was, merit or otherwise, congratulations to the very lucky FEW. I estimate that these guys may have not selected up to a 100 persons both (GT and EH) for this exercise. Certainly not the end of the road for anyone, we keep pushing even though the country throws different challenges at us on a daily. Lesson to be learnt, whatever you do in this country be the BEST of the BEST of the BEST. If you have no connection, it should be double of that. Everything in this country is highly competitive due to massive demands for limited supplies and the scary thing is that the population is growing continuously at a geometric rate. In the next 3-5 decades we may hit the 'billi' mark. Survival of the fittest y'all.

But you have missed the target on the population aspect of it. You should have rightly put it this way: "our country's resources at all angles are increasingly being wasted and miss manage by hell of looters ".

I think this is like more than 10 days back since we began to argue and pursue proves for the APL sharing - this is quiet baffling that we don't want to align our selves with reality.

My friend, the key to happiness in this context is assuming that APLs are or were shared - in this way, you will be able to congratulates the successful ones and glorified the lord for keeping you alive and healthy till this very moment of the recruitment. In this way, your maker and knower of unknown will surely reward your prayers and efforts for NCDMB with an equal opportunity elsewhere.

One more thing, a connect that has answered his name as connect or plug, will need no prove to follow up your matter at the tower.

Besides, even if it is you that got the APL, I will advise you not to go about sharing a copy of the APL if the logical process doesn't warrant so.

Finally, with the already increased number of departments and division at the tower and other ongoing complited projects by NCDMB, it will be difficult for one to assume that they will not call for more hands. Less NCDMB want to be robotic, which I doubt.

The only area I’m a bit confused is the section you said NCDMB is the only organization you know has recruited people without connection hope.

My reason is, any one currently working in NCDMB was referred by someone or transfer of service from his or her organization to NCDMB because there has never been open recruitment.

The only time I will agree with your last paragraph is when this present recruitment is concluded and lest know the % of less connected people that will secure the APL.

Some of us are too self absorbed within the circle of our cage shell. Your last paragraph has proven that. Pls be aware that no body is posting updates here just because he/she want us to agree with him/her . Some of us just like going into unnecessary debate as if it does add value to our CV.

Hello big bro. I understand that this is what you heard from the lips of the owner.

However, the idea that some Northern/Southern /Eastern elites are putting the more than 2 years old recruitment on hold does not fit in any longer. This idea should be well questioned and outrightly debunked.

Think of it this way: How many numbers of fresh recruitment and replacement were initiated and completed within the 2 years and about 2 months of NCDMB's recruitment. Yet NCDMB is yet to be done with theirs.

Besides, the so call pressure from the North is very much minimal. It will shock you to know that up till now, NCDMB is not that popular in the North. In fact, the very few people that know about it is as result of this recruitment.

Majority of us have given up already, and they have every reason to. In my own case I will keep watching till the last quarter of the year (even though ko easy rara).

I do respect your opinion but I beg to differ on the bolded. If Mele Kyari knew he would be opting for the contract staff rather than the EH applicants then he should have truncated the exercise at the interview stage. I was invited for the interview and I was lucky enough to be schedule for Saturday(some EHs were scheduled during work days), however, I had to travel on Friday evening to Abuja after work. I expended over 100k on accommodation and transportation just to go for the interview and return back. At the end, we did not even get a snippet of feedback on the outcome of the interview. If that is not ineptitude, I wonder what is. Some people even came from outside the country for the interview, so you can imagine how much expenses they must have borne. Truth is most of the recruitment into Federal government agencies especially the ones that pay above average income are highly politicized and this make it extremely difficult to complete transparently. In fact, I would not be surprised(though I genuinely wish it to be completed) if this NCDMB tow the same line.

I agree with you boss! I understand your pain and it is most unfortunate. Meanwhile, may NCDMB round it up soon and may we be part of it.

Recall that the very said recruitment was initiated by one GMD but concluded by another different GMD and this is exactly where the issue is.
