Career / To Be A Millioniare Think Like One by saturnjay(m): 4:42pm On Apr 01, 2009
There used to be a comedy programme on television a while back called Bassey and Company, in which the lead actor was fond of saying ‘To be a millionaire, think like a millionaire!’ In those days, I was rather too young to realise the truth in that statement, but times and tide have taught me better.

So now, I realise that as a man thinketh, so he is, and you cannot hope to be a wealthy man if you harbour a poverty mentality.

Praize Club
And so it was that when I was asked to speak on the ‘Millionaire Mindset’ at a seminar organised by the Praize Club at the Olabisi Onabanjo University on August 30, last year, I took a cue from Biblical injunction on the subject matter mixed with the experiences life had handed me.

The millionaire mindset
The pertinent question on our minds at the seminar was, ‘What is the major difference between the rich and the poor?’. Or in other words, ‘What is responsible for some being rich and some being poor?’ And the answer I proffered was this: ‘The difference lies in how they think and what they do. The difference is in the mindset; millionaires have a wealth mentality, while the poor have a poverty mentality.

Like the iceberg, you need to affect the underlying and more important ‘subconscious’ before your ‘thinking’ and actions can be attuned to that of the millionaire, and then you can hope to become one.

Millionaires and billionaires think and act remarkably differently from the poor. How then do millionaires think and what do they do that makes them so different?

•Money
Poor people see money as a means to get things, millionaires think of money as a tool to get more money.

•Investing
Poor people see investing as boring and cumbersome or, at best, as something that must be endured to have just enough for retirement, millionaires think of investing as an exciting way of getting into an abundance

•Jobs
The poor think of jobs and better jobs as a means of getting rich; millionaires see jobs as a launching pad to get seed money to invest. I bet if Aliko Dangote lost all his money today, getting a great job wouldn’t be his priority. The poor work for their money, the rich make their money work for them.

•Risks
The poor don’t take risks because they are afraid they would fail; the rich think if they don’t take risk, they have already failed. God directs our steps, not our sitting. And though the harbour is the safest place for ships, ships were not made for harbours.

•Wisdom in books, tapes and CDs
While the poor waste precious time on gossip and soap operas, the rich learn afresh and consolidate their knowledge by reading/listening to at least two books/electronic recordings in a month on successful achievement and wealth management.

While the poor fills his mind with gossip columns of papers and magazines, the rich gets increasingly informed about wealth from business write-ups. The poor think such materials are a last resort to fixing a problem; the rich see them as the start to not having a problem.

•Time
The poor care very little about how their time is spent – they waste time and let other time wasters steal their time, the rich see their time as their most valuable asset.

The rich will rather have his money stolen by thieves than his time stolen by time wasters. The rich have a niche and specialise, thus ‘outsourcing’ their weak areas rather than do every little chore themselves.

•Problems
The poor get easily discouraged with problems and setbacks, but the rich fall seven times and rise eight times, and that is why they are rich.
Bottom line

If we change our mindsets to one of a wealth mentality rather than poverty mentality, wealth naturally gravitates towards us and our lives become transformed. Then and only then can we have any hope of making money ‘effortlessly’.

According to Williams James, the greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives

God does not change situations; rather He changes people and uses the transformed people to change situations - David Benenoch

I’ll resurect after 3 days
•Dead pastor boasted
•Devotees keep body in church for 5 days
•Awaiting in prayer
Where is Sathya Sai Baba, a controversial South Indian guru described as a godman and a miracle worker by his followers? In 1953, Sai Baba was said to have raised Mr. Radhakrishna, who had been dead for three days.
While there was weeping and wailing in the house, Sai Baba went to the room and closed the door after him. Few minutes later, he opened the door, called the people back in, and they saw Radhakrishna sitting calm on bed, and smiling.
Turning to the wife, Baba said, "I have given your husband back to you. Now, give him a hot drink."
But if the Indian guru cannot be reached, let Pastor Aity Dennis-Inyang, the Akwa Ibom- born gospel musician come to the rescue!
Having claimed to have raised a month-old baby from death through her music, the gospel artiste is needed urgently for another miracle in Lagos. May be, she would wake the general overseer of The World Revival Ministries, a.k.a Power and Prophetic Church, thereby restoring the hope of his followers.
Since Tuesday, March 10, members of the church, located at 30, Alubarika Street, Ijeshatedo, Lagos, were thrown into confusion over the death of their leader, Prophet Chibundu Ezenwani. But while the news filtered around the streets that he was dead, his devotees debunked such rumour, believing he was only sleeping.
Instead, they kept him in the church, and embarked on marathon prayers, expecting another resurrection. But one week after, nothing happened. Eventually when it dawned on them that he could not get up, they allegedly took him to a mortuary on Tuesday.
Saturday Champion gathered that the man had boasted few days earlier, during a Sunday service, that he would rise again after three days. In fact, that Sunday was said to be his last appearance in the church as he fell ill after that.
Source said that he was later rushed to a private hospital in Lagos. But when the situation worsened, he was referred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), where he later gave up the ghost, that Tuesday.
It was further gathered that when the news was broken, the devotees stormed the teaching hospital that evening, and almost turned the place to a church, as they prayed, expecting him to wake.
Still not convinced that he was dead, they brought him back to the church on Friday, March 13 and continued the prayer, instead of putting him in a mortuary.
When Saturday Champion visited the church premises last Saturday, some of the church members were seen in groups, talking in hush tones, while others were busy praying inside the church. The church entrance was always locked and whoever among them that intended to go inside had to knock first. There was always someone who would open the gate, but only for members.
Some hours later, an ambulance vehicle arrived and about three men came out of it. After waiting for over an hour, those men started complaining that their time was being wasted by the church. After a while, they entered the vehicle and left angrily, as the church was not ready at that time to take the corpse to mortuary. So they continued praying.
Eager to confirm the incident, after inquiring from the people on the street, our Correspondent decided to participate in last Sunday’s worship at the church, as a newcomer.
A relatively small church with a congregation of about 100 people, it was clear that the church is just a growing one, and in dire need of modern architectural design, even though it is the headquarters. But the nature of worship is typical of today’s Pentecostal churches.
The topic of the day’s sermon was "The Challenge of Receiving a Spectacular Miracle." And so the charismatic preacher of the day kept citing the Bible quotations as the congregation flipped through the pages of the Holy Book.
Reading Acts 12:5, he explained: "The church was praying, Satan cannot stop the church of God. Peter was not holier than you. Whatever is keeping the servant of God, the chains are falling off. It is not the size of your faith; it is your persistence in prayer. He must come back. If the outside world hears it, they will say we are mad. Our miracle will soon happen…" The congregation answered with a thunderous AMEN!
Again, citing another story of the widow of Nain in Luke 7:11, whose only son was raised from death by Jesus Christ, the preacher told the congregation not to lose hope, but believe that their general overseer would come back to life.
But in spite of the preaching, the general mood among the congregation was that of despair.
It was time for praises and so the church came alive. The building quaked as the congregation went frenzy with praises and worship. The preacher continued to remind them of the experience of the wall of Jericho that collapsed through praises, saying their daddy would get up.
Later, all the members of the congregation were called to the front of the altar for prayer. Members were asked to raise their right hands to heaven and invoke the spirit of Prophet Chibundu back into his body. The prayer went thus: "Daddy, come back. You can’t leave your children like this. Please come back, we still need you to revive the world."
At a time, everybody was asked to kneel and continue crying to God for the general overseer to come back. The experience would remind one of the Biblical incident of Mount Carmel, when Prophet Elijah and prophets of Baal had a contest.
The remains of the general overseer, was not seen in the church during the worship, but our correspondent gathered that he was kept in the church office. Some members jealously guarded the entrance to the office, which was closed throughout the time of worship.
Though our Correspondent could not stay till the end of the very lengthy service, a source said the congregation later came out rejoicing after the service, probably convinced that their dead GO would rise again.
Early morning on Monday, it was rumoured that the man had shown signs of coming back to life. News again filtered to the streets. When Saturday Champion rushed to the place, some church members were seen in groups, probably discussing the fate of their leader. The gate was locked while prayers were being said inside the church.
But eventually, it was learnt that Ezenwani’s church members finally succumbed and took his corpse to an undisclosed mortuary, Tuesday night, after all hope of rising again was lost.
Surprisingly, the church gate, which was usually closed, was wide open when Saturday Champion visited the place on Wednesday. Some residents however confirmed the removal of the corpse that night, but could not tell where it was taken to.
As at the time of going to press, there were still lots of controversies around the man who left behind his wife and four children.
While some were saying that he probably must have caused his death, others, mainly his devotees, were yet to believe that he is actually dead.
The questions that had stuck to every lip around that vicinity are: what must have caused the death of the man who was said to be in his late thirties and who was full of life some days ago? What was actually the mission of some white men said to have paid a visit to the church earlier before the incident? How did the man know he was going to die and why did he tell his devotees that he would rise again after three days?
Too many questions waiting to be answered, perhaps by events of the coming days.

mmababy! mmababy!! mmababy!!! how times did i called you, ? Please don't tell her anything for these reasons:

1. She is going to deny because you didn't catch her red-handed and she knows is a filthy thing to do in a marriage, she knows the implications more than you do, even she would deny if her husband ask her that kind of a thing not to talk of you.

2. You can never know what is happening in a marriage except you that peron, she has a reason for doing it, everything is done for a reason and personally i am blaming the husband. I always blame the husband when the wife is flirting around, you know why, i am married and i will tell you, it is either she is adulterating in revenge for what her husband is doing with other people's woman or the husband is not committed to her/children/home/family or the husband is not satisfaying her sexually or the husband is not her best friend or the husband is not meeting up with his financial responsibility or the husband and he wife are not in love.

3. Marriage treats individual individually

The husband is to be blamed, please get back to me on these issues, find out any of the traces for the second reason from the husband sides and i will tell you how to help her without confronting her, i will tell you how to make her feel guilty and confess to you.

Religion / Pastor Adeboye: Buying A Plane To See God by saturnjay(m): 6:53pm On Mar 19, 2009
Have you heard the news? That our pastor, Pastor Adeboye, has acquired a brand new aircraft for N4 billion? Jesus is a mighty God, a mighty God, Jesus is a m, "

"Sharaap! Are you mad? So what business of mine is that? Now you see why I am not a Christian, and certainly cannot be your kind of mumu Christian. You are hungry and jobless and you are singing praises to Jesus that your bishop has gone to buy an aircraft for 4 billion naira! I am sorry for you. Please, get out of my sight."

"Na bad belle dey worry you. Can't you see the glory of God in that? A Gulfstream 4XP aircraft, whao, that's a pleasure ride, man, I mean a pleasure fly. Our pastor is the first to buy that kind of aircraft and he didn't even borrow a kobo to buy it. Cash down. I told you, our Redeemed Christian Church of God is the biggest and best church in the world, and buying this plane has just confirmed it, he has beaten others to it. We lead; others follow. Hallelujah!"

(Shaking his head) "Are you sure you're well? So, tell me, where did your pastor get N4billion from? With that kind of money, do you know what industry he can set up to provide employment for thousands, the likes of you jobless graduates who throng his churches in droves seeking the "salvation" of a job? In a land full of poverty and deprivation, a "man of God" goes ahead collecting monies from the poor and rich, promising them the kingdom of God, and going ahead to buy such luxury aircraft. Psshhh!"

"What you fail to know in your ignorance is that that money is not just our collections, not just our tithes and offerings, it is the blessing of God. How is it possible to collect N4billion just like that if God did not bless it? It is like the miracle of the five fish and two loaves with which Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour fed five thousand people. These things are not possible except through God. Look at all the wonders that are happening to us, look at the size of our churches, look at our university, everything. And we can still buy a N4billion aircraft and you think that is done by man? You are ignorant. May God open your eyes and let you see His wonders."

"O, I see! You guys collected N4,000 and your pastor performed Jesus miracle, prayed on it and it turned to N4billion! I wonder where is the taxman. About time religion stops being the excuse for not paying taxes. I am ignorant, ehn? Well, I would rather remain so than belong to your "enlightened" group."

"So, what's your gripe, anyway? What's an ordinary N4billion aircraft when even smaller boys own bigger planes in America, and even here in Nigeria? After all, Bishop Oyedepo of Winners Chapel, also has an aircraft. But ours has beaten his own."

"So, it's a case of 'my Mercedes is bigger than yours'? Hehehe."

"Stay there. If only you know how busy our pastor is and the magnitude of the evangelism he can achieve by being able to fly all over the world at short notice and convert people and expand our size, then you wouldn't be saying the nonsense you are saying. With that plane, now you have to know that no matter the money you bring to God through our church, you know our pastor is bigger than that. You bow."

"Hmmmmm, I see. But tell me, when will you get a job, now that your bishop has bought this plane?"

"Leave that alone. What you don't know is that in the same way that God has been faithful to Bishop Adeboye and granted him his wish for this plane, so will He be faithful to the rest of us and grant our wishes. Even with this plane, how do you know it wouldn't be a means for our bishop to be able to carry our supplications to God in heaven faster?"

"O, I see. You must be right. The plane flies in the sky, and heaven is in the sky, sebi? So your pastor will literally fly in his new plane to take your supplications to God? O pari o!"

"The fool says in his heart, there is no God. Please stop being a fool. I want you in paradise with me."

"I pass. Your pastor should be enough company there."

"So, what about the N100 I asked for? I'm really hungry, man."

"N100? Hundred naira ko, hundred kobo ni. Adeboye no dey there?"

I have read the Bible and i even have a copy at home with me, i was not afraid reading the Bible, Please pick a copy of the Holy Quran and read the chapter titled "The Mary" Please do and you will experience something different in you. There are King James versionof Bible, and various other versions. Are you aware that you and the Jehovah witness, Seven days adventist and catholic churh goers don't read the same Bible. They are variants, research these, why!!!!. Please research if there various versions of the Holy Quran and ge across to me this night.
The Holy Bible has been adulterated by the people of the book in the past, that's why they are variations in the Bible as a book.
Will you not think?

David, please pick a copy of the Holy Quran and read and you would be convinced. We acknowledge the prophethood of Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, David, Jonah, Noah, Adam, Abraham, Solomon, John the baptist, etc and we make no distinction between them. Why are you people of the book denying Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He is the last and the seal of the prophethood. He brought Islam via divine guidance from God through the acrh Angel Gabriel (AS). Please learn about Islam with open mind before the reality occur to you, May God guide you David. Amin.

Hello. Muhammad did not succumb to poison. Let me educate you. The reference you gave happened in Kaibar, arabian peninsula when muslims conquered the jews there, a jewish woman poisoned a roasted calf that was meant for the muslims to eat. A muslim man ate it and die instantly, Muhammad (SAW) ate a bit of it and spat it away, and told the companions that the meat was poisoned.
The jewish woman was summoned and she confessed that she poisoned it deliberately to ascertianed the prophethood of Muhammad (SAW), that if He is a false Prophet she would get rid of him, otherwise she would know He is a true prophet. Muhammad detected it before the death of the other companion and He survived long after it. He afterward ordered that the woman should be let to go free. Muhammad (SAW) never avenged any wrong doings done to him except the ones that affect the the right of Allah and the message and He was instructed to treat/correct/fight against the wrongdoings and was always cautioned not to be excessive. Muhammad never fought a war except with the command of Allah. He was always inspired and He never did a thing but with guidance from AllAh (SWT).
These confirm the true Prophethood of the Messenger of Allah.

Islam for Muslims / Re: The Truth About Jesus by saturnjay(m): 6:48pm On Jan 24, 2009
Pastro AIO, the spirit of truth is Prophet Muhammad. The Holy Quran was revealed to him via "ruuh qudus" (Angel Gabriel), who is a spirit from God. Muhammad was a mortal and it is appointed that every soul must have a taste of death. Jesus is mentioned in the Holy Quran just like Moses,Jonah,David,Solomon,Noah,Adam and so on. Please take a copy of the Quran and read.
Angel Gabriel revealed the Quran to Holy Prophet Muhammad and he never travelled out of the arabian peninsula, he never studied the Torah and the Bible, he was an illiterate and Holy Quran was revealed to him confriming what was in the Torah and Bible and correcting most things/texts that has been manipulated and adultearted in the Torah and the Bible by the jews and others.
Please wake up!
I am ready to give you more facts if you are interested.
May Allah guide you.
Amin.

I believe cheating those not have anything to do with how handsome a man is but the amount of male sex hormones in some men, it is not quite easy for these men, evenif they don't want to cheat on their spouses.

The way out is for them to discipline and control their sex feelings, some men can hardly have sex with their spouse not to talk of cheating. So, the cheaters should just zip-up and control themselves, because sexual power without control is nothing,
