Three questions: How does a buyer ensure he/she gets the correct custom papers? What services do u offer people who need to buy cars from Cotonou? How do u charge for your services? percentage-based or a flat fee? |

Hi Larry, apart from the issue of custom officials seizing cars from Cotonou because custom duties were not paid on them, are there any other reasons why they will seize cars from there? Someone told me of a car (2005) seized from one his friends even though the guy had custom papers, he had to buy it back from them for 400k because they had auctioned it to one of them. Is this possible by any chance? |
