TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Saysay01: 1:56pm On Sep 06, 2019
Ask if they allow someone with Euro account. That is the only account I have with them (I also opened access Bank just for Blocked funds)
Barth88:
Please can anyone be of help? I was gonna open a dorm account with access bank and they asked that I provide two references/referees with a current account especially with access bank, I have struggled so far with it, I’ll appreciate any help in this regard.
Danke schon

Slightly different cause it should be from your parent (Your parent doing the affidavit on your behalf).
UbiPetrus:
Guys, is the age declaration for interview at the embassy different from the everyday age declaration?

Please, treat as urgent.
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Saysay01: 11:58am On Sep 06, 2019
Hi,
sorry for the stress.
1) Application letter can be gotten from the German website same with Declaration form.
3)Age declaration is Birth certificate or Affidaffit
4)Motivational letter: Why do you want to study your course in Germany (Finish work here)
5) Normal everyday CV
6) Document older than 5 Years (Drivers license, National Card, Baptisimal card and the likes
7) I think you should. AM tend to come faster
CruiseControl:
Guys, this may sound stuppid. I mean so stuppid. But you people should understand. Am running this stuff with my work together and most times, I am busy from 6 am till 9 pm. Coming back, am so

[b](1) Application form

(2) Declaration form

(3) Age Declaration

(4) Motivation letter

(5) CV (Is it my normal CV?)

(6) Biographic old data

(7) Proof of funding (Must I fund before Interview?)

Please a good Samaritan should help and break this down for me into specifics. I am grateful.

Congratulations on your successful interview, I say successful because for the VO to ask you to fund asap means you passed the first stage, it is now left for the alien office to decide. IN MY OPINION, I think you should fund.
sayodele90:
Good morning guys, so finally had my interview yesterday and it went really well, i must say all that's been said about the dreaded Paulinus were true although thanks to this platform, i didn't have any problems with him. My interview was with the dreadlocks lady and I can confess that she's quite thorough but then thanks to you guys again, i was prepared for her...she even joked that I'll pay her cos i bear the same first name with her.
My question now is during the whole process, she asked me to write down the email and FUND ASAP then send confirmation of payment to the mail, however what's confusing me is has the process changed cos from what I've gathered, majority prefer to get their acceptance mail before funding.
Pls correct me if I'm wrong n better yet explain better to me.
Thanks

That was what happened to me.

kashman411:
thank u so much I really appreciate. pls like how much is their charge per transaction?
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Saysay01: 1:57pm On Sep 02, 2019
Please let us cultivate the habit of reading through posts before asking questions that has already been answered severally.

1) Access takes 2-3 days( I funded Fri and I received confirmation on Tuesday)

2) No, split the money into 2 and pay some the next day (To avoid them flagging your account for fraud or unusual transaction)

3)A different charge for every transaction

Good Afternoon all. Congratulations on AL,AD,AM and Visa.

For people submitting their documents (After receiving AM),

*you need to put all required document in a brown envelope* and address it properly. Paulinus sent over 4 people to get new envelopes on Tuesday and everyone know how expensive things are at the embassy.

The proper way to address the envelope is by writing From: (Put your name and address) at the Top left Corner of the envelope and writing To: (Visa section, Germany embassy address) at the centre of the envelope.

To all expecting AM's, I wish you God's Best.

I funded before the interview, I think topping up before AM/Visa depends on different City. Nobody from my city received any mail asking for top up but we all have it at the back of our mind to top up when we get there.
Temiodeyemi:
Congrats
Please did you fund before interview and did they ask you to top up in your AM

It would be nice to see someone try.
fibe:
Please Can I use access mobile app to do transfer to my blocked account?
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Saysay01: 2:10pm On Aug 23, 2019
Go to the nearest Access bank and open dom account (Euro). use access people banking with access to stand as reference (2 people). it takes a day or two to verify. once it is verified, take aboki to Bank, he will pay the euro to the cashier(not you). Access will credit your account, once you get alert, transfer the Naira to the account. you will then transfer from Access to Fintiba.
akinbharbs:
Please someone should help!!!!
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Saysay01: 8:50pm On Aug 22, 2019
Sorry about that.
For next time, transactions like this should be done in head office. Head office guys have more information and you tend to get good services.
johnaolaniran:
Yeah. It's clearer and i can confirm what you stated. Saw it on their site this morning. They will charge 0.5% on my withdrawal. But i don't think i have a choice as time is not on my side. My account officer also misled me to deposit more than 9000 euros that day. But it has happened and i need to move on because time no dey.
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Saysay01: 8:36pm On Aug 22, 2019
Hi,
So sorry about the stress you are going through. You have to make the payment in 2 tranches cause the limit is 10,000 Euro per day. Also, yes Fintiba allows more than a transaction.quote author=johnaolaniran post=81504340]Thank you for your reply. I just got a message from access bank now that my attempt to transfer wasn't successful because the euro i deposited into my dorm account at once was more than 10,000 dollars equivalent (max i can deposit in a day is 10,000 dollar equivalent). So confused right now because i don't know what to do. Probably i should go and withdraw everything (if it will be possible) and divide it into two to pay it into the account in 2 different days. And if i decide to do that is there any assurance my transfer to fitinba after dat willl be successful.
Hi,
I was suppose to use GTBank cause the money was in my GT account. I took aboki to the bank and was filling necessary form when the International transaction guy notified me that I can only pay in a total of 1000 Euro weekly.I had to rush and open access Bank.
Please, who has experience funding with GTBANK? I only use GTBank or do I have to open with access bank?
