Holmes007: No need to write another letter for the submission of fixed deposit. The letter of sponsorship alone should entail all source(s) of funding.

But, since u r not sponsoring urself, ur sponsor should provide an afidavit of sponsorship along with d letter of sponsorship/reference letter either u r submitting only SOA or SOA and fixed deposit.

Note: u can submit one out of d two or preferably submit both the letter of sponsorship and the afidavit.

There is a checklist for applicants who apply for study permit outside Canada. Kindly go through this checklist thoroughly.

Thanks! What am asking is about the letter of sponsorship you are taking about when presenting a fixed depoist. If the sponsor is your parent, and has a fixed depoist provided to show financial strenght; will he write a different letter to state it added with the Soa for presentation to the VO!

@ Holomes n other gurus in the house, re u telling me dat a letter of sponsorship must be incluided ( only for fixed deposit).despite it is stated on the Soa of the sponsor. Thanks!
