The outbreak of Cholera has become rampant people, Please don't eat outside food like Pineapple,Mango,Bread,Suya & all those fruits mallams sell too....Abt 50 cases of death by cholera was reported @ General hospital in Isolo. I don't usually Post topics like this on nairaland but please people, My friend mon died today because of Cholera. Please be careful, If u have symptoms like vomiting or going to the toilet excessively please go to the Doctor at once.

cjudy: For all android users complaining of data or mb on their phone, go and download android firewall from Google play or download avg antivirus it has a firewall. you need root access once u are done, open d firewall and mark d applications you want to accept network d the moment and then apply rules. that is all. I used 10mb on my own android HTC sensation for 7days without downloading. I even use 20naira to brose for at lease 10hours. I Used uc browser with appearance low. now am not wasting data.

BlackBerry was slated to launch
BBM for Android and iOS last
weekend. But as if the Waterloo-
based smartphone pioneer
hasn't faced enough challenges
recently, its launch was a
massive flop.
"Last week, an unreleased, older
version of the BBM for Android
app was posted on numerous
file sharing sites. This older
version resulted in volumes of
data traffic orders of magnitude
higher than normal for each
active user and impacted the
system in abnormal ways,"
Andrew Bocking, the executive
vice president of BBM, explained
of the mishap on BlackBerry's
blog. "The version we were
planning to release on Saturday
addressed these issues, however
we could not block users of the
unreleased version if we went
ahead with the launch."
Despite this fail—which has yet
to be resolved—BlackBerry still
decided to show off BBM for
Desktop during its BlackBerry
Jam Asia 2013. In Hong Kong,
Chris Smith, VP of Application
Platform at BlackBerry,
demonstrated on a Windows PC
what BBM will look like for the
desktop.
The brief demo was not
accompanied with any sort of
release date.
It's also been widely rumoured
that a BBM for Mac app is also in
the works; again, however,
details remain scarce.

A blind British mom says her
guide dog pushed her 1-year-old
son's stroller out of the path of an
oncoming car that hit here and
sent her flying.
Jessica Cowley told The Daily
Telegraph her black Labrador
retriever, Jet, broke free from her
and shoved the stroller with
young Jacob Cowley out of the
way of the car.
"She is a strong dog and she
pulled out of my hand and actually
pushed the pram out of the way,"
Cowley said.
The newspaper said it appeared
the car that hit Crowley had been
struck by another car and pushed
into her path as she was crossing
the entrance to a parking lot near
her Lancashire home.
Even though Crowley was hit by
the car, she praised her canine
companion for making the right
move.
"Even while I was lying face down
on the ground, I was happy to
know Jacob was safe," she said.
