Lol. These folks are just irritants who double up as uncivilised folks with innate victim mentality.

They had at least five years under GEJ to fix whatever wrong or Yoruba conspiracy against them. However, rather than do that, it was all about nepotism, excessive looting, and putting themselves in positions that can easily be reversed. These folks are just myopic and confused with no long term plan on what they want. And they do everything based on emotional impulses - for short term bragging rights.

The Lekki seaport is on track - and that will be completed, before they fix any port in that region. Then watch them start crying again about Yoruba monopoly. Anyway, the cries just started - you lot should brace-up for more now that they lost out in the power-tussle (struggle) cos it will never stop.

Regardless, if giving them a port (you have to spoon-feed them to shut them up, cos they don't have the smart to build anything by themselves) will help reduce the population of Lagos, I'd wager that the FG should do that. Lagos doesn't even need to be the port-hub of Nigeria to thrive. That's too much load on one city. Most of the major cities in the world don't do ports, despite the fact that they're on the coast.

Lagos should needs to focus on being the financial district, with a strong Lagos Stock Exchange, independent of the Nigerian one (if they don't want to scrap it) - and watch money start flowing in. London for example thrives on real estate and banking. Ditto New York and most of the other big cities.
