my guy u be real clown sha!
So nigerian census dat has no provision for etnicity iswot ur using as ur yardstick??
So if southeast that is almost 100percent ibos can acct for 12percent of total population,..juxtapose that with the fact that over 70percent of ibo population are outside of the southeast,...I'd leave u to do some fast thinking.
I agree that ibos in nigeria are by far more than yorubas.
I rest case
And pls stop ds stubborn argument,u be dwarf sef? U don't knw how clownish u sound disputing ibo population in nigeria
Ibo and hausas wen be like air for nigeria,...evrywia u go grin

edo state lies between igboland and yorubaland,..well in the same country. Infact edo state has borders with igbo and yorubalands. How can u now start feeling acstasic abt ur comic analogy with countries across continents, infact 3 seperate continents!

Says a lot about population of ibos if they can saturate the southeast and south, while making impressive shows in the north and evn southwest,...while yorubas are hardly found outside of the southwest!

I thot I warned u just now 2 stop dragging me in2 this dick contest, but u won't listen. U hav to drag me 2 ur level isn't it?
Where did u get that from?
So in what region are Kwara and Kogi states

Go to Jos, Kaduna, Niger states etc and the population of Yorubas there.
In the last census the SE was the least populated of all the geopolitical zones of Nigeria, accounting for only 11.7% of National population, while Igbos as a whole are estimated to be no less than 18% of the country. Where exactly do you think the remaining 7% of them are , if not spread out over the rest of the country?

The SW on the other hand was about 20% of Nigeria, even with the massive undercounting of Lagos.

you keep proving ur dumbness at every corner,...using lebanese and brazilians that are continents apart in an anology, while even using an entirely different continent (africa) 2 butress ur comical point. We talking about 2 tribes in nigeria, within nigeria ...u making comic analogies
Abeg swerve,...moreover am not here 2 measure yoruba and igbo dicks' ..u guys r doin a swell job of it,...2 our general amusement on ds forum
you are indeed not as smart as I previously assumed of you.

Yorubas and Igbos, two ethnic groups in Nigeria..... comparing the presence of both in Edo state which both are not indigenous to.
Lebanese and Brazilians, two Nationalities of the world, comparing their presence in West Africa, a region both are not indigenous to, says nothing about the population of both, That only tells you which of both groups is more spread out.
It is a perfect analogy if you ask me.

Even stooping down to your level of reasoning, do you see as much Hausas as Yorubas in Benin? Does that tell you anything about the population of both groups? Pls don't quote me again.... the stupidity is too much for me to bear.

Nairaland has indeed become a big Negative influence and disappointment on so many levels.

* Promoting and fanning the flames of ethnic chauvinism and bigotry in Nigeria
* Promoting Animal cruelty as well as the hunting, killing and extinction of Nigerian wildlife
* Promoting and encouraging the loose immoral lifestyles of "CeleYeyebrities"

In my own opinion, Nairaland needs to re-evaluate its priorities and contribute more meaningfully to our society.
I know an angry mod might delete this comment, and ban me for speaking my mind.... Yes, it has gotten that bad.

ur the dumb one here mister if u don't get my drift. I tend to see igbos evrywhere I go in my state and beyond,..same cannot be said about yorubas
Yes, and we see lebanese in most countries of the West Africa doing trading, does that mean Lebanese are more than Brazilians who you don't see that much in Africa? Because some groups are more spread out than others in particular areas does not mean they are more, ok... that is just common sense to even a child.

Now you see why I called your comment dumb.

Lol... this one probably thinks Ogudu is Oguta.
You know what State of Origin that you put on all your official documents, and it sure wasn't Lagos...Lmao.
The attitude of igbos once they are given an opportunity in a place, is the reason why the "state of residence" thing will never become a reality in Nigeria.

Engineer Peter Nkedishuka Okonji the new General Manager of the lagos State Electricity Board is an igbo man, and Pastor Ben Akabueze is currently the Lagos Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, is Assistant Pastor-in-charge of RCCG Lagos Province 4, and Pastor of the King’s Court Parish, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Both men are full time igbomen.

LAGOS IS PURELY A NO-MAN'S LAND

QED
and the first Mayor of Enugu was a pure Fulani Bororo......
The chicken of fulanis have come home to roost. To claim back their ancestral land.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B4fyXhEIIAAF72A.jpg

See stupiid logic.
Now I see how Awolowo was right to have chased Zik back to the east.... This is how Igbos would have been calling the entire west a no man's land because they had their man in power. Braggard tribe.

Yes I admit there might be reservoirs close by, but my brother it is not by common sense or history. It is by careful exploration and appraisal methods...Which involve money that need to be recovered. Oil might be found, but abandoned due to the fact that it is not commercial enough under certain circumstances. Taking into account economics, technicality, etc.

It is not by coming online to produce, and cover your expenses just so that you bear the "oil producing" tag. I hope they find more reserves...til then, I think 50Mbbls/day plateau rate is meagre. And if I am to guess, plateau will be for just about 10 years before decline.
The States of Imo, Abia and Edo all in the NDDC are not producing up to 50,000 barrels of oil per day.... Yet it is significant enough to call them oil bearing states.
I hope you know that.
