@joshO I didn’t blame the British for our problems; I just identified the source of our ethnic problems, which is the reason for this tread “Who Is Responsible for the Present State of Nigeria” the British that’s the simple answer. It is also important to know that we have the answer to the problem.  Please note: WE HAVING THE ANSWER IS NOT ENOUGH TO SAY WE ARE THE CAUSE.

@cvibe you are right now we are responsible. My statement addresses the causes of the problem we have in Nigeria today. Come to think of it, the Britains are actually the source of our ethnic problem; the ethnic problem is the source of our political problem, and our political problem affects the economy which affects every single person.

Nonsense, we have contributed to Ghanaian development more than the Ghanaians them selves. Nigerians are just the space goat. You inform someone of stolen amount money instead of advising you to do the right thing; he wants to share the money with you. Money that never existed (greediness) and he pays little money to get huge money (foolishness) it never happened before, you sole before you rip, even the fraud stars sole time, energy and money before collection funds from the victims. Victims of fraud should be arrested because they are the thieves them selves. It is such a shame that they blame others for their problems, keep blaming us;

Islamic terrorism. Not only in Nigeria my dear, Islam Extremist poses a great treat to the world at large; take a look at the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Fatah al-Islam, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen. They are all Islamic terrorist groups involved in suicide Bombings, Hijackings, Kidnappings and executions.

The British are responsible for Nigeria's problem from the beginning. The British Colonial policies in Nigeria gave birth to ethnic segregation. Colonialism in it's very nature has Racist connotations. The colonialist tended to choose a preferred ethnic group over all the others during colonial Era in Nigeria and there are over 300 ethnic groups.  The British favored the Fulani and Hausas and they recruited members of these ethnicities in disproportionate numbers into the colonial military.  The British left Nigerians divided hence laying the foundation for what became the source of Nigeria’s social, political and economic problems ravaging the very fabric of this nation to this hour.  The British colonized and amalgamated Nigeria without prior consideration to our Ethnic and cultural differences, without due consultation with ethnic groups as these ethnic groups have been coexisting as independent neighbors for centuries. This they did for administrative convenience against the wishes of almost 300 ethnic groups involved. After Nigeria gained her independence on October 1st 1960, a social political bombshell was already set in motion and it was just a matter of time before detonation moment, thus, laying the foundation of ethnic violence, economic and political problems in Nigeria today.

Before colonial interference, the country called Nigeria did not exist. In its place were various independent tribes and communities. These tribal groups have different languages, cultures, religion and political practices. They were all brought together under British rule to form the nation called Nigeria. The colonial masters drew the borders without prior consideration to difference in culture, ethnic groups. After the amalgamation in 1914, they were regarded as Nigerians, but every one considered them selves as primary members of their originated tribe.

A real guy will never lie to a woman. No woman is worth lieing to. Don't get me wrong, i mean a real guy will never lie 2 a lady. I have not practiced any real relationship in my 24 yrs life maybe thats why i can't tell, but when ever i need a woman, i call my love-vendor to get me some and i don't see it necessary lieing to any lady.

I am traveling very soon for my masters degree program, and i have an Extra 2 million naira after paying my fees and everything. I will like to know the best way to invest 2 million naira in Nigeria. I understand stocks are not doing good new. Please fellow Nigerians advise me.
