And I haven't yet picked an appointment date 4 d physical submission. Since I'm not sure of my appt date, shld I re-print my bank statement wen I'm sure of d appt date or shld I still use d one I printed last week friday?

And if I'm to re-print, shld I start from d date I deposited d full money? Cos d money is more than 28 days .

Hi everyone, i applied for Uk student visa in Abuja early june and i got my visa in less than 4 working days. I wasnt given the new 30day temporary vignette tho. I was given the visa for my full study period. Valid from 21st Aug 2015- 30th Jan 2017. The start date on my CAS is 21st Sept 2015 and end date is 30th Sept 2016. I called my enrolment manager at Coventry University and told her about it and she said it is not a problem that it is because i applied early and as at when they issued my visa, they hadn't started issuing the temporary vignette for Nigeria. I want to know; even with getting my full study visa, do i still need the biometric residence permit?

Didn't you get an address when you made your visa application online? Alternatively you could enquire from your enrolment manager and give us a feedback 'cus these rules are new.

Pls how much did you pay for the IHS? The portal is telling me 225 pounds even though I see 150 pounds on their site.

its 225 the extra 75pounds is for the extra 4months on your visa.

I think we are having a little misconception about this 30 days rule. The 30 days actually starts counting before the course start date as stated on your CAS or if your visa is issued less than 30 days before your course starts it will start counting from when it is issued.

so for instance if your course starts 21st sept, your 30 days starts from 21st august ,if you got your visa before 21st august.
lets say you get your visa 10th sept, then your 30 days starts from 10th sept because its less than 30 days before your course starts.

tensazangetsu are you checking cheapest ranking schools or what?secondly,did you check ranking schools in your discipline?cuz if you are talking about best schools in the world you have to mention US,uk,australia,spain,netherland(not sure about my spelling),hong kong and new zealand.I have never seen any china school among the top 500.YES,there are lots of Uk schools in the top ranking schools in the world I can mention them.
If asia has the best schools why are their students running to uk to get a british degree??why nigerians are not interested in those top schools because they are expensive and your argument is based on money and nothing else.

that you've said that asian students run to UK alone is enough to end this argument. The stats are there from LSBU to Cambridge Uni to even uni Sunderland you see students from Asia China and Pakistan esp.

You don't need the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) Number in order to process your CAS. It doesn't need to be on your CAS. CAS relates mainly to issues of finannce i.e. if you've paid the required deposit, e.t.c.
At least, I confirmed this from my school.

U need to be 100% sure.

Also I need advise concerning the heath insurance thing..what's the best mode of payment to use here as it seems a few people have had issues using MasterCard. also can someone use PayPal for instance to pay on my behalf? someone said I should send the health insurance thing to my school once I pay.. my school didn't ask for that so I'm wondering if that's necessary. Lastly someone told me I need to find out if my school is a biometric center..does anyone know what this means?

I paid online with Zenith's mastercard send the IHS number to your school cus they would need it for your CAS. I saw the number on the CAS I received today.

Please house I have a quick question. The TB test fee is about 26 thousand naira. I want to know if this amount will be deducted from my visa application which is about 98,600 thousand naira. That is to say instead of paying 98,600 during my visa application, I will be paying 72600.

see the IHS number would be on ur CAS so ut is needed to issue your CAS. There us an icon on the ukba website to calculate the amount you would pay its definitely 351 dollars nd that's £225. The £75 on it is for the remaining 4months on ur visa.

Oh ok! i get what you mean now... yes they add 4 months but your course is less than 12months, basically 9months. So i guess they are charging you full academic calendar(which is about 9months) plus extra months you will stay.

Though i think its unfair because many students don't even use the NHS
