You do NYSC once, and the it starts in camp. Get this 3 weeks right, and the remaining year might go just fine.
Just like everywhere that has lots of people huddled up with soldiers, NYSC camp is not particularly rosy. But it's not also as difficult as people might make it seem. Follow these tips and you'll be alright to be honest.

1. Have money.
Look, everything is easier in camp when you have money. You can vex and decide not to eat camp food if you have money. And please don't just have money in the bank. Get cash. Take enough cash as you go into camp. Saves you a lot of stress and trouble.

Cash is bae. And don't forget, everything is expensive in camp.

2. Have a powerbank.
There will be times when you'll be out of the hostel for long hours at a time, and these phones only last for a few hours. When the lectures get really boring, you'll have to choose between sleep and phone. And if you choose sleep, you just might end up like this;

3. Make lots of friends.
Don't just make friends, make the right friends, because life is too short to be dulling. Make friends that have money so they can buy you food at Mammy, make friends that soldiers like, so when they're escaping punishment, you can escape with them.

4. Mammy Market is the Love of Your Life.
Mammy market is probably your only link to the outside world. Because it's there you get to live the baby boy/girl that is your true destiny. You probably know this already but Mammy is bae. Once you have mammy, everything will be fine.

5. No matter what you do, don't offend the soldiers.
Now, I know you know your rights and all of that. But look, the chances that nothing will happen if they punish you for offending are very high. The worst part is that you're the one who gets to suffer wearing white. Which brings us to the next one. Obey them even if you don't like the activities. Just obey.

6. No forming abeg.
Nobody cares who your father or mother is abeg? Nobody cares if you went to Uni-Konko or Harvard. Nobody cares if your ancestors are from Cameroon. You're wearing the bloody khaki and the white shorts, just like everybody else.

7. Don't have sex.
See, I know the conji is catching you. But you need to close your legs. You won't die. If you try it and get caught, you'll end up with like this couple who eventually got booted out of camp.


Try to get the best out of your camp experience. Enjoy it. If done right, you'll only get to the it once.

Wizkid has held a listening session for his “Sounds From The Other Side” summer album down in Los Angeles, USA in the early hours of Thursday, May 18, 2017.

The event was attended by friends, fans and media house Power 106 FM LA radio.
A Twitter user by name @Youngfume who attended the listening remarked on the album saying it was sounding lit.


“Summer 2017 will belong to Wizkid Olaiya just heard SoundsFromTheOtherSide and it’s FUEGO,” another user Nel$on Laffit said.

The “Sounds From The Other Side” album is slated to drop in June with features from international artists like Chris Brown, TY Dolla $ign, Future and Drake among others.

The album marks his first international project to be released under Sony RCA Records with whom he signed to in 2016.

Wizkid first gained popularity with the 2010 track “Holla At Your Boy” as a signee to Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment. He’s also released two albums: 2011’s “Superstar” and 2014’s “Ayo”.

Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa today (11/05/17) received Delta State-born Big Brother Naija winner, Efe Michael Ejeba and called on youths to remain focused in discovering their talents.

According to Governor Okowa, “wherever our youths find themselves they should be focussed in achieving their goals, the youths have latent talents deposited in them they must find ways to develop them and apply them, if you have a calling, you must not allow that calling to die, you (Efe) despite your calling, you listened to your parents and went to school which gave you a good foundation.”

“It was obvious that there was no controversy about your winning, you avoided the vices, and showed that you are focused; our youths should find a way to discover their talents, they should stay committed to their dreams and pray to God to achieve it,” the Governor said, adding, “there was no issue of sentiments or tribalism, it shows that you are truly, a Nigerian.”

Governor Okowa, his Deputy, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro and members of the State Executive Council received Efe who was accompanied to the visit by his parents and members of his family.
