Tunji Adeleke, son to late first Osun State civilian Governor and also a serving Senator, Isiaka Adeleke, has taken to Snapchat to disclose that his father was killed because he wanted to be the Governor of Osun State for the second time.

This is coming after his late dad’s autopsy revealed, that he died of an overdose of pain killers. He also stated categorically that some unknown persons, wanted his father’s position and power by all means.

1. Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke was a very popular grassroots politician

2. Isiaka Adeleke was a very generous and large-hearted man who could empty his vault for the people

3. Adeleke had gubernatorial ambition to succeed Rauf Aregbe, he’s always had it even before he defected to the APC.

4. Sometimes in 2013, Rauf Aregbesola, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande cajoled Adeleke to abandon his old political party, the PDP for the APC just so that they could ride on his popularity to win elections in Osun state

5. The joker worked as Adeleke left the PDP for the APC on the promise that he would be made to succeed Aregbesola after the later might have completed his two terms of 8 years in office

6. But as usual, the trio of Rauf Aregbesola, Bola Tinubu and Bisi Akande reneged on this promise just like they did in the case of Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State in 2014

7. Unknown to Adeleke, they (Aregbe, Tinubu and Bisi Akande) have always had a different plan and the plan is that Adeleke would be prevented from getting the guber ticket

8. The belief of the trio is that Adeleke was too popular and independed-minded to be controlled by the Lagos Mafia

9. They knew that Adeleke had a winning political structure and it would be difficult to teleguide him from Lagos as they always do

10. So, Tinubu anointed Gboyega Oyetola and brought him back from Lagos to Osun State to be Chief of Staff to Aregbe overnight.

11. Gboyega is Tinubu’s first cousin from Iragbiji, the ancestral home of Tinubu in Osun state

12. Gboyega was/is the business advisor to Tinubu in Lagos. He handles a chunk of Tinubu’s businesses in Lagos

13. Tinubu wanted him because he believes that he would further the perfect yeoman’s job that he made Aregbe to do in Osun state.

14. But Adeleke was proving too ‘stubborn’ and too popular for their liking

15. They used the party to warn Adeleke not to commence campaigns but Adeleke defied them

16. Adeleke had the strong backing of Gov. Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state and lately, Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State.

17. These three detest Tinubu’s godfatherim and high-handedness in the South-West, and they’ve been working well, and succeeding, in taming the monster

18. That’s why you would notice that only these three gathered for the burial rites of Adeleke in Ede

19. Did you notice that not a single high ranking government functionary from Osun state attended the Firdua prayers in Ede?

20. Did you notice that despite his popularity and strategic importance to the victory of the APC in Osun state, neither Tinubu nor Bisi Akande honoured this Osun illustrious son with their presence at the Firdua?

21. It’s all a perfected premeditated game plan.

22. First, Aregbe was told to travel out of the state, to China on a phony business trip

23. After this, the agents of darkness were programmed to strike and they did struck deep into the hearts of Osun people.

24. Almost immediately, and in order to cover their tracks, they asked Omoyele Sowore of Sahara Reporters to spine the story away from them

25. And like a loyal boy that he always is to the Lagos Mafia, he did spine it that Adeleke died of drug overdose in the hand of a ‘quack’ doctor

26. How can a doctor with over two decades experience suddenly become a quack overnight?

Ayodele Fayose wore a long face as he sat in deep shock during the burial procession of late Senator Isiaka Adeleke who passed away yesterday.

The level of interpersonal relationship between Fayose and Adeleke seem to be unknown.

The late two time senator hailed from Osun state and was a member of the All Progressives Congress.

Governors Ibikunle Amosu of Ogun, Rotimi Akeredolu and others were also present as they maintained sobriety.

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State became a saviour on Monday after he rescued an aide of Governor Rauf Aregbesola from an angry mob baying for her blood at the premises of the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke.

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Monday, literally saved the day when he intervened and prevented a restive crowd of sympathisers from lynching Ms Idia Babalola, a former Special Adviser to Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

It was gathered that the crowd of sympathisers became restive when the female politician came in for the Islamic prayers ahead of the interment of the two-time Senator and first elected governor of Osun State, late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, at Ede in Osun State.


Angry sympathisers demanded that Babalola be made to leave the premises. Babalola who was seated among the dignitaries including the younger brother of the deceased, Deji Adeleke, was chased out by the youths who alleged that the former governor was poisoned by some APC leaders.

The irate youths said Babalola was being touted to become the running mate of the anointed candidate of the APC. Despite pleas from family members of the deceased, the youths insisted and started shouting and raining curses on her.


The youths started shaking the canopy where Governors; Ibikunle Amosun, Rotimi Akeredolu, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Deji Adeleke were seated to chase out Babalola who they described as a betrayer.

Babalola was escorted outside the house by Governor Amosun and his security aides as the youths threw sticks and mango fruits at her.

20 THINGS YOU MUST NOT FORGET TO TAKE TO NYSC ORIENTATION CAMP

So Today’s post is concerning things you just cant live without in camp except you intend on borrowing or stealing? (hmmm).

1. PHOTOCOPIES OF YOUR DOCUMENTS: just make up to 10-12 copies of every document required . There would  be photocopiers in camp at maami market but trust me , it is double the price and it saves time.   Statement of Result (Original and Photocopies) , School ID Card (Original and Photocopies)

2. COPIES OF PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPHS: This is very important . from experience i would say you make up to 30. Reason being that you would need them at every registration point mostly. Then those of you who would likely redeploy , you  would need more than others . It is always advisable to have extra copies of them too.

3. CALL UP LETTER: This is a vital part of  camp and the only evidence that you are a corper (otondo) and you are not impersonating anyone. so if at all you even forget you luggage (lol) never forget this. Word of advice —-keep it like its your life, do not laminate it o. i know someone who was sent back because she forgot hers. and also someone who had to beg and beg before his letter was collected because he laminated his own copy.  So please o avoid all these stress and make enough copies of this letter like 15 .

4. STATIONERY: BIRO , PAPER , GLUE ,TIPPEX AND STAPLER :Yeah this saves time and lots of unnecessary begging & also do not forget to include pins in your stapler.

5. ROUND-NECKED WHITE T-SHIRTS  : this is an essential outfit in camp in fact in most camps this  is the only allowed cloth to be worn throughout your 3 weeks . Even to church , you might not be allowed to wear colored cloths.  You would be given 2 pairs of white t-shirts at camp to just fulfill all righteousness which surely would never be your size especially our very slim and small otondo in size . So you can bring extra pairs (3) . Word of advice:  do not carry more than 2 pairs of colored clothes because you wont need it .

6. WHITE SHORTS: i beg you please do bring yours , you would also be given 2 pairs of shorts which are really poor in material . they tear easily and are thick . it can be annoying. so my dear otondos bring like 4 pairs of shorts .  Trust me also you wont like to wash everyday ,so bring enough to last you like 3 days so that you wont be stranded.

7. PLAIN WHITE SNEAKERS/TENNIS SHOES: This is a very important outfit. you would also be given a pair of low quality tennis shoes customized for nysc. Its either you are not given your size . After the first wash it starts tearing . So just buy yours. They also sell this in camp , so in case you are not able to get  you could buy in camp just carry extra cash for that because the price would be higher cos they know you have no choice than to buy.

8.WHITE SOCKS: Just get extra pairs . you would also be given 2 pairs.

9. A PAIR OF SLIPPERS

10. DETTOL : This is very very essential . firstly the bathrooms can be very annoying and dirty  and you would not like to have infection from camp. Bad idea. Also the water can be dirty. Most people always have reaction to it.

11. MOSQUITO NET:  you would do not want to fall sick in camp from malaria. Just bring yours. Also bring  ropes you would use to tie it o. i also used mine as a room to protect my box and properties from thieves and also from some insects and ants.

12. OTHERS: Towel , bed sheets Pillow Cases and A Pillow . You could also get pillow from mammy market.

13. NOVEL: For those who get bored easily , please carry some. And for Guys: psp, chess, iPod and mp3 players.

14. CASH: extremely important. you would need between 15000 – 20000 for the extravagant spenders and for those that can manage say 10000-15000. There are lots of things  that take up money . NOTE—- you wont be allowed to leave camp o. So do not be stranded , trust me not a good idea.Just budget 1000 per day . You could carry your ATM incase.

15. ALMIGHTY WAIST POUCH/BAG:Very very essential . This served as my bank and locker for important items. Things like phones, money , id card , keys , ATM cards e.t.c  I even know someone who sleeps with hers on because of people on the loose to steal.

16. TORCHLIGHT OR RECHARGEABLE LAMPS: Most or in fact all camps do not give light except at a specific time of the day . Its very essential . especially at night when you need to use the bathroom , early in the morning when preparing for morning drills and meditations. at night in case you need to do anything . At mammy , there is always light till they close . You can charge them there at a little fee.

17. BASIC DRUGS: like panadol or paracetamol , allergy medicine , menustaral pain drug , nausea relief drugs , antibiotics e.t.c  . The camp clinic is always inadequately filled with drugs so help yourself.

18. PADLOCKS : please lock your boxes and bags to avoid regrets and crying o . i know people who lost things to theives due to carelessness

19.Toiletries/Sanitary Pad.

20. Bucket, soap dish (buy at the camp site, don’t stress yourself taking one to the place, they always sell in the camp).

21. PLATE , BOWL AND CUP: For eating . Important for those who intend on eating camp food.
