Application: 22nd July
Biometrics: 28th July (TLS Ikeja, Flexi appointment)
Transferred to DMC: 28th July
Received by DMC: 31st July
Transferred to VAC: 15th August (No NSF)
Received by VAC: 15th August
DHL Mail: 15th August
Received with shining vignette: 16th August
Still waiting on BRP Mail though, but I am indeed very grateful to everyone who contributes on this platform God bless you all.

This morning the tracker changed to "Application Transferred To VAC", but still no mail, nsf, or brp, none.

Please should I be worried, I feel so shaky.

Just a little info to help prospective Tier 4 visa holders - At the point of entry( I flew in to Glasgow last week), I was asked by a border official if I have got any evidence - he specifically mentioned CAS - to show that I was going to the University of Strathclyde. No, I didn't have my CAS printed out, ever since I learnt that the most important thing in a CAS statement is the number( My school, during registration, also asked me of my CAS. I gave the number, with the excuse that I am totally committed to a paperless existence ).

So at the border, I instead showed my BRP collection paper, and all the while, the official was calm and courteous , and even told me to calm myself down when, in my haste to produce my documents, some fell out.

So I will advice two things in general: Have ALL your documents handy at all times; and be confident in your belief that, you being a genuine student, no border official will deny you entry, so long as you have the most basic of evidence such as your visa and international passport.

Book 2days hotel accommodation in one of the budget hotels like holiday Inn, premire Inn etc then use that opportunity to search for accommodation. Visit your international centre for accommodation advice or your school notice board.

Use your school post code to search for those hotels you definitely find one very close to your university.

You can check now and book viewings for when you arrive. Don't make payment until you see what you're renting.
You Can also check your school's Facebook page as accommodating listings are sometimes put up there by other students.

You could use www.spareroom.co.uk to search for accomodation or look for a cheap airbnb to stay for the 17th, do some room viewings same day when you arrive and move in.

@Justwise @mimilyrics and all other people that helped I really appreciate it. So now am to travel to Glasgow Scotland on the 17th and I need to sort out my accommodation before hand, pls, what do u advise

Good day to you all. I got admitted to University of the West of Scotland. My mum sister is my sponsor and she is a permanent resident in UK. I am about applying for visa but she asked me to submit her documents and UK bank statement to UKVI. She has secured an accomodation for me outside campus. But I dont know if it is a red flag for me to submit her documents as my legal sponsor. Must the money be in her account for 28 days?

So I applied for her on the 27th of July. My first call to UKVI was on the 17th of August. They escalated on the 21st, gave me a new reference number and said I should wait for 10 to 15 working days for a response directly from UK home office. I refused to wait because her holiday was almost ruined. I called them almost everyday until they got tired of me. It got to a point where they said it was out of their hands. Also kept going to Tlscontact office Ikeja. By GOD's grace the status changed on their website to Decision Made just yesterday and I got the email last night. Picked it up this morning. It has never been this bad as we've been renewing for many years. But in all, I thank GOD!

When did you call ma, and was it up to ten working days before you got a response? Because I just called now and was told the process will be escalated but 15 working days

Hello, do you have any updates about your situation, I also applied for my daughter on the same 27th. Same problem. I've contacted UKVI by phone and email. They said a decision was made 2 Fridays ago and I should have received the passport long ago. They've escalated to Home office. They say I'll get a response in 10 working days. Just waiting

Pls how did you contact them, would like to do the same

I called the international enquiry service and was told that my visa decision was made last week Monday. Yet my status has not changed in tlscontact website and I have received no contact from them.

I finally called ukvi on my Son's application and I was informed a decision has been made. Immediately after the call, I tracked the application on the tls website and the decision made column has been ticked. So hopeful at this stage.

Yes, I did still checked dis evening, it's been on received by ukvi for the past 3 weeks

Good evening people, thanks for your help so far, I just got a mail today the 19th working day that a telephone interview will be conducted tommorow, am getting kinda scared and worried pls what should I know or do
