mirej: NB: Kindly read before commenting PLEASE!!! Before anyone will call me a hausa goat or an oduduwa loyalist, let me say I am a NIGERIAN from the southeastern part of this country. In Nigeria we tend to say our past leaders were great, selfless and patriotic but we shy away from the obvious truth that they were selfish, corrupt and tribalistic. But we can't blame them because as in every new thing we learn by trial and error- we may fall but we are supposed to look back and check what made us fall. Our past leaders may have failed because they were new in the business of managing a multi-cultural country like ours but must we now repeat their mistakes? We supposed to have learnt from their mistakes and make informed decisions. As human beings, when things aren't going our way we tend to blame others, it happens all over the country like the Yorubas blaming the Igbos for taking up lands and businesses in their towns and the Hausas accusing the Igbos of being arrogant, the igbos blaming Hausas & Yorubas for hating them. One thing is clear, we all have our differences, Nigeria is not perfect but we have a responsibility to contribute positively to it. I have three questions for my NIGERIAN brothers clamouring for the state of biafra. 1) What are your expectations of the state of biafra? 2) Since you were born Nigerian how do you think you can improve biafra to be better than Nigeria? 3) Since u've lost faith in the KNOWN ie Nigeria, then why do u place so much faith in the UNKOWN ie Biafra? In my opinion I think we should be clamouring for regionalization and decentralization of power instead of individual states like Biafra. Please think deeply before commenting. I'm just trying to enlighten my misled brothers. Please don't take it personally. u are on point what I clamour is regionalism or division |

egift: Nothing to discuss. Anyone tire of Nigeria, can pack their luggage and leave. But any miscreant attempting to divide Nigeria will be dealt with excessive force. I dare IPOB touts to pick up arms and see armored tanks, arrests, troops, state of emergency, martial law, bombs, vandalism, destruction and business grounded in all affected communities. I dare them.
Those who know the cost, sacrifices and tragedy of war will go home and mind their business. While toddlers who have not seen anarchy will be here beating up their noisy feeble cheats.
As a patriotic Nigerian the Unity, Peace and Progress will be defended with everything imaginable. at the mention this brat piss on his trouser. are u afraid of Biafra or do u love biafra.. .. do u see any hope of Nigeria developing in next 50yrs. its beta I suffer in and die for Biafra than to die for stupid Nigeria who does not care for her citizen.smh.its beta to have a divided peaceful Nigeria than having a united sick nation...... |

2.How do u think Nigeria can stand together wen Nigeria houses over 70 ethnic group.
3. Do you see development coming to Nigeria in the next 15 years.
4. Are we wiser than Britian, USA China and UK that practices true federalism.
5. As long as our faces differ so shall our belief differ.
Federalism will create peaceful competition that will make Nigeria develop. Nigeria without parasitic oil is possible
let us support federalism.,., we need progress. we need joy |

Politics › Delta State Police Deny Arrest Of 125 Pro-biafra Protesters In Delta by Scout60(op): 11:17am On Nov 09, 2015 |
The Police have denied the arrest of 125 persons in Asaba, Delta State, marching for the actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra. Earlier report says 125 persons were arrested in the south-south Nigerian state during a one-million-man march that has caused untold hardship for travellers. But police said it had not made any arrest. The agitations by the indigenous people of Biafra have been on since last Friday. The first demonstrations were recorded in Imo State. One-Million-Man March Throughout the night, about 10,000 members of the group laid siege at the major fly-over bridge in Enugu. Report says that the group marched through the major streets at night before going back to their various locations, defiling an earlier warning by the police not to hold the march. On Friday, The Nigeria Police Force issued a warning against the one-million-man march, saying the protesters, from the south-eastern region, would be provoking the law if they do not stop such protests or source http://www.channelstv.com/2015/11/08/police-deny-arrest-of-125-pro-biafra-protesters-in-delta/ |

Rayhut: Nigeria as a country was built on wrong foundation, even the British, US knew that Nigeria will break up one day. UK has 4 countries in it, eg Wales, England, Scotland and Northern Island, then ask yourself why they cannot be one country like Nigeria, USA has all it states operating as a semi independent country, immigration law in Texas is not the same with California, China has Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tibet and Macau as part of China which are all semi independent, without confederation in Nigeria there will be no peace, Nigeria need to go back to Aburi peace accord, Nigeria will never be a progressive country because Nigeria is made up of irreconcilable entities that cannot align, Nigeria suppose to have 4 countries eg Arewa, Biafra, Midland, Oduduwa under confederation just like UK, China, Netherlands etc, without this Nigeria will never know peace. God bless u |
