AyakaDunukofia: INSTRUMENT LANDING SYSTEM (ILS) was one of the early upgrades given to the airport months ago. Flights can now be guided to land perfectly in the night and day. i said they are yet to receive night landing equipment which an international airport must have because at times, international planes used to arrive mostly at night depending on the time zone |

lucasalves: Yeah cos a car is made of plastic (p.s he makes plastic chairs not as parts to his cars). Get a load of this guy. I thought you should mention General Tyres and Tubes Company Ltd”at Emene in Enugu, in collaboration with his Chinese partners. (this is sourced).
It's nothing but a front for a Chinese company with a Nigerian name plastered over it to garner local support. his plastic company fronts many other business. eg he has building in his company in enugu that mould some machine engine parts and motor parts. There is no car manufacturing plants that moulds all his parts. They collaborate with different parts manufacturing company to supply them parts they can produce |

Why are most Nairalanders always so negative about everything concerning life? the truth fact is rehabilitation is still going on in enugu airport only the run way is completed. The airport is yet to receive night landing equipment, even the departure and arrival lounge is yet to be completed |

lucasalves: You do know there is a difference between welding rails or frames of cars and actually designing a car right? Do you think all the cars are imported in full body conditions from China? Riddle me this, where do you think the engine comes from genius? The infotainment system? ohhh that's right, you know nothing about engineering and manufacturing.
I would be very curious to know what parts exactly does he manufacture locally, do your research before you make up baseless statements as facts. Down to the exhaust pipes every single thing is imported, that's the deal as he is a subsidiary of the Chinese company, they want to increase actual production in their country and have it exported as it's an avenue to grow their own G.D.P. (This is how the world works). And yes the same is the case for Nord, so don't around here with that tribal b.s. Visit his plastic plant in enugu. That where most parts come from. |

Sanchez01: Resist the urge, bro.
Why Ronaldo left isn't the problem. How is the focus here. Ronaldo would have been branded a failure if he left without winning three UCL trophies in a row or any at all. Recall Messi had bragged at the start of the season that the UCL is returning to the Camp Nou?
Question: Would Messi be fighting to leave if Barcelona won the Champions League? Would Messi be fighting to leave if the scoreline was just 0-2 and not 2-8?
Bayern Munich has no respect. If they were gentle with Barcelona, this episode won't be happening. But this isn't the first time Messi is running or quitting after losing. It isn't even the third sef Barcelona won 5 ucl, messi won 4 with them. Between 2005 and 2018, Barcelona has more la liga titles and local trophy than Madrid. Between 2005 and 2018, Barcelona has more el clasico wins than Madrid. In that 2005-2018, it was between messi and ronaldo Between 2005-2018, messi has more free kicks goal, more motm award, more golden ball award, la liga best player award than almighty ronaldo Ronaldo beware, he is coming to intermilan |

NevetsIbot: So a female friend dropped into my dm distraught at her skin condition. She was talking about her having stretch marks and how embarrassed she was about it... While I was trying to calm her down and let her know it was natural for someone who's gaining weight or for most people even... (I have tiger stripes on my bum too na ).. She maintained that this one was a big issue and she has been emotional and even lost her confidence...
According to her, her marks just started turning black and she has used organic creams to treat it, shea butter and just got coconut oil. She sent a picture of her skin at the waist running to the back.
She would like a natural treatment cos she doesn't like these chemical stuffs from the counter. I for one don't like drugs and all. you see vitamin c serum... it is very costly but works like magic. 100% natural.I sell vitamin c serum. my sister has used it to clear stretch marks before. Many people has recommended fruits which contains vitamin c too Quote me if you need one. 100% money back guarantee |

Politics › Re: Agbakoba, Quakers Differ On China Loan ‘Sovereignty Clause’ by Scout60(m): 12:11pm On Aug 06, 2020 |
dustydee: In Nigeria, you can cause any controversy because majority of the people do not read and only go by the headline. Nigeria is a sovereign state and the waiver in the contract was only to guarantee that the debtor will get paid, which is normal. For those talking about oil wells and mining sites being taken over, that will be foolish on the Chinese part because the Nigerian government can render those assets useless if they are taken over by simply passing laws (Tax, operational etc.) that will inhibit them from getting full value from those assets. The Chinese are more likely to go after assets outside the country if we default. China will seize an assest. The assets they picked will become theirs till you pay back in full even if it takes them 100 years. Also by immunity, you will always implement policy that will favour them or you go to international court |

abduljabbar4: Then that means Nigeria is ready to remain stagnant forever. Politics aside, this government is serious about infrastructural development (although it has failed in many areas). I don't see Nigeria failing to pay back and honestly, we need to learn how to be optimistic sometimes. in Nigeria, optimistic no..... no be today government should seriousness in one thing and still fail in it. That loan is dangerous for me considering our politicians I don't care attitude. Those guys fit collide with contractors the money will be lost. amcon take over politicians properties because they don't pay up, what will happen when the property is not even theirs personally |
Politics › Re: China Loan: Amaechi Says "No Need To Panic, Nigeria Is Already Paying Back" by Scout60(m): 8:37pm On Aug 02, 2020 |
Guestlander: First of all, the money is paid directly to the contractors. It is not the kind of loan anyone can embezzle. Your second question; what if the rail system fail before we can repay the loan. In this type of project the contractor doesn't just leave when the project is completed, they are usually available as per agreement to fix any technical or unforseen issues which may come up after completion until Nigerians can take over and fix it themselves. we all know Nigeria factors and way contractors abandon projects. What do government put in place of that |

abduljabbar4: Why is Amaechi even wasting his time on these people. They are okay with Africans being slaves to the IMF and collecting loans that mostly ends in the pockets of white companies and corrupt politicians, but they have problems with low-interest, long-term loans from China. It's only an irresponsible government that will fail to repay such loans (given the time and interest rate of the of course Zambia problem didn't start today... when they are entrapping them and enjoying themselves with Chinese money, they forgot the repayment date. Now Nigeria is heading towards that direction. Have you ever ask yourself what of if the railway system fails and Nigeria fails to repay back the loans, what will happen? |

For the record, abia state has the highest gas reserve in Nigeria. Imo state is an oil producing state. Enugu has the largest coal depot in west Africa. What then do north contribute? |
Politics › Re: China Loan: Amaechi Says "No Need To Panic, Nigeria Is Already Paying Back" by Scout60(m): 1:45pm On Aug 02, 2020 |
Guestlander: This is funny, this is one of the reasons Nigeria is poor. The world bank and the IMF got their money back many times over leaving us with less money to develop and build necessary infrastructure.
Not only that, do you know how much Nigeria parted with to settle the "debt forgiveness" you are talking about. On top of that Nigeria lost more than 30 billion to the world Bank and the IMF with nothing to show for it. No trains, no electricity, few standard roads and barely functional airports.
The Chinese cannot take the railway back to china even if they eventually take it over. There are foreign companies already operating in Nigeria today that take their profit back to their home countries. What do you have to say about this? what of if the railways system fail before we repay the loan, what then do you think the Chinese will take over? do you know that it is always difficult for Nigeria to repay back loans, what of if the money enter another pocket? |

Nigeria is a mono economy that depends on oil. The price have been down since the government came in it means, the amount realize from sells of oil can not finance our budget.
Please as Nigeria that want to see the country better let's list other forms of financing the budget outside borrowing.
Forget hate and let's talk about the nation Nigeria generates #10 trillion naira every year but where do those money go to? if we are sincere to ourselves, our loans can be cleared off in 6 years but they keep stealing the money |
