thunderfirebubu:Time consuming is not really my problem. All am scared of is lecture time clashing with work time. |
Fxwarrior:Yes. I live and work in lagos. |
Rednaxelot:Am running out of time sir. Am already 26yrs old, by next year I will be 27. An M.Sc may position me for better opportunities in the future. Please give me practical advice. |
mikezuruki:If you are in the same mix, did you quit your job or you are you plan combining your work and schooling. |
Good evening guys, I trust you all had an amazing day. I have a problem which has been bothering me for a while now. I recently landed a job few months ago. The pay is not all that wonderful. When I add my other allowances, it sums up to 90k per month. I have been squating with a friend for some time now so am planning on getting my own apartment next year when I save up some money. The only beauty about my job is that it gives you a lot of free time. I can be done with work as early as 1:30pm and go home. I am thinking of going back to school for my M.Sc in UNILAG but as it is, I am my own sponsor. I have a first degree in Biochemistry. Should I go back to school or continue working? Does UNILAG offer part time options for students in my line of study? |
May God help us in this country. |
On Thursday, a justice of the Federal high court sitting in Abuja, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu ordered the immediate release of Omoyele Sowere and his co-defendant Mr Bakare, but barely 24 hours after his release, operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS )attempted to rearrest him during a court session thereby desecrating the sanctity of the temple of justice. Several online videos have been in circulation since the incident occured but what may has eluded the public is the attempted assassination of Mr Sowore. During the fracas which happened on friday December 23, a man clothed in the regalia of a lawyer was caught on camera when he forcibly pierced Mr Sowore on the head with a needle-like object. Immediately, Mr Sowore in the midst of the already heightened tension in the courtroom screened "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME" and he looked in the direction from which he felt the sharp pain. Below is a video which shows the exact moment the assassination attempt on Mr Sowore's life was carried out. Pay particular attention from the 23-30th minute of this clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ET-JSNHUQ2U |
neupert:Good morning, how much is the screen for probook 4530s. Am in lagos. |
nymphomaniac:That's not a "placebo effect" in this case. The injection actually worked. A placebo is not a drug, but has semblance of a drug. All medication (injections and tablets) are dependent on a number of factors. There are injections which are administered intravenously, (in this case, the injection is directed straight into the veins and this has a very rapid effect depending on the timing of the injection), there are some administered intramuscular, (these are injections administered at sites with large concentration of muscles such as your buttocks) and there are subcutaneous injections, (these injections are administered by skilled health personnel by slightly lifting up the skin). Its important to note that the choice of administration is heavily dependent upon the rate of absorption of the drug and sometimes the urgency for treatment. On the other hand, the active ingredients in most tablets or capsules are relatively smaller than entire size of the drugs, the outter layer can be coated with carbohydrates or sweet and colourful coating as in the case of drugs for kids. When a tablet is injested, it dissolves and gets absorbed into the blood stream and because of the time taking for all these processes to be complete, the relative time for the drug to act is elongated. |
Good day Nairalanders, Over the last couple of years, precisely since the beginning of the administration of Eng Dave Umahi, Ebonyians now experience a new and better Ebonyi state. This administration has improved the overall growth and development of Ebonyi state taking into consideration the giant strides made in infrastructural development, health, education, business etc. May God bless Chief Nweze David Umahi. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUs3PLHskLI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGWYf_GXxJo |

KoiceReloaded:Koice can you suggest top notch military action series, I have seen so many of them but i so much love military action series. |
MelesZenawi:Bros where are you from. Just type your state and we will see how well your governor is performing. |
Germannig:No need for insults. I think if other governors had any meaningful infrastructural developments in thier states, their citizens would also upload them. |
MelesZenawi:Its not about being a media governor, its about the realities on ground. I remember when Burj Khalifa was opened in UAE, the news was all over the place. All am saying is that people appreciate someone who has done what other people failed to do. |
If he could do all these considering the meager allocation the state gets, one begins to wonder what he will do if he had the resources of states like Akwa Ibom, Delta or Rivers state at his disposal. |
Hello guys, I was going through youtube this morning and this kept on popping up on my phone. These are videos of Ebonyi state. If Ebonyi can be like this, Lagos and Abuja should be miles ahead of where they are now. For God's sake lagos is a $90 billion dollar economy and it should be way ahead of other places. PS: I mentioned lagos and Abuja because the rest are shitholes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQIsHz_TAEk&t=246s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Baq-acpT02E&t=721s

Over the last couple of months, a lot of controversy has surrounded the proposed Cattle Colony popularly known as RUGA. Opinions from different parts of the country has been made public concerning the security challenges in different parts of the country particularly the clashes mostly observed in southern Nigeria between farmers and cattle herders also known fulani herdsmen. Calls from different schools of thought particularly in the southern parts of Nigeria have been unanimous to decline the creation of cattle colonies. However, I think that the state governors and stakeholders have not given a critical analysis. To me, instead of outrightly rejecting the establishment of cattle colonies, why cant the state governors suggest the following to the federal government; 1) Cattle colonies should be established in all the 36 states of the federation. 2) After the establishment of the colonies, it should be HANDED OVER TO THE STATE GOVERNMENT FOR FULL CONTROL AND ADMINISTRATION. 3) state governors should then employ its citizens to work on the farms thereby creating employment opportunities. 4) Pasture cultivation would now become another source of employment since there will no longer be free grass 5) Cattle rustling and farmer-herder clashes will be a thing of the past. 6) The situation whereby cattle is found roaming within the streets and major roads will be a thing of the past. If the above mentioned strategy is implemented, then there will be less unemployment in the society and the unnecessary death and destruction of property would be avoided. However, this is an awakening call because in years to come, the Federal government would include RUGA in its annual budget and the Northern part of Nigeria will be the beneficiaries since they are the only ones open to the establishment of cattle colonies. If the south can implement this idea, it will be a win-win situation for everyone. TO BE FOREWARNED IS TO BE FOREARMED. |
Ruga should be developed in all 36 states of the federation including the FCT. After building the ranches and every needed infrastructure, the scheme should then be handed over to the state governments for full control. I am saying this because in the nearest future, there will be federal budget allocated to Ruga states from the federal government. This will also be a form of creating employment for indigenes of all states in Nigeria since the Ruga settlement will be solely administered by state governors. A word is enough for the wise. |
lakewise:Can one buy biotin in a regular pharmacy and what is the average price. |

May her soul rest in peace!!! |
Its really disheartening. Work hard until you are financially ready to handle whatever situation life throws at you. I have made a personal decision never to date a broke or jobless girl. I will have my own money and my girlfriend will have her own money. For God's sake we are dating, I am not adopting you. If I want to adopt, I know where to look at. |
