Samantha125:You will not understand because you think leadership is based on buying a car for his wife or giving her money. Has your president ever distributed free cars or free money to you? I believe his major job is to provide jobs or create an enabling environment for investors to provide private jobs or for entrepreneurs to thrive. His duty is also to provide security of lives and property If you judge your your president by these standards, what's stopping you from judging your husband by these standards? |
Samantha125:The duty of a man is to be the head and lead his family and not buy a car for his wife. Being a head and being a leader does not mean you have to spend your hard earned money to buy a car for your wife. If your wife wants a car, she should get a job or start a business. |
Samantha125:You just singled out one of the points I wrote and replied to that. What then happens to the point where I said she should go out and work if she wants a car. Does marriage automatically means that she would be entitled to the man's money/assets? Marriage does not suffice for work. Whatever a person wants in life, they should work for it and not expect it from their spouse simply because they are married. |
Samantha125:Is the husband owing the wife a car? One thing women fail to understand is that men reward people who ease their stress. What if the wife is a torn on the flesh of the man. Why would she also complain for taking care of two kids who call her MOTHER. If she wants a car, she should go out and work instead of thinking that she magically deserves a car from her husband. |
asabeey:Good Afternoon sir. I am planning on going for my MBA at OAU this year. Please how much is the school fees and any other requirement. |
Usually, you can get treatment locally. What you have is tonsilitis. That litlle stuff dangling from the ridge of your throat is called tonsils and it is inflamed. You will need a minor surgery to remove it. After cutting it off, you will be given dry gin to rinse your mouth with. You will continue this process for 24hrs after which you feel better. The headaches and body pain will die off. I'm telling you this with first hand experience. Note: This surgery is usually done locally. |
First it is important to know how money works. It is also important to know how economy works. The size of an economy determines the degree of freedom the country has to print extra notes. Value is increased by scarcity. If you can easily pick up diamonds, then it looses its value. The more readily acceptable a currency is globally, the stronger the currency and hence the less damage when there is extra printing of that currency. For instance, if America decides to print extra 50 billion dollars, lower and middle income countries suffer because they will be the ones to cussion the effect of extra money in circulation globally. What this means is that there will be capital flight. This means that more people will have the capacity to purchase, and this in-turn means that a large number of people are looking for the same product in the global market. What manufactures would do is to increase the prices of their products to selectively kill the demand. It means that a product which usually goes for $100 will become $110 dollars and this has effectively terminated all customers whose budget falls within the $100 mark. This is what is called INFLATION. It is important to note that for third world countries such as ours, the central bank views your money domiciled in the local banks with the lense of a dollar. This means that if you have #100,000 in your zenith bank account, you just have $200 domiciled with the central bank. So printing more money locally leads to more money in the hands of the populace and therefore more purchasing power. Demand therefore outweighs supply and the only way of making the economy work is for prices to go up thereby limiting the number of people who are able to make purchase and this is INFLATION. |

MejiLoyon:All the information in those books can be found in a phone or computer. Most countries are moving away from paper information. |
this unholy marriage has to stop. How can someone tell you that a person who speaks your language, practices every aspect of your culture is not your brother, while someone who has an entirely different culture from you is your brother..... this is the case of the yorubas in Nigeria and their brothers in Benin republic and Togo |
ashantitope:Hello, can we talk privately about this business idea? |
byrron:Please can shed more light on this |
GOOD NEWS FROM NIMC, NO MORE STRESS / EXPLOITATION TO GENERATE NIN NIMC has setup a ussd server to dispense NIN number to Nigerians from the comfort of our homes. Dial * 346# and follow the screen prompts. Your NIN will be displayed. *Caution:* before dialing this code, ensure you do the following: You must dial from a sim that is associated with a previous registration of either voters card, drivers licence, bvn or any other registration that captured your thumbprint and passport. You must have at least N20 call credit on the line Prepare a sheet of paper and pen or get ready to screenshot the NIN when displayed, as it will not be displayed more than once and can't be saved once displayed. Do not try the code if your battery is low We were surprised that no such information was given to people at the NIMC's offices because of the money they make therefrom. NIN agents and workers were exploiting Nigerians to the tune of N3000 - N5000 to get what is meant to be free. The dial code works. I just got my NIN with only N20. Spread this info on all social media and inform everyone. The problem with Nigeria is not only leadership but sabotage and corruption perpetrated by the led. I think we are gradually getting it right. Corruption will die one day in Nigeria. Just spread this news. Thank you. |
oladipuposadeeq:Please streptomycine and ricin can never cure kochs disease. They are both antibiotics but they are not the cure. I hope there is no relapse. |
oladipuposadeeq:Streptomycine and Ricin are incapable of treating kochs disease. Stop misleading people. |

Freedom of lawful association is enshrined in our constitution. This is now militocracy. The police belief that they can issue out orders and enforce it irrespective of the fact that they violate peoples constitutional rights. |

With the way Lawmakers in Lagos are saying negative things about the #ENDSARS protest, I am beginning to think they all got the orders from someone to say these things. |
The joy I have with this announcement is just the process of the selection. There was no bias whatsoever in the selection process. The best person got the job. I wish our government can employ this type of selection process and stop using public office as compensation for political favors. |
The difference is that those police men will face justice. In Nigeria, nothing will happen. |
A group of computer hackers known as ANONYMOUS has hacked the official twitter handle of the NIGERIAN BROADCASTING COOPERATION. There was pandemonium following the invasion of a polling unit in Owo local Government Area by the convoy of the governor. It is reported that the wife of the Governor was injured in the process as 3 other persons lost their lives. In the viral video from Channels Television, an election observer is seen running for his dear life while armed mobile police men gave him a hot chase leading to his apprehension. More details will be made available soon.

Everyone now has an opinion..... |

Congratulations to Ebonyians. The best is yet to come. |
There are steps to achieve economic boom in the face of the current crises rocking Nigeria. If we float the Naira and fully deregulate the price of petroleum products, then we will all suffer. Deregulation simply means that oil marketers are free to source for petroleum products on their own without government intervention and they can sell the product at their own price depending on the amount they bought the commodity. This means that, when there is full deregulation, filling station A can be selling fuel at 200 naira while filling station B will be selling at 160 naira. The customers then decide where they choose to buy. When this happens, naturally customers will choose to buy from a cheaper source and the other source will be forced to reduce their price in order to sell. On the other hand, floating the naira entails allowing the naira to be traded at the open market without the intervention of the government. Unofficially, BDC's sell a dollar at 460 naira while the governments official figure is 380, thats a difference of 80naira. This simply means that for each dollar sourced from the government, Nigerians pay the remaining 80 naira. Now deregulation and floating the naira are two important ways of reviving the economy but you need necessary economic infrastructure in place to cushion the initial effect this move will have on the consumer. For instance, we depend majorly on crude oil to earn forex, if anything happens to the oil market we feel the impact greatly. Alot of ships coming into Nigeria with foreign products on a daily basis and those ships leave Nigeria empty without exporting anything. This is a one way traffic and it's not good for our economy. If the government can ban all agricultural products, all textile products( including okirika), all cosmetic products, all rubber products, and allow only medical and machinery products. This step will revive our textile industry, our agricultural industry, and the glory of our former rubber industry will be restored because consumers will be forced to make do with locally produced goods. |
The evil that men do..... |
Some of those pictures of Pretoria are really beautiful. But there is just one secret why we Nigerians find it attractive and that is LANDSCAPING. landscaping is the most important beauty magnifier. Infact, the environment of a building should receive as much attention as the building itself. Here are some simple tricks. 1) when you wash the tires of a care thoroughly and just dry clean the body of the car, the car looks clean. 2) when you wear nice shoes, you look really attractive. In Nigeria, we pay little attention to our environment. Those buildings we saw there can easily be found somewhere in Ikoyi or Victoria Island but the landscaping and environment has added so much beauty to the overall appearance of the place. When you take a picture at Civic center in Victoria Island, subconsciously a viewer will tell you that this is Nigeria even if the viewer has never seen the civic centre building before. Now take picture in a bungalow somewhere in Chicago, that same viewer will immediately tell you that this picture was taken overseas. The difference is just landscaping and attention to environment. |
