Afam4eva: You may be right that it's not an African thing but trying to change the constitution to remain a life president is very African. As if we have not seen European leaders who try to rule for ever Abeg tell me something |
Sincere 9gerian: So why hasn't any of the several threads about Fashola buying armoured cars made front page? I cant see any sense of fairness hereYour hallucination no get remedy |
Afam4eva: It's not a crime to seek re-relection as long as the constitution permits but it's a crime trying to change the constitution to be able to come back for a third term. That's why Mandela should be praised for not coming for a second term even though the constitution allowed it. How many African leaders have ever done it. None that i know of.Can you tell me an American President that did not try to come back? It is not an African thing my brother |
Though Mandela is an Hero.. Mandela seems like a coward from some perspective though honest. Mugabe is more Patriotic, Fearless and much more determined to align the path of his country with its Prosperity |
Rubbishhhhhhhh |
Resign |
Even Ladipo must be closed. Now we can decipher who truly owns Lagos |
Sincere 9gerian: My brother, I tire for dem oh!Continue wasting your time |
Gunmen made off with $54 million after attacking a Libyan central bank van in Sirte, 300 miles east of Tripoli, according to the official LANA news agency. The funds were on their way to the Libyan central bank's branch in that town, and had been flown into a nearby airport when the vehicle was intercepted on its way into town by “10 heavily armed men,” reports AFP. City officials said that the one security vehicle and its guards assigned to protect the van had been “unable to resist” the attackers, though the vehicles used in the brazen heist had been identified, and police were looking for the gunmen. A Sirte official said that two banks have been robbed in July, with robbers taking some $400,000 in those robberies. The incident has further drawn attention to the rising level of lawlessness in the country since the fall of Moamer Kadhafi, who released tens of thousands of convicts during the initial stages of the 2011 rebellion that eventually led to Western intervention and his removal from power. http://rt.com/news/line/2013-10-29/#52042 |

Former Chief Of General Staff Admiral Mike Akhigbe Dies From Throat Cancer In New York Posted: October 29, 2013 - 00:22 Admiral Mike Akhigbe By SaharaReporters, New York Retired Admiral Mike Okhai Akhigbe, who played several roles in a number of military regimes in Nigeria, passed away today in New York City, SaharaReporters has confirmed. A source close to the family told our correspondent that Mr. Akhigbe breathed his last at 1.06 p.m. (New York time). He was surrounded by his wife, his children, and their spouses, our source disclosed. The cause of death was throat cancer, said the source. SaharaReporters learnt that the former military administrator of Ondo and Lagos States first experienced symptoms of his disease in 2010. He was engaged in President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign at the time, but took a leave to fly to Germany where doctors gave him the grim diagnosis. For three years, he underwent treatment for his cancer in Germany, the UK and the United States of America before finally succumbing to the disease earlier today. Over the last one month, the former naval officer received treatment at the Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Hospital in Manhattan. The hospital is one of the top treatment facilities for cancer in the world. The Nigerian Consulate in New York also confirmed Mr. Akhigbe’s death, adding that they were conferring with the late officer’s family on plans to convey his remains back to Nigeria for burial. Mr. Akhigbe worked under military regimes led by Ibrahim Babangida, Sani Abacha, and Abdulsalami Abubakar, holding positions at various times as a governor or member of the armed forces ruling council. He rose to become the Chief of General Staff under the Abdulsalami Abubakar regime. He was retired from military service in 1999 just as Olusegun Obasanjo took over power as Nigeria’s elected president. The late naval officer, who hailed from Edo State, was 67 years old. http://saharareporters.com/news-page/former-chief-general-staff-admiral-mike-akhigbe-dies-throat-cancer-new-york |

Jonathan has gone mad............ If he dare try this nonsense with Yoruba governors. His forefathers will regret ever producing such a du.mb hegoat Weyrey buruku |
theoctopus: See your foolishness. So all the people attending Lagos schools are Igbo? Then those who say Igbos in Lagos are more than Yoruba must be right. You are shooting yourself in the foot.Anybody that want Lagos state government to cater for the educational needs of his ward must pay tax regardless of his or her tribe. Drill that into your head |
theoctopus: Bloody lie. Stop the useless propaganda! Just like Lagos state used to claim their schools were free until they were exposed for the fraud they are. They cant even admit your kid to a Lagos public school till you bring a tax clearance certificate, even if you have no job! Liars! So you want Lagos to cater for your igbotic children without paying tax? Phuc.k you |

Effort in Futility |
perfectgen: @seanet01, you actually made me laugh because it is evident you have a myopic view about issues that can better your life. The person who would make Nigeria better doesn't have to come from your tribe and if the person who is not letting us make headway in Nigeria happens to come from my tribe, I will never pledge my loyalty to him/her because I want the best for my generation. You are not making any sense. There is nothing bad about being tribalistic |
theoctopus: These guys are making a mockery of the country. See someone who calls himself an anti corruption activist! What a shameless hypocrite! What an Ediot you are |
Foolish OP. There is nothing bad about being Tribalistic Tribalism is a strong feeling of identity with and loyalty to one's tribe or group. Again OP you are foolish and du.mb |
ode. Who said he wanted him recall? He will be made irrelevant in Ekiti. He better port to LP |
Afam4eva: This OKurunmi guy is an 1diot. How did he come to the conclusion that it's only fringe groups that are calling for Nigeria's dismembering and are these fringe groups not made up of Nigerians. I think this conference maybe bound to fail if there are no go areas. He is now an ediot abi? Tinubu will soon be vindicated |
This man is maddddddd |
