There is nothing wrong if u name your pets any name u want... But naming ur pet after a sitting president..... Common we are not in European countries... We have a different cultures that guide us... Try to read the news again, the man parade the dog around the neighborhood, taunting is own president, thereby causing a scare, it was even his neighbors that alert the police...
Did he named the dog "President Muhammadu Buhari"?
The President of Nigeria is PMB and not Buhari

StOla:
Why are some people so self-destructive, suicidal and craving for conflict and anarchy?

The Northerners did not misconstrue his intention. They know him to be a hateful Igbo, the likes of which vent their frustration and misery on this forum and other online media. Now an Ipob member who has forgotten he is not in Aba, has met his match in Buhari's tribesmen. Even if the complainant is claiming to have Buhari as his father's name / surname, it is evident that both defendant and plaintiff are fighting a tribal proxy war over President Buhari.

Can he name his dog Ojukwu or Azikiwe? Imagine a Yoruba man in Nnewi naming his goat Ojukwu, or a Fulani man in Aba naming his dog Nnamdi Kanu and parading it around the IPOB meeting centres? That is the suicidal attribute the Igbos are known for. Imagine using such a revered name in a community populated by Hausa-Fulani? Even if he had named the dog Awolowo, I know his Yoruba hosts may find it repulsive, but would not react violently, resulting in the boldness of the Igbo man who then concludes that Yorubas are cowards and are docile.

Since the Igbo man welcomes bravery and detest the peaceful Yorubas as weaklings, let him celebrate and enjoy the bravery of his Hausa-Fulani neighbours. It is stupidity such as this that was displayed by Igbos in the North, that led to their slaughter in the Northern pogroms as a Northern civilian reaction to the Jan 1966 coup killings of Northern politicians and Army officers.

However, whether the coward directed his friends of hate to eat up his own dog is irrelevant as no case exist here, talk-less of an implication. Nevertheless, the arrested man is safer in that police custody as his bigoted life will be wasted without a second thought, the moment he steps out of police "custodial protection".
We all know the Hausa-Fulani, they don't need to mouth hatred and beat their hollow chest to teach an equally hateful lesson.

See what hate has caused now? His days of peace are over in that community. Except he is released by the police directly at Aba, where his fellow bigoted clansmen will welcome him as a hero who had to runaway from Yorubaland because of Hausa-Fulanis who are his fellow settlers.

After his brain was reset at the police station, hear him declare eternal love for Buhari.
but someone did this

Stop disgracing your old age with this stale question. It is "garbage in" and "garbage out". It is the responsibility of the government to first of all invest on her citizens who will there after invest on her country. Nigeria should not reap from where she did not sow.

MAN COMMITS SUICIDE IN IKOT EKPENE OVER HARDSHIP

BY SITIPPE AKWA IBOM ON AUGUST 9, 2016 NEWS

On what could be termed as tragedy, residents of Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State woke up to the news of the death of a young man Timothy Akan who apparently committed suicide by hanging on a palm tree.

What could have led the young man to take his life can’t be ascertained immediately as no note was left by him to know the reason. As at filing this report, the lifeless body of the young man was still handing on the tree along Stadium Road, Ikot Ekpene.

Calls to the DPO to draft his men to the site has not been returned nor the FRSC Sector Commander. However, only the fire service were willing to the take the body down if the police gives the go ahead.

Speaking with our reporter unknowingly, a resident of Stadium Road who claimed to have known the deceased said Timothy works with one of the Federal Government owned Offices and has been complaining of hardship.

The source who identified himself as Akaninyene said he was shocked to see the lifeless body of Timothy hanging on a tree, describing it has devilish.

PoliticsMeet The Newly Appointed Nigerian Communications Commission Executive Chairman by searay(op): 9:19am On Aug 03, 2016
Meet the newly appointed Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) Executive Chairman, Chief Senator Biyi Durojaiye. He is 83 years old. He was born in 1933.
President Buhari wishes him well in his new assignment.

Olabiyi Durojaiye was elected Senator for the Ogun East constituency of Ogun State, Nigeria at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic, running on the Alliance for Democracy (AD) platform. He took office on 29 May 1999.
He also uses the tribal title Otunba as a pre-nominal style, thereby highlighting his position as a chieftain of the Yoruba people.

Birth and early career

Durojaiye earned a BSc (Economics) London, and an LLB, London. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1979, and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He also graduated from the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru. He worked for 35 years in the Nigerian public sector, including 28 years as a Director of the Central Bank of Nigeria and the National Mint. He worked with the International Monetary Fund, the Federal Reserve System in the U.S.A and the City University London between 1964 and 1982.

Political career[

Durojayi was an elected member of the 1988/89 Constituent Assembly.
In 1992 he was a candidate to run for President of Nigeria on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), losing to M.K.O. Abiola.
Abiola's subsequent election as president was quashed by General Ibrahim Babangida, leading to a return to military rule. In December 1996 Durojayi was arrested by the military regime of General Sani Abacha, and was imprisoned for 560 days and mistreated while in jail.
A June 1997 report stated the 63-year-old lawyer was reportedly in poor health and suffering from high blood pressure caused by his treatment.
Amnesty International designated him a prisoner of conscience and campaigned for his release.

Durojaiye was an elected Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999-2003).
After taking his seat in the Senate he was appointed to committees on Judiciary, Establishment (Chairman) and Special Projects.[6] In December 2002 he recommended a life jail-term for anyone who perpetrated election fraud.
He won the AD primaries to represent the party in the Ogun East constituency in the 2003 elections, although he was threatened with legal action by Chief Adamo Olayinka Yesufu, a rival for the nomination.
In the event, the PDP candidate Tokunbo Ogunbanjo won the election.

Later events

Durojaiye's wife Florence Olufunso Adejoke died on 6 June 2009, aged 72, in Ikeja, two months after she and her husband had marked their 50th wedding anniversary. She was survived by her husband, six children and many grandchildren.
In a March 2010 interview Durojaiye, now in his late 70s, spoke out against the covert way in which President Umaru Yar'Adua's illness was being handled, with the President smuggled back into Nigeria at night and no reports issued on his condition.
