Family / A Father's Day Letter To Their Family: Know How Loved You Were by Godszilla: 12:07pm
Dear Yusef,

There are no words to describe the horrors we have been through these past few months. Last year, we sat around a dinner table as a family of four, making plans for the future. Now it’s just me and you – and our only hope is to survive tomorrow.

I often think back to our family picnic on the beach last summer. Your brother Ismail ran towards the sea and your mother chased after him, both laughing. I sat holding you in the shade and watched them – and I thought to myself: I must be the luckiest man in the world.

But in less than a year, everything has changed.

One day, three months into the war, I went looking for bread. Your brother Ismail had wanted to come too but your mother was sick so I asked him to stay with her. You started to cry and I took you from her arms, hoping to offer some respite. But we returned to find our entire building reduced to rubble after it was hit by an Israeli missile.

You’re too young for any of this, Yusef. At night, you ask me to sing the lullabies your mother sang to put you and Ismail to sleep. But I don’t know all the words. I make up my own funny lines and you giggle.

I’ve always been good at being the funny guy, but you need a father, not a clown. I wonder how long it might take for you to forget your mother and her lullabies. You’ve started asking about her less and less – and don’t cry for her like you used to.

You don’t deserve this, Yusef; no child does.

You should be playing hide and seek with your brother. Instead, you’re crouched here in the dark next to me; hiding from Israeli missiles, seeking protection from the next airstrike.

Every night, I place my hand over your racing heart and am grateful that it is still beating. I thank Allah that you are still alive and pray you’re still here in the morning.

You’ve become used to the sound of explosions now, some nights you even sleep through them. But your tiny body, curled up next to mine, still flinches instinctively.

Every day when we wake, we find the trail of destruction that has been left behind after the bombs. We walk among the debris, your small hand in mine, as we search for food. This is no place for a child.

Amid the death and devastation we experience daily – you are a light that flickers in the darkness, a triumph over fear.

Yusef, if I should die before you, please know how loved you were. I hope you grow up knowing your place in this world. I hope your hands get to pluck olives from the trees. I hope we both get to return to the beach and watch the sunset by the sea.

my son, I want you to know that your very existence is an act of resistance, of freedom and of hope.

It’s not something I can think about right now but I do know this: I will do everything in my power to ensure we survive this war. We will rise from these ashes and continue to exist.

I will teach you how to play football and how to swim. I will learn to cook your mother’s recipes and memorise her lullabies. I will be the best father I can be.

When this war is over, we will pick up all the broken pieces and find a way to make us whole again. That is my promise.

Your father,

Islam for Muslims / Hajj Pilgrims ‘stone The Devil’ As Muslims Mark Eid Al-adha by adenigga(m): 11:44am
Pilgrims performed on Sunday the last major ritual of the hajj, the “stoning of the devil”, in western Saudi Arabia, as Muslims the world over celebrated the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Beginning at dawn, the 1.8 million Muslims undertaking the pilgrimage this year threw seven stones at each of three concrete walls symbolising the devil in the Mina valley, located outside Mecca, the holiest city in Islam.

The ritual commemorates Abraham’s stoning of the devil at the three spots where it is said Satan tried to dissuade him from obeying God’s order to sacrifice his son.

The stoning ritual has been witness to multiple stampedes over the years, most recently in 2015 when up to 2,300 worshippers were killed in the worst hajj disaster.

The site has been revamped since then to streamline the movement of the large crowds.

Roads leading to the concrete walls were nevertheless packed early Sunday, with some pilgrims visibly struggling under the morning sun.

Some sat on the side of the road to rest and drink water, while others stretched out on the ground, apparently exhausted.

On Saturday, temperatures reached 46 degrees Celsius (114.8 degrees Fahrenheit) in Arafat, where pilgrims performed hours of outdoor prayers.

One treatment centre in the area recorded 225 cases of heat stress and fatigue, the official Saudi Press Agency reported.

That figure was not comprehensive. Last year more than 10,000 cases of heat-related illnesses were documented during the hajj, 10 per cent of which were heat stroke, a health ministry spokesman told AFP.

“It was very, very hot,” Rohy Daiseca, a 60-year-old Gambian living in the United States, told AFP on Saturday night as pilgrims collected stones to throw.

“Alhamdulillah (praise be to God), I put a lot of water on my head and it was OK.”

Worshippers have tried to take the gruelling conditions in stride, seizing what for many is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to pray at Islam’s holiest shrines.

“I am so happy that I can’t describe my feelings,” said Amal Mahrouss, a 55-year-old woman from Egypt.

“This place shows us that we are all equal, that there are no differences between Muslims around the world.”

One of the five pillars of Islam, the hajj must be performed at least once by all Muslims with the means.

This year’s figure of 1.8 million pilgrims is similar to last year’s, and Saudi authorities said on Saturday that 1.6 million of them came from abroad.

Feast of the sacrifice

The stoning ritual coincides with Eid al-Adha, or the feast of the sacrifice, which honours Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son before God offered a sheep instead.

Worshippers typically slaughter a sheep and offer part of the meat to the needy.

This year’s hajj and Eid al-Adha holiday have been clouded by the war between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

“We don’t feel the Eid holiday because our brothers in Gaza are oppressed under the (Israeli) occupation,” said Najem Nawwar, a 43-year-old Egyptian pilgrim.

King Salman invited 2,000 Palestinians to the hajj at his own expense including relatives of Gazans who have sought refuge elsewhere.

But Saudi authorities have warned no political slogans would be tolerated during the pilgrimage.

That has not stopped many worshippers from voicing solidarity with Palestinians.

“We pray for them… and for the liberation of Palestine, so that we have two holidays instead of one,” said Wadih Ali Khalifah, a 32-year-old Saudi pilgrim.

In a message to hajj pilgrims on Saturday, Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said “The ironclad resistance of Palestine and the patient, oppressed people of Gaza… must be fully supported in every way”.

Religion / The Father's Blessing by kpakpandoN(m): 6:47am
A father has tremendous power over the lives and destinies of his children. Any wise child will always seek his or her father’s (biological or spiritual) blessings. This is why you must always think of ways to provoke your father to bless you. Unfortunately, these days, most people are after getting material things from their fathers and hardly think of what they can do to make their fathers bless them.

One day, I had just returned from a journey, and two of my spiritual children came to welcome me. The one who got to me first merely greeted me, the other followed suit when he joined us and then proceeded to collect my bags. Immediately he did that, I said to him, “God bless you.” The first son said, “Daddy, you did not say ‘God bless you’ to me.” I responded, “What did you do for me? You saw me carrying these bags, but you didn’t help me.” If you want your father to bless you, you must be ready to do something that will provoke him to do so.

One very important thing about a father’s blessing is that it is irreversible. Even though Isaac realised that he had blessed Jacob instead of Esau, he could not reverse it (Genesis 27:33). This is why you must seek your father’s blessing in every way you can.

Once your father blesses you, you are blessed forever. Nevertheless, blessings are different. Some blessings come from the soul, some from the heart and some from the mouth. When Isaac wanted to bless Esau, he told him to prepare his favourite meal so that after he had eaten it, he could bless him from deep within his soul (Genesis 27:4).

A father can bless three of his children, but one will still be greater than the rest because the father loves that one in a special way. How well does your father love you? Do you often provoke him to pray for you or are you the type that provokes him to anger regularly? Some people hardly send money to their old parents, some hardly call them, while some others don’t even visit them. They may be old and frail now, but their blessings and curses remain very powerful. Whatever you do, ensure that you get as many blessings as possible from your father before he dies.

Religion / The Image Of God by AbundantLife05: 6:21am
ABUNDANT LIFE VISION
The Image of God. Genesis 1:26-28
Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” [27]So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. [28]Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” NLT.

Good morning friends, I welcome you to today’s teaching titled the image of God. I pray that we shall have an experience of the image of God mandate in Jesus name. To delve into our teaching this morning, we need to understand who God is, because what we want to discuss today has to do with Him. If you are a regular follower of the teachings on this page, you will know that I have taught about God severally. Therefore, I will begin with a little recap of some of the things I have written about God.

The simplest description of God is that He is the creator of the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. NLT. Also, He is the creator of everything we can see on earth and in heaven. Gen 1:3-25. Additionally, we can say that He owns everything on earth since He is the creator of them all. Psalms 24:1: The earth is the lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. NLT. The intermediate level of describing God is that He is triune in nature. This is always followed with controversy, people especially non-Christians have a hard time understanding this, they say how can God be three in one? Let me explain this in a simple way. The ancient word “Elohim” means God is in plural form. It is in plural form but it always take singular verbs and pronouns. You can see that God consists of more than one being but this has not explained whether He is three in one or not. Let us look at the scriptures in the Old and New Testaments that talks about the Trinity. Psalms 110:1 and Gen 1:2. The first scripture tells us that God spoke about Jesus and the second scripture reveal the Holy Spirit. Therefore, Jesus alongside the Holy Spirit and God the Father make up the Trinity. In the New Testament, we have the message of Jesus to His disciples. Matthew 28:19: Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the son and the Holy Spirit. NLT.

Also, another intermediate level description of God is that He is the Father of Jesus Christ. This may sound confusing because we have said that Jesus is part of the Trinity. Let me explain better, God created man and woman and He blessed us to be fruitful and multiply. Thus, He does not directly involve Himself in reproduction but He involved Himself in the birth of Jesus when He fathered Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thus, Jesus in human form was the son of God because God fathered Him. Luke 1:35: The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the son of God. NLT.

The third description of God which is the advanced level of description is that God is glorious. This may sound basic but it is not. Our God is a glorious God, He has an aura/atmosphere of glory around Him which is inseparable from Him. The glory of God is manifested in form of light, sound, fire, holiness, and love. for more information, you can check on my teaching titled who is God? Now that we know who God is, what then is the image of God?

The statement image of God is recorded in the Bible in relation to mankind. It is a thing of honour that the first decision the Trinity made in the Bible is in relation to the creation of mankind. There was no discussion about the creation of the stars, moon, land, animals but when God the Father wanted to create man, He consulted with the other members and He emphasized on the need to create man in the image of the Trinity. Therefore, man is not a product of evolution, he is not an accident, he is a work of art designed by the creator. Psalms 139:14: Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. NLT.
Additionally, what are the implications of the man created in the image of God?

1. He has dominion: Gen 1:26

Dominion is not a secondary thing for the man created in the image of God. He was created into dominion not born in dominion. The fact that he is to dominate was established before God created him, he has everything in him to have dominion. Dominion should be natural for him because it is in His nature. The dominion cut across everything on earth, dominion over the sea, the land, and in the sky be it physical or spiritual.

2. There is no gender/racial discrimination in the image of God mandate: Gen 1:27

Just as Apostle Paul mentioned in the Bible that there is no discrimination between genders in Christ as we are all co-heirs alongside Christ. Both man and woman have dominion, dominion is not restricted to the male gender alone, a particular race, and tribe. Galatians 3:25-28: And now that the way of faith has come, we no longer need the law as our guardian. [26]for you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. [27]And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. [28]There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. for you are all one in Christ Jesus. NLT.

3. The one created in the image of God is blessed by God: Gen 1:28

This is not primarily from the financial point of view. This is a pronouncement of fullness of life. Without the blessing of God coming on man, He will have a vain and empty life but with God placing a blessing on him, he is equipped with all he needs to live a life of dominion. The man created in the image of God has dominion, God’s blessing, and the dominion is not restricted to one gender or race. This is what God wants us to have when He created us in His image. We will conclude the teaching in the next teaching.

God bless you.
Romance / This Enemy Is Going About Killing Weak Folks by Mercisharelove(f): 12:13am On Jun 14
When jesus spoke of the world, he was referring to a system, a people who deliberately refused to acknowledge God ALMIGHTIEST as the designer, creator, maker and sustainer and supplier of every good and perfect things.

Notice good and perfect.

There's the good and also the perfect!

Are you of the world system or you are on the LORD side

John 16:8 And when he, the counsellor, sound wisdom, understanding and strength is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

17:13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
Islam for Muslims / Etiquettes of 'Eid Day by Rashduct4luv(m): 3:54pm On Jun 13
'Eid al-Adha or the Festival of Sacrifice holds great significance in Islam as one of the most important celebrations. It is worth noting that Allah, in His wisdom, replaced all previous celebrations with the two Eids, making them the primary occasions for Muslims to come together in worship and celebration.

The act of sacrifice during Eid al-Adha is a symbolic ritual that Muslims perform annually to honor the obedience and devotion of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him). This act commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to Allah's command. However, as a test of his faith, Allah replaced his son with a sheep for sacrifice, showcasing the ultimate submission and trust in the divine will.

The day of Eid al Adha this year falls on Sunday 16th June 2024. We can start killing the animals immediately after the Khutbah of the imam on Sunday 16th June till just before sunset on Wednesday June 19th 2024.

Etiquettes of 'Eid al Adha Prayer
1. Performing Ghusl: It is recommended to perform Ghusl (ritual bath) before going to offer the 'Eid prayer.

2. Dressing Modestly and Neatly: Wear clean and modest clothes that reflect the joy of the occasion without being extravagant or inappropriate. Women are to cover up in Jilbab and Niqab.

3. Eating after 'Eid Prayer: It is Sunnah to delay eating until after the Eid prayer on Eid al-Adha. Best to eat from the cooked animal first.

4. Going to the Prayer Venue on Foot: It is recommended to walk to the prayer venue for 'Eid prayer if it is within walking distance. This practice follows the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

5. Saying Takbir: On the way to the 'Eid prayer and while waiting for the prayer to begin, it is recommended to say the Takbir ("Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahi alhamd"wink.

6. Spreading Joy and Goodwill: Eid is a time of celebration and spreading joy. Greet others in the best possible means and exchange good wishes with family, friends, and neighbors.

7. Avoiding Inappropriate Behavior: Refrain from engaging in activities that are contrary to the spirit of Eid, such as excessive eating, drinking, or any form of inappropriate behavior, dyeing hair to black, use of attachment, drinking alcohol, free mixing with opposite sexes, etc.

The day of 'Eid and the following three days of Tashriq are the days of Eating, drinking and remembrance of Allah!

"The gatherings of 'Eid are among the significant congregations of Muslims. While we gather for prayers in our local mosques five times a day, the Friday congregational prayers at central mosques bring us together in a larger gathering. However, the two Eids witness an even larger congregation. Moreover, the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca gathers Muslims from around the world in unity to worship Allah. We pray to Allah to unite us in a grand and superior congregation behind Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on the Day of Resurrection. Ameen."

Religion / God Will Forgive And Restore You by Btruth: 1:40am On Jun 13
God will forgive and restore you

Thu, 13 Jun 2024

‘Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.’ Psalm 51:2

There is bad news, and there is good news. The bad news is, when David tried to hide his sin, God exposed it to the entire nation. The good news is, when he repented of his sin, God forgave him and expunged his record. And what God did for David, He will do for you. All you have to do is get down on your knees and pray, ‘Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me’ (Psalm 51:2, 10 NKJV).

If you want to know how God responds to such a prayer, here is what He said to Solomon, David’s son: ‘Now if you walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep my statutes and my judgments, then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying, “You shall not fail to have a man on the throne of Israel”’ (1 Kings 9:4-5 NKJV).

Today you may feel that because of your sin you are beyond hope and redemption, that you have forfeited the opportunity to be useful to God and to fulfil your destiny. Don’t believe it! You can recover. You can be restored. You can be forgiven. You can regain your integrity. You can be healed and become whole again. You can sing: ‘There is a fountain filled with blood, drawn from Immanuel’s veins, and sinners plunged beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains.’ The word for today is – God will forgive and restore you. All you have to do is ask Him.

[1] Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

‭2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV‬
[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Every child of GOD has a ministry of reconciliation
‭Proverbs 13:17 KJV‬
[17] A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: But a faithful ambassador is health.

‭Luke 10:2 KJV‬
[2] Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

2. It engenders divine protection
‭Luke 10:18 KJV‬
[18] And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

3. Secures Divine presence which engenders unstoppable breakthroughs; the ultimate return.
‭Matthew 28:19 KJV‬
[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost:

‭Romans 8:31 KJV‬
[31] What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Thank You Jesus.
Sports / Peter Obi Pays Condolence Visit To Tijani Babangida (Photos) by HonNL: 7:29pm On Jun 06
The former Ajax Superstar was involved in a ghastly accident that claimed the lives of his son and younger brother

Today, I visited the Ex-Super Eagles star, Tijiani Babangida, who was involved in a fatal road accident last month in Kaduna. I went to condole with him on the sad loss of his son and his younger brother, Ibrahim Babangida, former Under 17 World Champion, to the tragic accident.

His wife was also injured in the unfortunate incident. I encouraged him not to be despirited by the present painful challenges but continue to rest his hope in God Almighty. One cannot question God.

As a fan who follows the trajectory of our sports stars, I believe they deserve our care and love, having made the nation proud and made us happy by deploying their talents for the good of society.

I was happy to know that his colleagues are in solidarity with him with the former Atlanta 96 Olympic football medalist, Emmanuel Babayero by his side. I pray God Almighty to grant him and his wife quick recovery, forgive the sins of the dead and grant them eternal rest. -PO

Every revelation is access to the seed; Obedience is sowing the seed

(‭Genesis 8:22 KJV‬
[22] While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease

‭Genesis 12:1-4 KJV‬
[1] Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: [2] and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: [3] and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Impossible doors open at the instance of obedience of faith

(‭1 Kings 17:10-15 KJV‬
[10] So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. [11] And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. [12] And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. [13] And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. [14] for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. [15] And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.)

‭2 Kings 4:1-7 KJV‬
[1] Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. [2] And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. [3] Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. [4] And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. [5] So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. [6] And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. [7] Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.

‭Romans 2:11 KJV‬
[11] for there is no respect of persons with God.

‭Acts 10:34 KJV‬
[34] Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

Obedience of Faith gives guaranteed access to our inheritance

‭Romans 6:1-2 KJV‬
[1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

‭1 Corinthians 15:10, 58 KJV‬
[10] But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
[58] Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Obedience gives value to Grace

‭Psalm 112:1-3 KJV‬
[1] Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, That delighteth greatly in his commandments. [2] His seed shall be mighty upon earth: The generation of the upright shall be blessed. [3] Wealth and riches shall be in his house: And his righteousness endureth for ever
.

Obedience of Faith is a matter of choice

‭Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV‬
[19] I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

‭Joshua 24:15 KJV‬
[15] And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Obedience of Faith is behind the rise of giants.

1. Revelation-rooted Obedience is the obedience that works

‭Matthew 13:23 KJV‬
[23] But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

What you don't sow doesn't become fruits

‭Romans 4:20-21 KJV‬
[20] he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; [21] and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

2. Prompt Obedience
‭Genesis 22:3 KJV‬
[3] And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him
.

3. Willful Obedience
‭1 Corinthians 9:17 KJV‬
[17] for if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

‭2 Corinthians 8:12 KJV‬
[12] for if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not
.

Willfulness qualifies us for rewards

Kingdom protocols are well-defined, not subject to amendment

‭James 1:22-25 KJV‬
[22] But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. [23] for if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: [24] for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. [25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed
.

There is no change of story without work. There is the warfare of work- Work is warfare.

Hard times are not coming, they are here

‭Genesis 47:27 KJV‬
[27] And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly
.

No circumstance can affect GOD'S Covenant

‭Jeremiah 33:20-25 KJV‬
[20] Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; [21] then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers. [22] As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me. [23] Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying, [24] Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them. [25] Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth
;

When you subscribe to the condition of Kingdom promises, it shall become a Covenant between you and GOD

No devil can make you partake of the woes of the world once you are in the Covenant.

It is not your environment that determines your destiny, it is your stand in the Covenant.

Your obedience defines the limits of your destiny. Wake up and take responsibility
.

‭Hebrews 13:7 KJV‬
[7] Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Obedience is sweet.

There is peace in the Kingdom, there is struggle in town.

‭1 Samuel 2:30 KJV‬
[30] Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

‭Psalm 75:7 KJV‬
[7] But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins
And accept You as my Lord and Saviour,
I believe you died for me
To make me a new man/woman.
Forgive me all my sins,
wash me with your blood,
And give me a new heart.
Thank you Lord for saving my soul.
Now I believe that I am born again,
And I am a child of GOD.
Amen!

Religion / Two Dreams Of Enoch by PCHC(m): 10:51am On Jun 05
1. And now, my son Methuselah, I will show you all my visions that I have seen, recounting them to you.

2. I had two visions before I got married, and they were very different. The first one was when I was learning to write: the second one I saw a terrible vision before I married your mother.

3. I prayed to the Lord about these visions. I saw in a vision while at my grandfather Mahalaleel's house, the heaven collapse and fall to the earth.

4. When it fell, I saw the earth swallowed up in a great abyss, with mountains, hills, and trees being thrown into the abyss.

5. Then a word came to my mouth, and I cried out, saying, "The earth is destroyed!"

6. my grandfather Mahalaleel woke me up and asked why I was crying and lamenting.

7. I told him the whole vision, and he said, "You have seen a terrible thing, my son, the sin on earth must be destroyed with great destruction."

8. Now, son, pray to the Lord that a remnant may remain on earth, and that He does not destroy it entirely. From heaven, great destruction will come to the earth.

9. After this, I prayed, wrote down my prayer for future generations, and will show you everything, my son Methuselah.

10. After I went outside and saw the sun rise in the east, the moon set in the west, and the stars, I praised the Lord for His creation.

11. I blessed the Lord and spoke with my mouth and tongue that God had created for mankind to speak with.

12. "Blessed be You, O Lord, King, Great and mighty in Your greatness, Lord of all creation of the heaven, King of kings and God of the world.

13. Your power and kingship will last forever, and Your dominion will endure through all generations. All the heavens are Your throne, and the earth Your footstool forever.

14. You have made and rule all things, and nothing is too hard for You.

15. Wisdom does not depart from Your throne or turn away from Your presence.

16. You know, see, and hear everything, and nothing is hidden from You because You see everything.

17. The angels in the heavens have sinned and men's actions have brought upon them God's wrath until the day of judgment.

18. I pray to you, O God, to spare some of mankind on earth and not destroy all flesh, leaving the earth desolate for eternity.

19. Remove from the earth those who have angered You, but let the righteous and upright flourish as an everlasting seed, without turning away from the prayers of Your servant.

20. Following this, I had another dream, and I will share the entire vision with you, my son.

21. Enoch spoke to his son Methuselah, asking him to listen to the dream vision he had before marrying his mother, Edna.

22. In his vision, Enoch saw a white bull come out of the earth, followed by a heifer and two bulls, one black and one red. {Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel}

23. The black bull attacked and chased the red one, causing it to disappear from sight. {Cain eliminated Abel}

24. The black bull grew, accompanied by the heifer, and many oxen resembling him followed. {Cain's wife & seed}

25. The heifer searched for the red bull in vain, lamenting its loss and seeking it desperately. {Eve sought Abel}

26. Eventually, the black bull calmed the heifer and she stopped crying for the red bull.

27. The heifer then bore a white bull and later many white bulls and black cows. {Eve bore Seth and other sons/daughters}

28. The white bull grew to be great and produced more white bulls that resembled him.

29. Enoch saw a star fall from the heavens and feed among the oxen in his sleep. {Fallen Angel feed-fornicate}

30. The large black oxen changed their surroundings and lived together, along with their cattle. {Cain's descendants}

31. More stars descended from heaven to join the first star as bulls, grazing among the cattle. {More fallen angels fornicate}

32. These star-bulls impregnated the cows, leading to the birth of elephants, camels, and asses. {Begot Giants Nephilim}

33. The oxen were frightened by these beings, biting, devouring, and goring each other with their horns.

34. As they started to consume the oxen, the people of the earth trembled in fear and fled from the scene.

35. Witnessing the chaos, Enoch saw the earth cry out as the beings began to attack and eat each other. {Wars of Giants}

36. Looking up to heaven once more, Enoch saw white beings descending, with four of them taking him up to a high tower. {Holy Angels took Enoch into high heavenly place}

37. Three of these beings lifted Enoch away from the earth's inhabitants to show him the tower and the surrounding landscape.

38. Instructed to observe the elephants, camels, asses, stars, and oxen, Enoch watched as one of the beings bound and cast a fallen star into an abyss. {Leader of the fallen angel cast into bottomless pit by one of the Archangels}

39. The narrow and dark abyss was where the fallen star was imprisoned by the being, causing a quake on earth.

40. Another being armed elephants, camels, and asses with swords, leading to a violent confrontation that shook the earth.

41. As Enoch continued to watch, one of the beings cast the stars, resembling horses with human appendages, into an abyss.

42. In a mysterious exchange, one of the beings transformed the white bull into a man who constructed a vessel to live in with three other bulls. {Noah, his 3 sons & the Ark}

43. Once more, Enoch gazed at a vision of a heavenly roof with seven streams of water flowing into an enclosure. {Flood waters from heaven above}

44. Fountains opened on the surface of the enclosure, causing the water to rise and cover the entire area with its swelling tide.

46. The water continued to rise as darkness and mist enveloped it, overflowing and covering the entire enclosure.

47. All the animals gathered in the enclosure sank and perished in the rising water, unable to escape its depths.

48. While the vessel Enoch was shown floated above the water, all the other creatures drowned, disappearing from sight.

49. Enoch watched as the water drained from the high roof, leveling the chasms of the earth and revealing new abysses. {fountains of the deep}

50. As the water receded, light emerged, and the vessel settled on the earth, emerging from the darkness.

51. The transformed white bull emerged from the vessel with three other bulls, each of different colors, one of those three was white like that bull, and one of them was red as blood, and one black: and that white bull departed from them. {White - Shem, Red - Japheth, Black - Ham}

52. A new era began as diverse wild animals and birds emerged, including lions, tigers, wolves, dogs, hyenas, wild boars, foxes, squirrels, swine, falcons, vultures, kites, eagles, and ravens, while a white bull was born among them. {Abraham-white bull was born}

53. The animals started to reproduce and to bite one another, with the white bull giving birth to a wild ass and a white bull, leading to increasing numbers. {Wild Ass - Ishmael, white Bull - Isaac}. And the wild asses {Ishmaelites} multiplied. But that bull {Isaac} which was born from him begat a black wild boar {Esau} and a white sheep {Jacob}; and the former begat many boars, but that sheep begat twelve sheep {12 Tribes}.
54 And when those twelve sheep had grown, they gave up one of them {Joseph} to the asses {Ishmaelites}, and those asses again gave up that sheep to the wolves {Egyptians}, and that sheep grew up among the wolves.

55 And the Lord brought the eleven sheep to live with it and to pasture with it among the wolves: and they multiplied and became many flocks of sheep.

56 And the wolves began to fear them, and they oppressed them until they destroyed their little ones; till they cry aloud on account of their little ones, and to complain to their Lord.

57 And a sheep {Moses} which had been saved from the wolves fled and escaped to the wild asses {Midianites or descendants of Ishmael}; and I saw the sheep how they lamented and cried, and besought their Lord with all their might, till that Lord of the sheep descended at the voice of the sheep from a lofty abode, and came to them and pastured them.

58 And He called that sheep which had escaped the wolves, and spoke with it conceming the wolves that it should admonish them not to touch the sheep.

59. Following the Lord's guidance, the sheep approached the wolves and spoke to them, urging them not to harm the sheep again.

60. Despite the sheep's efforts, the wolves continued to oppress them, leading to further distress and outcry from the sheep.

61. The Lord intervened, causing the sheep to fight back against the wolves, who in turn lamented as the sheep remained calm.

62. Eventually, the sheep were able to escape from the wolves, who were blinded and continued to pursue them with all their might.

63. The Lord led the sheep as their leader, with a dazzling and glorious presence that inspired all the sheep to follow Him.

64. The wolves chased the sheep until they reached a divided sea, where the Lord stood between them, protecting the sheep from the wolves.

65. Unaware of the sheep's presence, the wolves followed them into the sea, only to be engulfed and drowned as the water rose around them.

66. Upon seeing the Lord, the wolves tried to flee, but the sea closed in on them, causing their demise as they were covered by the water.

67. Enoch witnessed the wolves' destruction as they perished in the sea while the sheep escaped to a barren wilderness.

68. In the wilderness, the Lord provided for the sheep, giving them water and grass as the sheep began to perceive their surroundings.

69. A particular sheep led the others to a high rock, where the Lord sent it back to pasture them.

70. The appearance of the Lord filled the sheep with fear and reverence as they trembled before His majesty.

71. The sheep recognized their inability to withstand the Lord's presence, feeling awe-struck by His power.

72. The leading sheep ascended the rock again, but some of the sheep strayed and became blinded, leading to the Lord's anger.

73. The angered Lord descended to the sheep, finding many blind and deviating from the right path.

74. Fearing the Lord's presence, the sheep desired to return to safety, while the leading sheep took action to guide the stray ones back.

75. Through the leading sheep's actions, the lost ones were brought back to the fold, restoring order and unity among the sheep.

76. In the vision, the sheep transformed into a man and built a house for the Lord, housing all the sheep within it.

77. As the previous leader sheep fell asleep, a new generation of sheep emerged, finding nourishment in a pasture by a stream of water. {Aaron died}

78. The transformed human-like leader sheep left their flock, causing the other sheep to seek and mourn for it deeply. {Moses disappeared, though died}

79. After the mourning period, two new sheep emerged as leaders in place of the departed ones, guiding the flock to a good and prosperous land. {Joshua & Phinehas}

80. The sheep found contentment in the pleasant land where the house built for the Lord stood, providing shelter and peace.

81. Periodically, the sheep's vision was clear, but at times obscured, until a new sheep arose and led them back, opening their eyes. {Era of the Judges}

82 And the dogs and the foxes and the wild boars began to devour those sheep till the Lord of the sheep raised up another sheep a ram from their midst, which led them. And that ram began to butt on either side those dogs, foxes, and wild boars till he had destroyed them all. {King era, Saul}

83 And that sheep whose eyes were opened saw that ram, which was amongst the sheep, till it forsook its glory and began to butt those sheep and trampled upon them, and behaved itself unseemly. {Samuel-Sheep with opened eyes}

84 And the Lord of the sheep sent the lamb to another lamb and raised it to being a ram and leader of the sheep instead of that ram which had forsaken its glory. {David}

85 And it went to it and spoke to it alone, and raised it to being a ram, and made it the prince and leader of the sheep; but during all these things those dogs oppressed the sheep. {Dogs-Philistines}

86 And the first ram pursued that second ram, and that second ram arose and fled before it; and I saw till those dogs pulled down the first ram. {Ram 1-Saul, Ram 2-David}

{This is about half the entire dreams Enoch saw: To be continued in the next post}

Romance / Dealing With Parental Consent/blessings In Marriage by Bonab: 10:31am On Jun 05
In the West, the decision to marry is between the man and the woman. The parents doesn't necessarily have to give their consent. Though some of them do it out of respect for their parents, especially the blacks, Indians and Asian families living in the West.

However,in our African clime it is an important tradition to introduce your intending spouse to your parents and to seek for their blessings.

The challenge is that sometimes they may disapprove of our choices of partners and this is where many people are confused on what to do. I often get this kind of cases and it is really a difficult one to handle, especially when the couples are deeply in love with the hope of tying the knot some day.

I have heard of couples who eloped to a different location against their parents wishes and settled there as married couples. Some did it and it eventually worked out fine for them, while others regretted that action.

First, parental blessings and consent are very important, because as a parent you wouldn't want your child to make mistakes in marriage.

Your parents may disagree with your choice of partner for the following reasons.

1) As a result of their findings. Some of them do a thorough background check of the family that their child is going into, because some cultures and families maltreat women a lot. Some practice strange traditions that are un-christian. Some dig deep to find out what you do for a living beyond what you have told them.

2) Observation - through their interactions and observations they may reach some conclusions about your partner. E.g He/she is lazy, rude, arrogant, disrespectful, wasteful with resources etc

3) Social class/Financial standings. Some outrightly rejects your choice because of the low social class or their poor financial standing.

4) Ethnic/Tribal sentiment: some reject your choice because of some prejudices and negative sentiments they have about other tribes. The prejudices are flamed by their negative encounters they have had with other tribes or negatives stories that people tell about others. This is even made worse by Nollywood as they keep repeating some negative narratives about different tribes, which sometimes may be fictitious.

5) Intuitive/instinctive decisions: some parents may tell you that their heart doesn't accept this person even though they don't know why.

The list goes on,but this are the major reasons

What do you do,if you find yourself in such situations.

1) Depending on their reasons, appeal to them, make them see reasons why you chose him/her and assure them them of your love and respect for them even after you have tied the knot with that person. You can involve people they respect so much to speak to them. Getting angry and defying their stands complicates issues.

2) Take time to analyse their reasons. Believe me sometimes they're saving you from serious issues that could arise in the future, which with your current emotional state of mind you're not able to see clearly because you're in love. Some go for thanksgiving after their exes dumped them, because they are now analysing the issues logically with no emotional bias.

3) If you're currently dating with the hope of marrying the person in the future, know that it is disastrous telling your parents every little thing that is happening in your relationship, except if the matter is so serious that you need their input.

Telling them every little thing about your partner will form an impression in their heart which can be negative or positive, hence when you now officially introduce to them your partner for marriage, they'll base their decisions on what you have told them so far, even though you may have exaggerated some of those stories due to your emotional state of mind.

4) for the ladies - when you and your man have exhausted every amicable channels to appeal to the guy's family and they still refused, think careful if you still want to proceed with marrying him in defiance to his parents wishes. I said this because some families are very violent and fetish, they may deploy every means possible to fight you. It is better to marry into a family that loves you than to believe that you will one day win their hearts. Some have succeeded in such situations, while there are some that are still facing severe hostility from their in-laws despite being married for 20years into that family.

I have seen situations where the in-laws violently stopped their daughter in-law from attending her husband's funeral, because they said that the lady forcefully took their son and now has killed him.

5) pray over it. God will reveal to you in prayer if it is actually his wish for you to be yoked in marriage to him/her. If it is his wish,he will divinely move the mountains for your happiness. Even though Pharaoh had refused that Israel should go and serve their God,yet through miraculous ways God liberated his people.

But if it is not God's wish as he would reveal to you in prayer, I will advise you to let go.He may actually be using your parents to save you from marrying the wrong person.

Please share your story on how you were able to resolve this kind of dilemma when you encountered them,so as to help others who are currently facing it.

Religion / When God Wants To Bless You by kpakpandoN(m): 7:11am On Jun 05
In 1 Kings 17:8-16, Elijah came to the widow of Zarephath, who had only one meal left. The Bible says in Luke 4:25-26 that there were many widows in the land, but Elijah was only sent to her. This is because God had chosen to bless her with supernatural provision. Even though God had chosen to bless her, she needed to give something to bring the blessing into manifestation. When Elijah asked for her last meal, she could have said, “You want to take the last meal out of the mouth of a widow and her son? And you call yourself a man of God.” However, she obeyed and brought the meal to Elijah, and from that moment on, lack became a thing of the past in her family.

God is the owner of heaven and earth; He can get whatever He needs without the help of any human being. He said in Psalm 50:10-12 that if He was hungry, He could eat any of the cattle on a thousand hills because they are His. However, as great as He is, He sometimes requests that a man should give Him something. When He does this, it is because He has chosen to bless that man. God could have provided for Elijah in any way; He had been feeding him for months using birds. In 1 Kings 19:4-8, when Elijah was hungry, an angel brought food and water, so when the brook dried up, God could have sent angels to feed him. It was not Elijah that needed help, it was the widow of Zarephath; she was the one in serious need. When God decides to meet your need, I pray that you will not resist His will.

In 2 Kings 4:8-17, you will see the story of the great woman of Shunem. She saw the man of God passing by, and God moved her to invite him to eat. Elisha refused, but the Bible says that she constrained him. Something within her said, “Don’t let that man of God go until you have blessed him.” Elisha ate the meal and kept coming back for more. She kept feeding him and even built an apartment for him. Then one day, God put an end to her barrenness when Elisha prayed for her. God prompted her to do the things she did, and although they cost her money, she got what money couldn’t buy in return. May you cooperate with God on the day He decides to bless you, in Jesus’ name.

Scripture Text: Mathew 6:
21-23

" But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness; every other thing shall be added unto thee" - Mathew 6:33

As a child of God who wants to spend all time with God, your first and most important goal should be to seek God and His kingdom. Anyone at the School of Success who wants to live a good life on earth and finally get to heaven must do everything they can to make that happen.

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 12:1 and Proverbs 1:8–9 that the best time to seek God is when you are young, before bad times, and to follow God's good directions. To make this point even stronger, the book of Proverbs began with some helpful advice. Would you like to do well in life? Do you want to win in life's battlegrounds? You need to first look for God and find Him.

Nobody can see past themselves if they don't have Jesus in their life. Living without Him is like being dumb and a fool who doesn't understand anything. Beloved, this is a tragedy!

Only Jesus Christ, the son of the Living God, can show you the Way and give you the power to become what His Father made you to be. Anyone can know the way of life and do well in life, but not without the Way.

Our human knowledge and skills are limited, but God, who is Wisdom itself, has the key to the storehouse of spiritual understanding and knowledge. So, if you look for Him, you will find Him, and He will lead you (Psalm 32:cool.

Taking all of this into account, you should look for God and Jesus. Learn more about God's world, and the other things in life will be added to you.

To learn more about God, read the Bible. Try to follow the rules set by God, and ask that the Holy Spirit will show you more about the Father and the son.

In the name of Jesus, this discovery and a close connection with the Trinity will help you do well on earth and get to heaven at the end of your life.

God's ever-present spirit will never be with you until you are born again. In order to always win, you have to be born again.

God bless you, in the Mighty Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

Please pray the prayer below with faith, if you want to surrender your life to Christ today:

"Please come into my life, Lord Jesus. I believe that You are my Lord and Savior. In my heart, I believe that You died and rose again to save me. Please forgive me for my sins. I say bye-bye to the devil. I enter the Kingdom of Light. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Congratulations!!!

Peace!

Olukoya: Why Are You Fighting Your Church Members? By Temitope Thomas

June 2, 2024
OPINION

But come to think of it, doesn’t Olukoya need deliverance from the spirit of vengeance? Why is he chasing people who once called him Daddy?

Sometime in December 2023, I visited a mechanic workshop on Olasimbo Street, Onike, Lagos, where the headquarters of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry, popularly known as MFM, is located. The workshop is right opposite one of the properties of MFM and people from the church headquarters moved in and out of a building which is either the healing or music school of the church. I can’t remember now.

One incident that caught my attention that morning was the action of a house owner on Olasimbo Street. The man could not move out of his house because his gate had been blocked by an MFM vehicle. After waiting for some minutes without the arrival of the driver of that vehicle, the man lost patience and shattered the windscreen of the vehicle. He also deflated the tyres and asked the church to meet him at the police station. His action attracted a crowd; the church members who tried to pacify him but failed watched in pity.

While analysing the issue, one of them said the man’s action was borne out of jealousy. He said they hated Dr Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, General Overseer of MFM, but the Man of God has continued to thrive despite hatred. He gave the impression of Olukoya aligning with the Bible in Matthew 11:29, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart.” But in reality, Olukoya’s actions portray him as the exact opposite of that Biblical portion.

Let’s make no mistake, if the history of Pentecostalism were to be told in Nigeria today, Dr Daniel Kolawole Olukoya sits comfortably in the rank of the first five. A distinguished scholar and General in the Lord’s Army, Olukoya commands admiration and deep respect. He is in the class of Pastor William Kumuyi, General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry; Bishop David Oyedepo, Living Faith Church Worldwide; Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Redeem Christian Church of God, among a select few.

With a first-class degree in Microbiology, Olukoya is no doubt a distinguished academic. His ministry is also doing well across the world, meaning he has literarily conquered both academic and religious worlds.

However, it is sad that among the names mentioned in the first paragraph, Olukoya is the only one who is found on pages of newspapers and blogs over issues that could supposedly be resolved amicably. In Exodus 14: 14, the Bible says, "The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." But that portion is probably missing in Olukoya's Bible. Just last week, two explosive interviews were released on YouTube and the reputational damage that these videos have done cannot be recovered, no matter the PR stunt.

Yes, there are persons who fear and respect Olukoya and would not care to watch or listen to what Barrister Davidson Adejuwon, Chief Legal Adviser to Mountain of Fire Miracles Ministries (MFM), dismissed as lies. But anyone who watched the videos would wonder why the approach Olukoya used against members who fell out with him nearly two decades ago is being sustained till now.

In 2008, Caleb Oloruntele, former Head of Traffic Ushers at MFM Headquarters in Lagos, was arrested alongside Femi Jimoh, a one-time Pastor of the church. The duo did not regain freedom until 2016, meaning they spent 9 years of their lives in trouble over allegations which the court discharged and acquitted them. According to the narrative, they were framed by the church authorities. Many attempts to make Olukoya and the church reconcile with them failed.

As I type this, Richard Akintunde, former lead backup singer of Olukoya, is in detention over allegations of cyberbullying. This shows that Olukoya has sustained the same repressive measures against members who fell out with him. This is in addition to several court cases filed against those who left MFM. So, where's the forgiveness? In Oloruntele's words, "Olukoya preaches forgiveness and repentance but he practices none."

This reminds me of what was said about the late TB Joshua by one of his former disciples. In a 150-minute-long investigative report carried out by the BBC Africa Eye, titled "Disciples: The Cult of TB Joshua," which featured testimonies from former disciples and church workers, Paul Agomoh said TB Joshua preached forgiveness but never forgave.

One after the other, church members whom Joshua fell out with exposed the decades-old rot at The Synagogue Church of All Nations. Agomoh disclosed that he had to go into hiding for nearly eight years, after his initial attempt to expose the activities of the late prophet.

“I was the first prophet of the Synagogue church, and I spent more than a decade in the Synagogue between 1995 and 2006. And I just want to thank the BBC. This is a journey I started in 2009. I released a video with Sister Bisola, 'The Deception of the Age'. When I left there, the incident that led to my leaving is not a story I can finish here. It is a terrible experience. I decided to leave. When I left, I could not sleep, I could not rest."

The burden was so much on me. I had to move out with the help of some pastors in ministry, and my friend, Samuel Odugbesan, who lost his arms working with an electricity company.

"We brought this out, but a lot of people said 'Agomoh has come, he is blaspheming against our man of God'. They started chasing me everywhere. for a good eight years, I lay low, not doing any ministerial job, not doing any public jobs. I lay low, just with the help of a few pastors. About three years ago, was when I started coming out gradually. I was pursued everywhere, from here to Cotonou, you know these are the nearest places you can run to, from Cotonou to Ghana, back to Lagos, I was running," he had said.

I know for a fact that the last thing Olukoya wants is to be compared with a man like TB Joshua whom he no doubt feels needs deliverance. But come to think of it, doesn't Olukoya need deliverance from the spirit of vengeance? Why is he chasing people who once called him Daddy?

Richard Akintunde, Femi Jimoh, Funke Asekun, Maureen Badejo, Sunday Olowoyeye. We can go on and on.

In his over two-hour account of his ordeal, which he linked to Olukoya, Pastor Jimoh said, "He never believed that a father could hand his son over to the dogs."

The height for me was when Oloruntele said if he had known, he would have continued with Islam, the religion of his father. He got converted to Christianity and spent years working for MFM but today he is half dead as a result of the trial the church exposed him to.

Pastor Jimoh said at a point in his journey, he had to return to Islam in order to drink water in the cell as they were left thirsting for hours until the time when the Muslim faithful wanted to pray. GO, sir, forget the sycophants trudging you on, search your conscience and ask yourself if the body of Christ truly deserve this from you. Are you not supposed to be the ambassador of faith? How far can you and your policemen go to tame your enemies? Truth be told, you are fighting a lost battle. You can use all your connections and wealth to intimidate and ruin lives but the truth cannot be hidden. You can't ever cow people into silence.

Even General Sani Abacha with all his powers failed in his mission to suppress critics. I have a strong feeling that you can never crush those you oppress into silence. The underdogs would always live to tell their story. Nigeria is a country with numerous challenges on several fronts. It is disheartening that men like Olukoya who ought to inspire confidence under this dark atmosphere are walking an ignominious path. I won't be surprised if Olukoya sends his policemen after me over this piece. Woe unto the men who can tame the body but can't crush the soul.

Religion / Faith: Ask And You Shall Receive by AbundantLife05: 6:45am On Jun 02
ABUNDANT LIFE VISION
Faith: Ask and You Shall Receive. Luke 11:9-13
“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. [10]for everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. [11]“You fathers—if your children ask for a fish, do you give them a snake instead? [12]Or if they ask for an egg, do you give them a scorpion? Of course not! [13]So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.” NLT.

Goof morning dear friends, I hope we had a great week last week. I pray that God shall be enough for us this month and His word shall fill our hearts for His glory in Jesus name. We will continue our teaching series titled faith today. Last week, I explained that faith simply means to believe and that the first point of believing is to believe in Jesus Christ as God and saviour. Our Faith in Jesus Christ is what saves us from sin and the nature of sin we have inherited. Also, our faith in Jesus gives us eternal life because eternal life is only found in Christ.

Today, we will look at the second dimension of faith which is our faith in God to receiving from Him. Let’s start from here, there is a piece of God in us (believers) in form of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the being in the Trinity that is in charge of power. Romans 8:15-16: So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” [16]for his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are ²God’s children. NLT. Acts of the Apostles 1:8: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” NLT.

As children of God, we have power to ask and receive what we ask for in the name of Jesus. It is our reality not some fantasy. However, asking and receiving seems to be difficult for a lot of Christians because we do not have evidence of answered prayers. Therefore, faith in God to receive seem to be a mirage. Despite this, the Bible says that we can receive from God. Let us explore these steps one after the other from our text.

1. We need to understand that God is ever ready to give us what we need: Luke 11:11-13

God is our heavenly father, He is the father of fathers, our earthly fathers know how to give good gifts to their children, why can’t God give us what we ask for? This is the question Jesus asked His disciples while explaining to them that God can give us what we ask for. As long as we believe that God can give us what we ask Him, he has the capacity to give it to us. John 14:13-14: You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the son can bring glory to the Father. [14]Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! NLT. Proverbs 10:24: The fears of the wicked will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted. NLT. We must not doubt in our hearts as we do so. Mark 11:23: I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. NLT.

2. We receive from God by being persistent in the place of prayer: Luke 11:9-10

Prayer should be the lifestyle of every believer. We pray to empower our spirit in order to face whatever comes our way and have dominion. Persistence in the place of prayer is in two ways. The first is in labour to pray always. Luke 18:1: One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. NLT. When we pray always, we increase our spiritual capacity which is like a battery being charged. Thus capacity stored is where we draw power to tackle anything that comes our way. When the disciples of Jesus failed to cast out demon in boy, the reason for their failure was not that they did not believe, they believed but they did not have the capacity to receive because they were powerless as a result of their prayerlessness. Mark 9:29: Jesus replied, “This kind can be cast out only by prayer.” NLT. There is a relationship between faith and prayer. Most times, we believe in God but we do not pray until we face a problem, it is at that point we ask for things from God and we fail to receive. We do not realize that prayerlessness makes us weak in the spirit. A man who is prayerless cannot be strong in faith.

The second aspect of prayer as it relates to faith is being persistent in praying in order to receive from God no matter how long it takes. This is where pray until something happens (PUSH) comes in. At times, we ask once and go to bed not knowing that there is a spiritual principle of persistence. Keep on asking in the place or pray until you receive. Luke 18:1-7: One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. [2]“There was a judge in a certain city,” he said, “who neither feared God nor cared about people. [3]A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ [4]The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, [5]but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’” [6]Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. [7]Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? NLT.

3. We need to ask according to the will of God:
At times, when we fail to receive from God, it is because we do not ask according to the will of the Father. We cannot say we want to receive what is not captured in the will of God and expect God to grant such desire. We ask in accordance to the will of God and His will is captured in His word. So, when we ask from God, we ask based on what we have in the Bible regarding what we are asking for. When we ask in accordance to the word of God, out request gives glory to God. Therefore, He has no choice than to give is what we ask for.

Finally, God has no reason not to give us what we ask for, He can do far exceedingly above what we can ask for or imagine. Ephesians 3:20. We should take responsibility in investing in prayer and asking in accordance to the word of God and we will surely receive. If we do not receive from Him, it is not the design of God, it is our failure to properly engage in principles needed to receive from Him.

God bless you.

Religion / Three Great Epoch Of The World's History --their Distinctive Features by coputa(m): 12:51am On Jun 02
AS SOME ignorantly misjudge the skill and wisdom of a great architect and builder by his unfinished work, so also many in their ignorance now misjudge God by his unfinished work; but by and by, when the rough scaffolding of evil, which has been permitted for man's discipline, and which shall finally be overruled for his good, has been removed, and the rubbish cleared away, God's finished work will universally declare his infinite wisdom and power; and his plans will be seen to be in harmony with his glorious character.

Since God tells us that he has a definitely fixed purpose, and that all his purposes shall be accomplished, it behooves us, as his children, to inquire diligently what those plans are, that we may be found in harmony with them. Notice how emphatically Jehovah affirms the fixedness of his purpose: "Jehovah of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it be." "The Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it?" "I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,...my counsel shall stand,

and I will do all my pleasure:...Yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it." Isa 14:24-27 ; Isa 46:9-11 ) Therefore, however haphazard or mysterious God's dealings with men may appear, those who believe this testimony of his Word must acknowledge that his original and unalterable plan has been, and still is, progressing systematically to completion.

While the mass of mankind, groping in the darkness of ignorance, must await the actual developments of God's plan, before they can realize the glorious character of the Divine Architect, it is the privilege of the child of God to see by faith and the light of his lamp the foretold glories of the future, and thereby to appreciate the otherwise mysterious dealings of the past and the present. Therefore, as interested sons of God, and heirs of a promised inheritance, we apply to our Father's Word, that we may understand his purposes from the plans and specifications therein given. There we learn that the plan of God, with reference to man, spans three great periods of time, beginning with man's creation and reaching into the illimitable future. Peter and Paul designate these periods "three worlds," which we represent in the following diagram.

These three great epochs represent three distinct manifestations of divine providence. The first, from creation to

the flood, was under the ministration of angels, and is called by Peter "THE WORLD THAT WAS." 2Pe 3:6

The second great epoch, from the flood to the establishment of the kingdom of God, is under the limited control of Satan, "the prince of this world," and is therefore called "THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD." Gal 1:4 ; 2Pe 3:7

The third is to be a "world without end" Isa 45:17 ) under divine administration, the kingdom of God, and is called "THE WORLD TO COME--wherein dwelleth righteousness." Heb 2:5 ; 2Pe 3:13

The first of these periods, or "worlds," under the ministration of angels, was a failure; the second, under the rule of Satan, the usurper, has been indeed an "evil world"; but the third will be an era of righteousness and of blessing to all the families of the earth.

The last two of these "worlds" are most particularly mentioned, and the statements relative to them are in strong contrast. The present, or second period, is called "the present evil world," not because there is nothing good in it, but because in it evil is permitted to predominate. "Now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered." Mal 3:15 ) The third world or epoch is mentioned as "THE WORLD TO COME-- wherein dwelleth righteousness ," not because there will be no evil in it, but because evil will not predominate. The blotting out of evil will be gradual, requiring all of the first thousand years. Evil will not rule then; it will not prosper; it will no longer be the wicked that will flourish; but "the righteous shall flourish" Psa 72:7 ), the "obedient shall eat the good of the land" Isa 1:19 ), and "the evil doer shall be cut off." Psa 37:9

Thus seen, the next dispensation is to be so dissimilar as to be the very reverse of the present one in almost every particular. Our Lord's words show why there is to be a

difference between the present and the future dispensations. It is because he will be the prince or ruler of the world to come, that in it righteousness and truth will prosper; while, because Satan is the prince (ruler) of the present evil world, evil prospers and the wicked flourish. It is because, as Jesus said, the prince of this world "hath nothing in me"--and consequently no interest in his followers except to oppose, tempt, annoy and buffet them Joh 14:30 ; 2Co 12:7 )--that in this present evil world or epoch, whosoever will live godly shall suffer persecution, while the wicked flourish like a green bay tree. 2Ti 3:12 ; Psa_37:35

Jesus said, "my kingdom is not of this world," and until the era or "world to come" does come , Christ's kingdom will not control the earth. And for this we are taught to hope and pray, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth." Satan is the "ruler of the darkness of this world," and therefore "darkness covers the earth and gross darkness the people." He now rules and works in the hearts of the children of disobedience. Eph 2:2 ; Eph 6:12

There must be some very important part of the great Architect's plan for man's salvation not yet fully developed-- else the new prince and the new dispensation would have been long ago introduced. Why it was postponed for an appointed time, and also the manner of the change from the present dominion of evil under Satan to that of righteousness under Christ, are points of interest which will be more fully shown hereafter. Suffice it now to say, that the kingdoms of this world, now subject to Satan, are at the proper time to become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ. Rev 11:15 ) The context shows that the transfer will be accomplished by a general time of trouble. In reference to it Jesus said, "No man can enter into a strong man's house and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the

strong man, and then he will spoil his house." Mar 3:22-27 ) Thus we are taught that Satan must first be bound, restrained and deposed, before Christ's reign of righteousness and peace can be established. This binding of Satan is accordingly shown to be the first work of the new dispensation. Rev 20:2

It should be remembered that this earth is the basis of all these "worlds" and dispensations, and that though ages pass and dispensations change, still the earth continues-- "The earth abideth forever." Ecc 1:4 ) Carrying out the same figure, Peter calls each of these periods a separate heavens and earth. Here the word heavens symbolizes the higher or spiritual controlling powers, and earth symbolizes human government and social arrangements. Thus the first heavens and earth, or the order and arrangement of things then existing, having served their purpose, ended at the flood. But the physical heavens (sky and atmosphere), and the physical earth, did not pass away: they remained. So likewise the present world (heavens and earth) will pass away with a great noise, fire and melting--confusion, trouble and dissolution. The strong man (Satan), being bound, will struggle to retain his power. The present order or arrangement of government and society, not that of the physical sky and earth, will pass away. The present heavens (powers of spiritual control) must give place to the "new heavens"--Christ's spiritual control. The present earth (human society as now organized under Satan's control) must (symbolically) melt and be dissolved, in the beginning of the "Day of the Lord," which "shall burn as an oven." Mal 4:1 ) It will be succeeded by "a new earth," i.e., society reorganized in harmony with earth's new Prince--Christ. Righteousness, peace and love will rule among men when present arrangements have given place to the new and better kingdom, the basis of which will be the strictest justice.

Paul was given a glimpse of the next dispensation, or, as he calls it, "the world to come." He says he was "caught away" (physically or mentally, or both, he could not tell, things were so real to his view) down the stream of time to the new condition of things, the "new heaven," hence the "third heaven." He thus saw things as they will be under the spiritual control of Christ, things which he might not disclose. 2Co 12:2-4 ) Doubtless these were the same things which John afterward saw, and was permitted to express to the Church in symbols , which may only be understood as they become due. John, in the revelation given to him by our Lord on the Isle of Patmos, was in vision carried down through this Christian Age and its changing scenes of church and state, to the end of the present evil world, or epoch, and there in prophetic visions he saw Satan bound, Christ reigning, and the new heaven and the new earth established; for the former heaven and earth were passed away. Rev 21:1

Ages or Dispensations

The first of these great epochs ("worlds"wink was not subdivided: God's method of dealing with men did not vary during all that time--from Adam's fall to the flood. God had given man his law, written in his very nature; but after he had sinned he left him measurably to his own course, which was downward, "evil, and that continually," that thus man

might realize his folly, and that the wisdom of God in commanding absolute obedience might be made manifest. That dispensation ended with a flood, which took away all but faithful Noah and his family. Thus the first dispensation not only manifested the disastrous effects of sin, but showed that the tendency of sin is downward to greater degradation and misery, and proves the necessity of Jehovah's interposition, if the recovery of "that which was lost"--man's first estate--is ever to be accomplished.

The second epoch, or "world that now is," includes three ages, each a step in the plan of God for the overthrow of evil. Each step is higher than that preceding it, and carries the plan forward and nearer to completion.

The third great epoch--"the world to come"--future from the second advent of Christ, comprises the Millennial Age, or "times of restitution"; and following it are other "ages to come," the particulars of which are not revealed. Present revelations treat of man's recovery from sin, and not of the eternity of glory to follow.

The first age in the "world that now is" we call the PATRIARCHAL AGE, or dispensation, because during that period God's dealings and favors were with a few individuals only, the remainder of mankind being almost ignored. Such favored ones were the patriarchs Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Each of these in turn seems to have been God's favored one. At the death of Jacob, that age or order of dealing ended. At Jacob's death, his descendants were first called "the twelve tribes of Israel," and were together recognized of God as his "peculiar people"; and through typical sacrifices they were typically "a holy nation," separated from other nations for a particular purpose, and therefore to enjoy certain special favors. The time allotted to this feature of the divine plan, beginning here and ending at the death of Christ, we designate the JEWISH AGE, or the Law

dispensation. During that age God specially blessed that nation. He gave them his law; he made a special covenant with them; he gave them the Tabernacle, whose shekinah glory in the Most Holy represented Jehovah's presence with them as their Leader and King. To them he sent the prophets, and finally his son. Jesus performed his miracles and taught in their midst, and would neither go to others himself, nor permit his disciples to go to the surrounding nations. He sent them out, saying, "Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not; but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Mat 10:5-6 ) And again he said, "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Mat 15:24 ) That this national favor ended with their rejection and crucifixion of Jesus is shown by Jesus' words, when, five days before his crucifixion, he declared, "Your house is left unto you desolate." Mat 23:38

There, at Jesus' death, a new age began--the CHRISTIAN AGE or GOSPEL DISPENSATION, wherein should be heralded good tidings of justification, not to the Jew only, but to all nations; for Jesus Christ, by the grace of God, tasted death for every man. During this Gospel age also there is a class called to special favor, to whom special promises are made; namely, those who by faith accept Christ Jesus as their Redeemer and Lord, following in his footsteps. The gospel proclamation has gone hither and thither through the earth for nearly nineteen hundred years, so that it can now be said that it has been preached more or less in every nation . It has not converted nations--it was not designed to do so in this age; but it has selected here and there some, in all a "little flock," as Jesus had foretold Luk 12:32 ), to whom it is the Father's good pleasure to give the Kingdom in an age to follow this.

With this age the "present evil world" ends; and mark well that while God has been thus permitting the predominance and reign of evil, to the seeming detriment of his cause, nevertheless his deep designs have been steadily progressing according to a fixed and definite plan, and in the exact order of the seasons which he has appointed. In the end of this age, and the dawn of its successor, the Millennial age, Satan is to be bound and his power overthrown, preparatory to the establishment of Christ's kingdom and the beginning of "the world to come, wherein dwelleth righteousness."

Millennium, signifying a thousand years, is by common consent used as the name for the period mentioned in Rev 20:4 --the thousand years of Christ's reign, the first age in the "world to come." During the Millennial age, there will be a restitution of all things lost by the fall of Adam Act 3:19-21 ), and before its close all tears shall have been wiped away. Beyond its boundary, in the ages of blessedness to follow, there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying; neither shall there be any more pain. The former things will have passed away. Rev 21:4 ) God's revelations particularize no further, and there we stop.

We have here only glanced at the mere outline of this plan of the ages. The more we examine it, the more we will find in it perfect harmony, beauty and order. Each age has its part to accomplish, necessary to the complete development of God's plan as a whole. The plan is a progressive one, gradually unfolding from age to age, upward and onward to the grand consummation of the original design of the Divine Architect, "who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will." Eph 1:11 ) Not one of these great periods is an hour too long or too short for the accomplishment of its object. God is a wise economist of both time

and means, though his resources are infinite; and no power, however malicious, for a moment retards or thwarts his purposes. All things, evil as well as good, under divine supervision and overruling, are working together for the accomplishment of his will.

To an uninstructed and undisciplined mind, which can see only a little of the intricate machinery of God's plan, it appears like anarchy, confusion and failure, just as the whole, or even a part, of an intricate machine would appear to a child. To its immature and untutored mind it is incomprehensible, and the opposite motions of its wheels and belts are but confusion. But maturity and investigation will show that the seeming confusion is beautiful harmony, working good results. The machine, however, was as truly a success before the child understood its operation as after. So, while God's plan is, and has been for ages, in successful operation, man has been receiving the necessary discipline, not only to enable him to understand its intricate workings, but also to experience its blessed results.

As we pursue our study of the divine plan, it is essential that we keep in memory these ages and their respective peculiarities and objects; for in no one of them can the plan be seen, but in all of them , even as a link is not a chain, but several links united form a chain. We obtain correct ideas of the whole plan by noting the distinctive features of each part, and thus we are enabled to divide rightly the Word of truth.

A statement of the Word which belongs to one epoch, or dispensation, should not be applied to another, as things stated of one age are not always true of another. for instance, it would be an untruth to say of the present time that the knowledge of the Lord fills the whole earth, or that there is no need to say to your neighbor, Know the Lord.

Isa 11:9 ; Jer 31:34 ) This is not true in this age, and it cannot be true until the Lord, having come again, has established his kingdom; for throughout this age there have been many seducing deceptions, and we are told that even in the very end of the age--" In the last days ...evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." 2Ti 3:1 , 2Ti 3:13 ) It will be as the result of Messiah's reign during the Millennial age that knowledge and righteousness shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.

A similar mistake, and a very common one, is to suppose that God's kingdom is now established and ruling over the earth, and that his will is now done among the nations. This is manifestly far from the truth, for the kingdoms of this world are supported and enriched through oppression, injustice and deceit, to as great an extent as the increasing intelligence of the people will permit. Satan, the present "prince of this world," must yet be displaced, and these kingdoms, now under his control, must become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Anointed, when he shall take unto himself his great power, and reign.

Introduction to the Concept of the Trinity

https://www.facebook.com/ajayi.m.christian

Jesus is the Word (the hardware of the Kingdom, the solid).

3 things make up the universe and nothing else; solid, liquid and gas.

Just as there are 3 in Heaven also; GOD the FATHER, GOD the son, GOD the Spirit.

There are also 3 things that bear Spiritual records, Physical records and Scientific records on earth.

Scientific witnesses on Earth are; Solid, Liquid, Gas

Spiritual witnesses in Heaven are; GOD the FATHER, GOD the son, GOD the Spirit
(‭1 John 5:7 KJV‬
[7] for there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.)

Spiritual witnesses on Earth are; The Spirit, the Water, the Blood
(‭1 John 5:8 KJV‬
[8] And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one)

These 3 are inseparable and are one.
‭Isaiah 9:6 KJV‬
[6] for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting FATHER, The Prince of Peace
.

Modus Operandi

Meanwhile, they are different in operations (modus operandi), just like we have the solid, liquid and gas.
They have different modus operandi but they are one.

Example; Me and my wife are one, but there are modus operandi my wife can handle that I can't do like bathing the children, wakeup by 4.30am to cook the food. If I do so I can faint. Women are wired in such a way but still, we are one.
A man is a thinker, visionaire, see ahead, can lead but women can't. When you call me to make you food, although you are speaking to the right person but I'll redirect to my wife that you are hungry and to make you some food, because I know you don't know because of balablu ignorance.

Same way when we are traveling, she can't drive the distance, that's why it is so good for you to understand their modus operandi when you are speaking in prayer, and not to break the bureaucracy. That's what we call prayer of understanding

Religion / Do You Know The Truth by FrankB1: 5:43am On May 31
John 18:33-38:

33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?

34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?

35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?

36 Jesus answered, my kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

People talk about submitting to God, but one of the main ways people need to submit is in their thinking, submitting to his way of thinking. Renew your way of thinking to his way of thinking. God's way of thinking is spiritual, notice Romans 8:6 for to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. In submitting to God's way of thinking you need to understand that God's way of thinking is truth John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. That's why Romans 3:3,4 says, for what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar. So, if it's not in line with God's word then it's not truth, now it might be fact, but even fact is not truth. In fact, a lot of times they are opposites and people think they are the same, but they are not. And it's important that you know what's truth and what's fact. Because, Jesus said in John 8:31,32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Notice, he didn't say anything about facts making you free, he said truth will make you free. As long as you hold on to the fact then you are separated from the truth. A fact is- Fact is basically something that exists, or is present in reality. Hence, these are things that can be seen visually, and these are the things that can actually be verified. It is not just something that you believe, but rather these are more or less the things that can be observed empirically, or by the senses. So, facts can be seen and heard, as well as proven by the other senses (So, facts are physical). What is truth- Truth can be described as the true state of a certain matter.

So, when the scripture says, for we walk by faith and not by sight you could just as easily say for we walk by truth and not by fact. Because, facts deals with the senses(the physical realm) and truth deals with the word which is spiritual. Truth is a reality, it's a spiritual reality. Reality-the state of having existence or substance. So, just like you have this realm of physical reality, there is also a realm of spiritual reality. 2 Kings 6:14-17 here is when the king of Syria sent his army to capture the man of God Elisha: 14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about. 15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? 16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. Question, where those horses and chariots of fire just as real as those soldiers, yes. So, spiritual reality is just as real as physical reality, they both have substance just different forms of substance. We have two different forms of substance one spirit and one flesh, is the flesh more real than the spirit, no. Your spirit is eternal, everlasting your flesh isn't. Truth is not defined by experience or what you have concluded, truth is defined by what the word says truth is. And it's quite clear God says that what He says is truth so anything contrary can't be truth, it can be fact , but not truth. Truth is a higher reality than fact.

And what we have now is a lot of people writing books and telling their experience and what they learned, but just because you experience something or learned something doesn't make it truth. And people accept what they experience and learn as truth. So, they let experience form their beliefs instead of the word. That's when your mind needs to be renewed to the word. And then you have people trying to live their lives based on someone else's experience and perceptions like that's truth. Perception-the act or ability of using the senses to become aware of or understand things. That keeps you living by facts, God wants you living by his truth. You see in Numbers 13 when Moses sent out 12 spies to spy out the promise land after 40 days they came back and reported to Moses--the land is there just like God said, here's some of the fruit (grapes that were so big it took two men to carry one cluster of grapes), but 10 of them said, Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. There are giants in the land and we were like grasshoppers. But, Joshua and Caleb said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. But, what did the people do, they accepted the word of the 10 and as a result the wondered in the desert 40 years. They accepted someone else's perception, and lived out the rest of their lives because of it. Except the two that said, Let us go up at once for we are well able. They made it in because they didn't let what they saw dictate what they believed.

You see in Deu. 1:6-8 what God had told them, and it reads- 6 The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: 7 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates. 8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them. So, what was the difference? 10 were looking at the giants or (the fact) and two were looking at the word or (the truth). Now, what you look at is important 2 Cor. 4:16-18- 16 for which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.(So again we are talking about 2 realities a natural one and spiritual one) 17 for our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. What you look at or focus on is important because we speak according to what we see. Notice, what Caleb told Joshua in Joshua 14:7, Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart. He was not focusing on what he saw physically, he was only focusing on what God said. And he simply spoke according to what he saw, victory and not defeat.

Notice, God wanted them to do one thing, but all that said they could not and those that agreed with them did not. And those that agreed with what God said received what He said, because God needs your agreement. Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Even back from the beginning in Genesis 2:19 it says, And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Notice, God brought the animals to Adam to see what he would call them, not name them. They had names, but God wanted the names in heaven to be the names on the earth, but Adam had to call them as God called them. If Adam had called them something else then what Adam called them would have been the names on the earth, but not in heaven. What does The Lord's Prayer say, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." So, it's possible for God's will in heaven not to be done on earth, because if it's not possible why pray it, so it has to be possible. In Matthew 16 when Jesus asked the disciples who they thought he was it reads: 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Notice, "Blessed are thou" why because God showed him something and you agreed with it. And verse 19 in the Amplified Translation says, I will give you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth will have [already] been loosed in heaven.” What is that? agreement, for it to be on earth as it is in heaven you/mankind has to agree with heaven. Psalm 119:89 for ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven, but you have to settle it on the earth for you by your agreement. Take Abraham for instance, in Genesis 13:16 God told him, And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. And in Genesis 15:1-4 it reads, After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. 2 And Abram said, Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? 3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
4 And, behold, the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

Look at how he's talking, so what did God do in Genesis 17:4,5,15 it reads: As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 15 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. Notice, what God is doing getting them to come into agreement with him Abram means high father and Abraham means father of a multitude and Saria means my princess and Sarah means Princess of nations. Notice, for them to receive from God they had to come into agreement with God. Another thing is The Holy Spirit works with and through the word even from the beginning, Genesis 1:1-3: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Notice, what it says in the first part of Isaiah 44:26- That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers. Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Don't mistake the word preach, it simply means to proclaim, speak forth. Notice, when the word goes out The Holy Spirit confirms it. Notice, He confirms the word and not the man. 2 Chronicles 20:20 Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. It's not the man that prospers you, it's the word he has that prospers you. It's never about the man it's always about the word.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. See, it's about the word not the man. So, if there's no word going forth then The Holy Spirit is limited in what he can do. The Holy Spirit is called The Spirit Of Truth and as long as you are speaking facts/the circumstances he's limited. It's The Holy Spirit that reveals the word to you. In John 16:13 it reads, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. The Holy Spirit will never speak anything contrary to God's written word. 1 Corinthians 2:9,10,14- 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Someone come to you and tell you they have a hot revelation from The Holy Spirit and you can't confirm it/verify it in the word, revelation no good. I don't care how good it might sound it did not come from The Holy Spirit. The thing about God's word being truth, you can't catch truth with your senses. Because, God's truth is outside of the realm of the senses. So, if you look for your senses to tell you what's truth most likely you'll miss it.

Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. That's the key right there truth has to be revealed to you by The Holy Spirit. But, you have to have ears that hear. That's why Jesus would say, "He that has ears to hear let him hear." Because, someone can be talking to you by The Holy Spirit, but if you don't have ears to hear or understand you hearing didn't profit you. Jesus said in The Parable Of The Sower Matthew 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. In fact Matthew 13:19 says, When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. So, it's not just about hearing, did you get understanding. In understanding truth you have to understand there is a realm where you get your information through your senses, but there is another realm outside of your senses. When God does something He does it in the realm of the spirit. Like, Abraham God told him, "A father of many nations have I made thee", now according to God that was truth. But, in this realm Romans 4:19 says, And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, that was a fact. The average person would look at his dead body, but 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, not to focus on what's seen, but the things not seen. If you don't understand that there is another realm then you'll think that the dead body is all there is.

But, notice at the same time he had an issue in his body in this realm God already had an answer in the realm of the spirit. And a lot of times people that have no revelation of the spiritual spend their time waiting on God to do something that is already done in the realm of the spirit. Look at Hebrews 4:1-3-- 4 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 for unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3 for we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Notice, the works are already done, but if you don't know what's been done then you'll keep waiting instead of receiving. As Paul says in Ephesians 1:18 you need the eyes of your understanding enlightened by The Holy Spirit. So, now we have to choose how we are going to live our lives by truth or by facts.

It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Religion / 90 Verses say Jesus Is Not God By Adenino Otari by AntiChristian: 12:58pm On May 30
All four Gospels record Jesus as saying, “Blessed are the peace-makers; they will be called sons of God.”

The word ‘son’ cannot be accepted literally because in the Bible, God apparently addresses many of his chosen servants as ‘son’ and ‘sons.’ The Hebrews believed God is One, and had neither wife nor children in any literal sense. Therefore, it is obvious the expression ‘son of God’ merely meant ‘Servant of God’; one who, because of faithful service, was close and dear to God as a son is to his father.

Christians who came from a Greek or Roman background, later misused this term. In their heritage, ‘son of God’ signified an incarnation of a god or someone born of a physical union between male and female gods. This can be seen in Acts 14: 11-13, where we read that when Paul and Barnabas preached in a city of Turkey, pagans claimed they were gods incarnate. They called Barnabas the Roman god Zeus, and Paul the Roman god Hermes.

Furthermore, the New Testament Greek word translated as ‘son’ are ‘pias’ and ‘paida’ which mean ‘servant,’ or ‘son in the sense of servant.’ These are translated to ‘son’ in reference to Jesus and ‘servant’ in reference to all others in some translations of the Bible. So, consistent with other verses, Jesus was merely saying that he is God’s servant.

To a Christian, God had to take human form to understand temptation and human suffering, but the concept is not based on any clear words of Jesus. In contrast, God does not need to be tempted and suffer in order to be able to understand and forgive man’s sins, for He is the all knowing Creator of man. This is expressed in the verse:

‘And the Lord said: ‘I have surely seen the affliction of my people that are in Egypt, and I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters; for I know their pains.’ (Exodus 3:7)

God forgave sin before Jesus’ appearance, and He continues to forgive without any assistance. When a believer sins, he is to repent sincerely in order to receive forgiveness. Indeed, the offer to humble oneself before God and be saved is made to all humankind.

‘And there is no God else beside Me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside Me. Look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.’ (Isaiah 45:21-22, Jonah 3:5-10)

Biblically, people can receive forgiveness of sins through sincere repentance sought directly from God. This is true at all times and in all places. There has never been a need for the so-called inter cessionary role Jesus plays in attaining atonement. The facts speak for themselves. There is no truth to the Christian belief that Jesus died for our sins and salvation is only through Jesus. What about the salvation of people before Jesus? Jesus’ death brings neither atonement from sin, nor is it in any way a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.

Christians claim that in the birth of Jesus, there occurred the miracle of the incarnation of God in the form of a human being. To say that God became truly a human being invites a number of questions. Let us ask the following about the man-God Jesus:

What happened to his foreskin after his circumcision (Luke 2:21)? Did it ascend to heaven, or did it decompose as with any human piece of flesh?

During his lifetime what happened to his hair, nails, and blood that was shed from his wounds? Did the cells of his body die as ordinary human beings? If his body did not function in a truly human way, he could not be truly human as well as truly God. Yet, if his body functioned exactly in a human way, this would nullify any claim to divinity. It would be impossible for any part of God, even if incarnate, to decompose in any way and still be considered God. The everlasting, one God, in whole or in part, does not die, disintegrate, or decompose: ‘for I the Lord do not change.’ (Malachi 3:6)

Did Jesus’ flesh dwell in safety after his death?
Unless Jesus’ body never underwent ‘decay’ during his lifetime he could not be God, but if it did not undergo ‘decay’ then he was not truly human.

Bible says that God is not man
‘God is not a man’ (Numbers 23:19)

for I am God, and not man’ (Hosea 11:9)

Jesus is called a man many times in the Bible
‘a man who has told you the truth’ (John 8:40)

‘Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.’ (Acts 2:22)

‘He will judge the world in righteousness through a man whom He has appointed’ (Acts 17:31)

‘the man Christ Jesus’ (Tim. 2:5)

The Bible says that God is not a son of man
‘God is not a man nor a son of man’ (Numbers 23:19)

The Bible often calls Jesus ‘a son of man’ or ‘the son of man.’

‘so will the son of man be’ (Matthew 12:40)

for the son of man is going to come’ (Matthew 16:27)

‘until they see the son of man coming in His kingdom.’ (Matthew 28)

‘But so that you may know that the son of Man has authority’ (Mark 2:10)

‘because he is the son of man’ (John 5:27)

In the Hebrew scriptures, the ‘son of man’ is also used many times speaking of people (Job 25:6; Psalm 80:17; 144:3; Ezekiel 2:1; 2:3; 2:6-8; 3:1-3).

Since God would not contradict Himself by first saying He is not the son of a man, then becoming a human being who was called ‘the son of man’, he would not have done so. Remember God is not the author of confusion. Also, human beings, including Jesus, are called ‘son of man’ specifically to distinguish them from God, who is not a ‘son of man’ according to the Bible.

The Bible says that Jesus denied he is God
Jesus spoke to a man who had called him ‘good,’ asking him, ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.’ (Luke 18:19)

And he said to him, ‘Why are you asking me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.’ (Matthew 19:17)

Jesus did not teach people that he was God
If Jesus had been telling people that he was God, he would have complimented the man. Instead, Jesus rebuked him, denying he was good, that is, Jesus denied he was God.

The Bible says that God is greater than Jesus
my Father is greater than I’ (John 14:28)

my father is greater than all.’ (John 10:29)

Jesus cannot be God if God is greater than him. The Christian belief that the Father and son are equal is in direct contrast to the clear words from Jesus.

Jesus never instructed his disciples to worship him
‘When you pray, say Our Father which art in heaven.’ (Luke 11:2)

‘In that day, you shall ask me nothing. Whatsoever you ask of the Father in my name.’ (John 16:23)

‘The hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship him.’ (John 4:23)

If Jesus was God, he would have sought worship for himself
Since he didn’t, instead he sought worship for God in the heavens, therefore, he was not God.

Politics / Former 2023 Presidential Aspirant, Emeka Stanley, Marks His Birthday Today by EmekaStanley: 12:28pm On May 29
Like the proverbial ‘little by little’, I have grown gradually albeit consistently over the years, basically from scratch, but not without mistakes which at times I regret a few to this day because I felt they were 'unnecessary' mistakes.

Though I never let regrets of my past overshadow the joy of a brand new day which the lord God is benevolent enough to present me with.
Talking about God, I will be forever grateful to Him for everything, and I mean everything.

In my quest for wisdom which He alone lavishes on those He chooses, I have come to realize that truly, nothing is worth occupying man’s days than that which is right and in direct agreement with God’s love, as evident in the works of his hands.

Simply put, Just enjoy God’s love, and be of a giver of same.

As I mark the beginning of a new year for me, I ask God to prune me like a meticulous farmer prunes his plants so that I be highly fruitful for his kingdom, for this nation, Nigeria and then other nations.

I pray that Nigeria finds that new life that it so badly needs.

I believe Nigeria will rise again and take it rightful place among the comity of nations.

As a global citizen but Nigerian by birth, indifference keeps me from ‘marking’ my birthday. my most markable birthday will be the day Nigeria rises.

But I believe that someday, nations will find laudable reasons to celebrate me for ages no matter how indifferent I choose to be about it.

How’s this going to happen? I don’t know. But in due time, it will happen because there’s a master planner.

I also ask God to embody me with all kinds of divine wisdom, both in acts and in words so that People should never go astray or commit atrocities on my account.

By some divine providence, my son Jedidiah shares this day with me.

How could I have thought that on the same day that I am to ‘celebrate’ a birthday, I was gifted a son who clocks 3 today. To God be the glory.

To cap it all in one word, I am a man blessed and favored by God and man.

Happy Birthday to me.

Religion / How To Have Oneness With The Holy Spirit, Learn This And Change Your Life by sharpguy10(m): 8:36am On May 29
Embracing Oneness with the Spirit
When you realize oneness with the Spirit, it’s as though you become a part of a greater body where the Spirit is the mind that controls even the most subtle of movements. Your movement becomes His movement, and your intent dissolves into God's will. Your presence and His presence become indistinguishable from one another. Indeed, you are joined with the Lord, and in that union, you find the beginning of true prayer. You don't pray to connect with God; you pray from a connection with God.

If you believe the Holy Spirit lives in you, type in the comments "already connected." Those two simple words, "already connected," signify your union with God and the desire to pray that springs from this connection. In fact, both the desire to pray and the power to pray come from the Holy Spirit within you. All spiritual desires, whether to grow in patience, overcome sin, know the Word, or be united with Christ, come from the Holy Spirit.

The sinful nature desires evil, the opposite of what the Spirit wants. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, preventing you from freely carrying out your good intentions. To pray in the Spirit is to align your attitude and actions with the Holy Spirit’s desires, declaring what the Holy Spirit is declaring, and sincerely wanting what the Holy Spirit wants. True prayer, in its purest form, is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit's desire in us. The Holy Spirit desires through us, in us, and for us. He desires on our behalf, but we must still choose to act upon His desiring through us.

This is why I love the way David the psalmist prayed: "Incline my heart unto thy testimonies and not to covetousness" (Psalm 119:36), and "Restore to me the joy of your salvation and make me willing to obey you" (Psalm 51:12). David’s prayers illustrate what it means to pray in the Spirit, agreeing with His prayers for us. When you pray in the Spirit, transformation takes place. You become an agent of the Holy Spirit's will.

Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the good news about the kingdom. He healed every kind of disease and illness. When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He said to His disciples, "The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask Him to send more workers into His fields" (Matthew 9:35-38).

Jesus instructed the disciples to pray for more workers because it was God’s will to send them. The harvest of souls was ready, and the need was urgent. Jesus set the disciples up to become the answer to their own prayers. At the beginning of the next chapter of Matthew, Jesus called His twelve disciples together, gave them authority to cast out evil spirits, and to heal every kind of disease and illness. He sent them out with instructions to go to the people of Israel, to heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons (Matthew 10:1, 5-cool.

Notice the sequence: the disciples prayed for God to send workers, and then they became the workers God sent. Their prayers caused them to become the answer they requested. Prayer is not all about receiving; it’s more about becoming. The disciples' prayers didn’t just change the situation; they changed the disciples themselves.

Caught up in the overlap of Heaven and Earth, you'll find yourself being transformed by your contact with the heavenly dimension. It will change your nature and character. for every moment you are praying, you are changing, whether you see the immediate evidence of that or not. That’s the power of praying in the Holy Spirit. When you begin to live and pray from that place of oneness with God, His presence overtakes all of you. I want to disappear in the bigness of God.

Jesus said, "If you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father." I want to be able to say, "If you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the son." By that, I don’t mean I want to claim divinity. I simply mean I want to be like Jesus. Think of the wonderful thing that happened to Enoch: "Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him" (Genesis 5:22-24). Enoch walked in close fellowship with God for so long that he simply was not. That’s what I desire. I want to be a "was not" too. I want to become an empty space for God to fill, a void on the earth where Heaven can exist.

I want to be a tear in the fabric of this reality through which Heaven can invade. I want to be a portal through which the glory can touch the natural, transforming all around me to the will of the Spirit. Like Moses, I want to disappear into the cloud as I ascend to higher realms. Moses disappeared into the cloud as he climbed higher up the mountain and remained there for 40 days and 40 nights (Exodus 24:18).

This desire for oneness with God is not just my desire. It’s the desire of every sincere Bible-believing follower of Christ. It’s the desire of the Lord Himself. He desires to be one with you. In fact, it’s His prayer for you: "I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me" (John 17:20-21).

Truly, you are counted among all who will ever believe. This is not a new age belief or unorthodox theology; these are the very words of Jesus Himself. Oneness with God is obedience toward God. Oneness with God is submission to the will of God. Oneness with God is wearing Christlike character. Oneness with God is holiness. Oneness with God is surrender to the Holy Spirit. Oneness with God is what Jesus prayed for you and died to give you. "All of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to Himself through Christ" (2 Corinthians 5:18).

Oneness with God is not something on hold; it’s not a joy only to be known later in Heaven. It’s not some reality put off for the distant future. You don’t have to wait. It’s yours here and now. Be certain of this: you can have it, for Jesus said our oneness with Him would be a sign to the unbelieving world. "So that the world will believe you sent me," He said. How could your oneness with God be a sign to an unbelieving world if you couldn’t acquire it while you’re here on Earth with them? Let the matter be settled: oneness with your Creator is for here and now.

When you learn to pray from that position of unity with God, from that divine connection within, everything changes. Then you are truly praying in the Holy Spirit. If this message helped you, make sure to leave a like and let's stay connected. Don't forget to share this

TV/Movies / The Mammon (the Tales Of A Lost Soul) by Mouth123(m): 12:38am On May 29
A beautiful shiny morning. 9:55 AM

It was a Sunday service, our church auditorium was filled 80% that day and we had just finished singing praise and worship.
I stood up in my shirt and tie and i stepped forward on the alter to minister the word of God. FORGIVENESS.. that was the topic i preached about.
After the service i got a lot of compliments as usual from our church members and elders for a well delivered sermon.
I am the Area pastor in the church, that makes me not the most senior pastor but i also double as the head of all the youth pastors. I drove my family home in my car but i noticed a car was following us from church and suddenly it stopped. When we got to the front of my house the gate was opened and my gateman was tied.

Thank God nothing was missing in the house. Infact it looks like they did not go into the main building at, just within the compound the only obvious thing me and wife saw a broken bottle of drink on the floor.
my wife wondered why someone will break into a house just to break bottle on the floor, tie the gateman and leave. I have no idea too

That is what i told her that day. We quickly untied the gateman and I promise to increase the security, my wife suggest we go for a 3 days fasting and prayer and i agree with her.

One week later, while in church a member came to call my wife's attention so she went outside and when she came back she whispered into my ear and i had to stand up while the choir were ministering. I went out to see for myself and it was another broken bottle left at the entrance of the church gate.
Again!!!
Now i know this is more than ordinary. I asked them to clean it and we went back into the church. Now i am troubled.

my name is Tunde Jesubiyi, 37years, a Business man married to my beautiful wife Okiki an accountant with a reputable Bank in Nigeria, we have a son Imole (light) so i call wife Mama light sometimes and a baby girl Devine. my handsome boy is 10years and my little princess is 3years. I love my family they are all i have.

I met my wife Okiki during my NYSC camp in Edo state. She is a very devoted christian and i needed redemption as at then. She thought me how to pray and connect with my inner spirit. She showed the light and that is why we named our boy Light. Before i met my wife 11 years ago. I just finished from a university i spent 6years instead of 4 years, the strikes and one extra year (spillover) didn't help my case.

I had my first and only carry over in my first semester 400level. I was on 3.97 CGPA before my only carry-over. I felt bad when i saw the result, because i am struggling on my own to pay my school fees.
my 100 level school fees was not a problem because i had a father but he died on the plane crash that happened many years ago. my mother has always been sick and i have seen my mother pray to God to heal her and cried on several nights. We hope she recovers from the Cancer.
After my father died, things became very hard.. i was on holiday when the news of my father was announced on the radio We mourned our loss in my grandfather house in the village 3 weeks him till i was ready to go back to school. my brother who is just 19years had just wrote his WASSCE.
I wanted to stop school but my brother stood for me, he promised to take care of our mother and also work any work to cater for her while i take care of myself in school.😭😭😭

That was our agreement but he could not get her drugs on time or pay medical bills. I lost my mother 3 months after my Dad plane crash. I was lost. my grandpa is traditional priest but he couldn't safe his son😭.
Obviously my younger brother can not continue his education and i am about to drop out too. I can't not afford the bills as a student. I trued getting a job but nobody will give a student a part time job. I don't have any connection. my brother is back to my parents house after spending time with grandpa, he wanted his freedom that was why he left the village, he has started keeping bad friends. I don't even feel like talking to him again bcus he now smokes and drink.

I was lost and hopeless. my roommate in the hostel Jamiu encouraged me not to give up.
It was 2 weeks to my exams and i am yet to complete my school fees.
I will not write Exam💔😭.
Jamiu noticed i was thinking too much and he asked me what is the problem. I explained my situation. He said will try to get the money to balance my school fees. I needed just 12k to balance, me that i have been drinking garri for over a week now. The garri Jamiu brought 😭. I am broke, i will be very grateful to you my friend. Jamiu gave me a condition, he said i will have to follow him to a friends birthday party. I am not the party type and it's few days to Exams... Jamiu I don't have any other options so i will follow you Jamiu if that is all you want.

I followed Jamiu to the night party and when we came back from the party. I was given 20k BUT i am now scared because I don't know if i should use the money for my school fees or i should return it.
I am not sure if i want this type of money.

What happened at the party jamiu took me to... hmmmmmmmm
To be contd....

TOPIC: Who Is Not A Child? (Part 2)

Proverbs 22:6 ‬
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

*Message*

Let a child be a child, and don't force adulthood on them when they are not yet prepared. Childhood is characterized by naivety, and every child has a right to be led and guided into reasonable maturity by reasonable adults. We therefore mustn't deprive them of this by leaving them all to themselves and allowing them to do all they they always wanted to do and get away with their displays of naivety.

*Extreme liberalism is dangerous in any society, and it's even worse when kids are introduced to this in their inexperienced state. While kids should be given the freedom to be themselves, express themselves, and explore their strengths, all these must be from a regimented realm built in love, where it becomes obvious that you can't do whatever wrong thing that comes to your mind and go away with it - you must be corrected and you've got to love the corrections.*

See what the bible says:

*"Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of correction will drive it far from him." (Proverbs 22:15)*

A child is a child. A child is inexperienced and experimental. A child will try out something that comes to mind and watch the reactions from society (their parents, class teacher, etc). If the child did something wrong that was swept under the carpet, the child gets empowered to boldly do it again and again, until he or she grows to become a problematic adult.

*Prayers*

pray that every child in the world will have a relationship with Jesus early enough in life.

John 1:12 ‬
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

*Message*

Let's read Psalms 127:3-5 - ‬

"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. [4] Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. [5] Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate."

It is the pride of every reasonable person to have sons and daughters (whether biological or adopted) that can carry on with the mandate of their agenda, and God is not exempted. The LORD also continually craves to have sons and daughters that can further His purposes on earth.

*As the world celebrates the annual Children's Day, we should always remember that we all came out from God and He is our Source and Father. Before you could have an earthly parent, God already destined you to be one of His attested children on earth. Incredibly, while the parenthood of your earthly persons is only temporal, the Fatherhood of God over you is meant to be eternal.*

Scripture made us realize that there are legitimate children and illegitimate ones. God wants you to be part of the cadre of His bona-fide children whom He knows by name. This can only be made possible when you earn the right to become His son/daughter through faith in Christ Jesus.

*Prayers*

pray for the well-being of every child in the world.

Religion / Faith: Revealing Jesus by AbundantLife05: 6:17am On May 26
ABUNDANT LIFE VISION
Faith: Revealing Jesus. Romans 10:5-13
for Moses writes that the law’s way of making a person right with God requires obedience to all of its commands. [6]But faith’s way of getting right with God says, “Don’t say in your heart, ‘Who will go up to heaven?’ (to bring Christ down to earth). [7]And don’t say, ‘Who will go down to the place of the dead?’ (to bring Christ back to life again).” [8]In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart. “And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: [9]If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [10]for it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. [11]As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” [12]Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. [13]for “Everyone who calls on the name of the lord will be saved.” NLT.

Good morning dear friends, I am pleased to welcome you to today’s teaching. I pray that God will speak to us as we learn at His feet in the name of Jesus. Over the next three weeks, we will be looking at the topic Faith and today, we will consider “Faith: Revealing Jesus”. During a teaching series last year titled; “The Faith of our Fathers”, I defined Faith simply as believing. I went on to say that there are three dimensions to Faith. The first dimension is the saving Faith which deals with declaring Jesus as one’s Lord and Saviour, the second dimension is believing in God in order to receive things from Him, and the third dimension is Faith manifesting as good deeds. These are the parts of Faith that we will discuss in the next three weeks.

Let me state this clearly, Faith is to believe and the first stage in believing is to believe in God. Hebrews 11:6: And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. NLT. The important thing to note here is that the only way to get to God is through Jesus Christ. John 14:6: Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. NLT.

Therefore, everyone who have walked in faith in the past have done so by firstly believing in God. Abraham believed in God and he received the promise God gave him. Also, other great men of faith in the Bible walked with God by believing in Him. However, there was a way God revealed Himself to people in the Old Testament but now, God has revealed Himself to us perfectly through Jesus Christ. Hebrews 1:1-3: Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. [2]And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his son. God promised everything to the son as an inheritance, and through the son he created the universe. [3]The son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. NLT. Any Faith we have, must firstly acknowledge Jesus as the saviour who connects us to the Father. This is the first step of Faith.
We must believe in God for the grace to be saved from our sins. Our Faith in God through our confession that Jesus Christ is the Lord qualifies us to be saved from eternal condemnation and the nature of sin.

Therefore, salvation is not achieved through one’s effort but it is achieved by believing in Jesus Christ. This is the basis of making heaven. Ephesians 2:8: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. NLT. Also, by believing in Jesus Christ, we get to receive the life of God which disconnect us from our sinful nature. Consequentially, the life of God in us prevents us from sinning because we have been born of God. 1 John 3:7-10: Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. [8]But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. [9]Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God. [10]So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God. NLT.

All in all, the first point of faith is confessing Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, this is the first step in walking with God. Any faith aimed at receiving from God alone without walking with him is selfish and ineffective in the long run. God wants to save our souls and He has made salvation available for everyone. Eternity is far important than worldly acquisition. On this note, if you are reading this and you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, I urge you to do so by saying this prayer wholeheartedly; Lord Jesus, I confess you as my Lord and saviour today, please save me and be my lord and I will be your witness till the end. Amen. If you have recited the prayer wholeheartedly, I congratulate you and I welcome you to the family of God. Make sure you join a bible believing church as you start your journey in Christ.

God bless you.
Religion / How To Get What You Pray For by Godspowerpro: 11:40pm On May 25
Praise GOD
GODSPOWERPROJECT

Glory to GOD, One of life’s most exciting experiences is knowing that Almighty GOD, Creator of the whole universe listens to our individual prayers;-

How To pray And Get What You pray for

First, most of us have to change our negative and unattractive image of GOD, which sometimes hinder and stand between GOD and us.
GOD is not a schoolmaster that scolds you (for things you have done or haven’t done)
In reality, GOD does not scold us, HE welcomes us, If anything, HE wonders why you waited so long

(Luke.15- The prodigal son)
See what a welcome he got just as soon as he turned around to go back home
That’s a beautiful picture of how GOD receives us,
HE does not scold or blame us
HE is loving, warm and gracious
Once we get that picture, it altogether changes how we pray
(James.1;5- GOD gives generously and does not find faults)
Jesus came to represent GOD to humanity, and His (Jesus's) teachings on prayers were as positive
(Matt.7; 7-8- Ask and receive, Seek and find, Knock and open)
(Matt.21;22- Ask in prayer. ‘believing’ and you shall receive)

By Faith, we receive what we pray for
(John.14;13-14- Jesus assures us of we pray for in His Name)
(John.15;7- Ask whatever you wish in Jesus name)
(John.16;24- Ask in Jesus name that your joy may be full

Jesus wants us to have that special kind of joy that comes from seeing that our prayers are heard by GOD

Final Note: What GOD wants us to become to HIM through Jesus Christ
(Rev.1;5-6- through the forgiveness of our sins and the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ, GOD wants us to become a Kingdom of Priests or simply put, Kings and Priests; two of the highest functions available to man)
What Kings do; Kings rule/ govern territories
What Priests do; Priests offer holy spiritual sacrifices (Prayers and Petitions) acceptable to GOD (1Pet;2;5)
To be in the Kingdom, we have to be Priests; in other words, We learn to Rule by Praying
