To be honest, the FG subsidizes training of medical doctors in federal universities and teaching hospitals .

The cost of procuring a medical degree and licence abroad especially in the US and uk is far higher than it is here .

It can be argued that Nigerian govt trains medical practitioners for the west.

This situation isn't even good for western medical practitioners as the average pay of medical practitioners has drastically fallen from a minimum of a $1mill per annum to hovering to about $400k for doctors .

It doesn't serve the west nor Nigeria in the long run but rather Jewish owned hospitals .

To elaborate further on why the Jew wants African doctors to replace western trained doctors

The plan by Jewish corporations who own all the hospitals in the US is to import cheap and easily manipulated 3rd world medical professionals whose immigration status is tied to their job.

These third world medical professionals cost less, and are easily bullied to go against medical ethics towards pushing Jewish pharmaceutical interests like we saw during covid were most of the doctors sanctioned were not from the pool of third world countries but from the west .Any third world doctor that dared to go against their protocol will be sacked and deported asap if not arraigned in a court on medical felony charges and risk serious jail time.
Most white and western professionals have gone into private practice during covid for refusal to abide by Jew Pharma dictates. Some even got the FDA on their ass for prescribing Iverctimin to treat covid and had to go to court to protect their license and practice.

We also read here sometime ago on Nigerian medical professionals protesting the disparity in pay between them and their western counterparts in the uk.

The Jew has so much polluted medical science and reduced the position of a medical doctor to a drug dealer for their pharmaceutical companies.

A Nigerian doctor escaping poverty in Nigeria will have no qualms obeying his Jewish masters even if goes contrary to his own professional and moral etiquette since his employment is tied to his immigration status .

I would never want to have to sacrifice both my conscience and professional opinion to ensure some kike gets more money at the expense of my patients . that's terrible to conceive but sadly that's the harsh reality most Nigerian and third world doctors are facing in the west.

This is why the immigration policy lobbied by the Jew pharma in the west is being guided to have third world doctors replace white and western educated doctors.

Already doctors in the west are seeing a massive decline in their take home owing to a flooding of cheap third world doctors who will not question the Jew and accept whatever he throws at them.

It pays no one to see our doctors go. We lose our best and most highly trained and sought after professionals and the west suffers more from these same professionals being constrained by Jew pharma .

A good govt should look at not only improving pay for doctors but also the state of the hospitals .

Also an emphasis on medical morals should be pushed so our brand of doctors will no longer sacrifice their profession and conscience for money.

Those that went to private universities who subsidized Thier training?? Abeg park as if to say nah only medical doctor them they subsidize Thier training.

The bill is dead on arrival

There is a temporary provisional license with which you use to practice for 2yrs and do your housemanship before it expires after graduation. It is that graduation letter that is the Koko that is needed to be submitted to examining body in the uk to start the process of writing exams.

There is no requirement for the license to practice as a doctor after housemanship grin. The bill is dead on arrival. Once you have passed English test, plab 1 and 2 (even without housemanship for those who can afford to leave the country immediately after graduation and face uk), they can do their housemanship in the uk and get uk license directly with just their university certificate. grin grin grin grin grin grin

Education / Re: Requirements For UK Student Visa From Nigeria: The Complete List by Nicemuna: 4:29am On Apr 07, 2023
philiancoop:
You may have wondered what exactly is required to get a student visa into the United Kingdom; and whether or not you have the requirements or can get them. One thing is for sure, 1 in every 5 Nigerians wants to relocate to the western world. Two things matter when it comes to relocating on a student visa: first, the financial requirement and the documents/professional/academic requirement.
The process begins with admission and ends in visa processing. The September 2022 intake is still ongoing.
So today, I’m giving you the professional and academic document requirements for getting a student visa. I will follow up with the financial requirements in the next post.

1. First Degree: If you are going to be enrolling in a masters's program, you must generally have a 2.2 at least in your BSc in a relevant degree for your chosen course. Some courses or universities require a 2.1, especially for health and nursing courses. If you have a first-class, then that's better and you could easily apply for a fully-funded scholarship at some universities. Many people come to me to get scholarships in the uk for them and they have 2.2 with no money and I would wonder if that even happens in Nigeria and I don't know. There are people with 3rd class and HND, these guys can get an extended masters which costs about 3-5k pounds more with 3-6 months more time.

2. A’ Levels or WAEC: To undertake an undergraduate programme, you need A’levels to undergo the normal 3-year BSc or just WAEC plus a one-year foundation course making a 4-year BSc. for masters degree students, you still may need a credit in WAEC English language to prove your English language proficiency for some universities.

3. Academic Transcript: This is for masters degree candidates. You need to apply and get it from your university or polytechnic to apply for admission. It shows all the courses you took and your grades. This is used to determine if your undergraduate porgramme qualifies you for the masters you’re applying for.

4. IELTS/ English proficiency test: this is the test that proves you understand and speak English well. To save our people the time, cost, and stress of IELTS, we let the school know that the undergraduate course was actually fully taught in the English language. They then request an official level from the Nigerian university to confirm this. At other times we use the credit in English language WAEC to prove this. And we get past it. for Undergraduates, you may need to write the IELTS if the school does not accept GCSE (WAEC).

5. SOP: The Statement of purpose is the course and university-specific essay you must provide about yourself and why you want that course in that school and in the uk.I always recommend you have an expert write this for you after you’ve had a discussion with them about yourself and your goals.

6. Academic CV: this is a CV but one that’s built with the course and academic purpose and format in mind. I recommend the europass CV style.

7. Passport: You may or may not need your international passport at the point of application, but you will eventually need one along the way. Get it as soon as possible.

8. Marriage certificate/Birth certificate: If you are going with your wife and children then you should be getting the certificates ready with pictures too. Like wedding pictures.

9. References: It's not everyone requires this, but let me add it here. Many times, the Univerity will email the referees directly to ask for a recommendation.

10. Tuberculosis test result: this is during the visa processing stage.

11. CAS /CAS NUMBER: This comes from the uk school and is just a part of the process

So guys, that’s about it. The September intake is on and applications are already on. The next intake is in January 2023, the year of the elections. Watch out for the next article on finance and budgeting.

Good day, pls what is the family budget (me, my wife and 2 kids). I am going for masters

Hello house, please what program Can someone with a PASS DEGREE apply to in any uk university that can still favourably give a work permit for her to support herself.

Please do not ask why she got a pass, it was absolutely a situation beyond her control but she came out strong.

I know some schools offer admission to third class degree but I don't know about pass. Please if you know any medium maybe a top up that can still give her work permit and path to Post study, please kindly share. We are looking at this January.

I did my masters degree in lasu in 2017 with 2.5 cgpa. No let person lie to u. All schools will take second class lower. Even top schools in uk and America will accept second class lower degree. In uk, if u have over 5yrs experience, u will be admitted to study for masters degree with a 3rd class in some universities. Do your findings, mail the faculty and u will be shocked.

Education / Re: Requirements For UK Student Visa From Nigeria: The Complete List by Emdee360: 6:00pm On May 15, 2022
philiancoop:

Good afternoon, please can someone who graduated in agricultural science apply for masters in management or food science?

And is it possible to come back after six month to pick up our child?

With your 5 years experience, you can actually get a masters admission directly.

Google ' university statement of purpose' for guidelines on answers to your question. However, do not plagiarize.

ACCA or CIMA is the good ticket for accountant in the uk. Choose a masters programme that incorporates either of these qualifications.

1. Many uk universities accept MSc admission directly with 3rd class and HND.

Check my post and that of Howoheye here: https://www.nairaland.com/6331164/uk-student-visa-tier-4/372#102024310

You need to check those universities and courses if it fits your budget.
