When under tax investigation, what they do is this;
1)Supplier invoices will be sumed up for the disputed period,
2)From your bank statement, they can get easily all the revenue data for that disputed period,
The Summation of (2) minus (1) gives them your gross profit for that disputed period.
The only variable now would be EXPENSES,cos only this you can use to alter gross profit .
Now,do you have a documented expense data backed by funding from your corporate account and purchase invoices?
If you don't have this then goodluck to you and your taxman.
What most people do and is a leeway is to overinflate business expenses and falsify purchase records
If they press hard,they can still expose this.
Just be tax abiding and pay before they come to investigate you.

Profit is taxed,not revenue.
And you can only pay what you declare as profit.

Also ,if you buy cement at $2 ,you'd still freight it and pay levies.
