Special thank you to Gazzuzz for giving me the right pointer and selfless help to a brother, cheers baba. Problem solved ,car is very fine now. Just some unplugged sensors here and there and some corrections. Nothing was replaced at all, And the honesty of the fixer too is something else. Will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs such help in PH. |
Super proud of you Airpeace. |
kingreign:I didn't know, I was desperately looking for someone to check and act as escrow for the car in Abj. I bought the car in a hurry cos I needed a replacement car I'd be using for work. |
jimts:Thanks a lot, Na wa oo. I never envisaged this. |
Lexusgs430:Okay sure,will do that. Thanks. |
Lexusgs430:No I didn't ooo, I didn't even check physically before buying cos of distance and time,I just sent someone to go check and when he confirmed I paid. I called the dealer,he is saying one sensor close to the bumper bla bla bla...could be the cause. I don't know if I should trust what he's saying. |

Hello house, Please I have a problem. I just bought a 2021 Honda accord today and its driving me mental. Got from a dealer as Toks yesterday... Car was gotten from Abuja, only for it to get to PH and all warning lights on earth keep throwing up on the dash. I'm going mental and really angry and disappointed, I should've trucked this vehicle I swear, I didn't even see it before buying, just sent a driver to go check and paid. But driving is smooth no noise or whatever,na all these lights and it might seem its a disaster waiting to happen. Car was driven for about 700km to get to me, Please experts in the house, any pointers? Gazzuzz, kingreign ,9icetoo,nurey,heavenlybang. I'd take a pic of the dash now and upload. Chai. |
jmoore:Because it will cut the too much naira in circulation used to chase FX and weaken it in the process. No be prick them dey use buy dollars,na naira. Curb it's spread(by hiking interest rates),you control "market forces". Another means is to increase taxes and VAT. Too much naira in the hands of the everyday Nigerian, that has to stop! |
pocohantas:Craze geh ![]() |
MASTERCHIEF0847:No.Not related to dollar in anyway. The problem is that weak naira makes cement cheap to our neighbours,so they want to get their cement from here instead of their home countries. This sudden demand surge is what is inflation cement price because instead of traders to sell to you with your meagre naira, they rather sell to people coming from outside country. |
I just changed 13pin, 750k for the gear, Oil and labour will gulp another 100-150k, Then also if you got the right one in the first attempt, fine. If not, back and forth waybill cost. But I'd advise, replace with what was there as installed by the makers. All these conversions always end up in disaster. |
N3TRAL:Not true, Don't say what you don't know. Also ,what he meant was fidelity bank is holding a 1Trillion naira equity in dollar equivalent. Quite easy to understand tbh... |
History555:Dangote refinery will buy Nigerian crude at international prices from NNPC distributors and in dollars, so they didn't lose any sale.Only countries with a production surplus can sell some at local currency and maybe discounted rates,Nigeria don't have that kind of capacity yet. Infact, they'll make more money selling to dangote because they'll not pay for logistics. The only reason NNPC supplied this 6m barrels to Dangote is because it was part of their payment terms when buying the 20% stake in his refinery. In essence, there'd be forex surplus. |
mrvitalis:NNPC don't sell crude, who does? So you don't know that the Transfigura or Vitol and their likes your stupid ass is about to mention are customers to NNPC? There's a supply chain to every business no doubt, but at the end of the day,who gets paid? Ode. |
mrvitalis:Crude is an international commodity that is sold even to local capacity at international prices, Meaning he'll purchase whatever crude the refinery needs from NNPC at international prices and NNPC also get to save money by his patronage on logistics cost. Rather than transport to Europe or Asia to sell, you sell in your backyard for same price. Where is the loss? ![]() Or you thought NNPC was going to give him free crude or sell in cowries or what? ![]() |
mrvitalis:No one promised you cheap fuel from Dangote refinery. All they're celebrating about is Nigeria is going to hit self sufficiency on energy and also save forex from not having to import it. Whatever price the refinery sells is entirely up to them and their marketers. It's that simple. |
lionshare:Why should a telco do that?what's now in it for them? Also, you need some certain devices to access Netflix, will the telcos also provide that? Then why?over N50 movie?nah... You can only take piracy out of business by law enforcement,no other foreseeable way. What asaba does is the best thing for this market, Produce as cheap as possible, distribute faster than the pirates and sell at similar price points and move to the next content. Nothing else. All these bougee ideas are dead on arrival. |
Efilse:I'm already a success,so I know what I'm saying. My turnover is really significant, bigger than what you've been screaming about here since as the best thing to have happened after sliced bread. |
Efilse:lol how do you invest in more distribution channels to expand access to content? Build more cinemas?lots of existing ones are even empty. E-channels?you'd still have only your existing market base cos the poor can't afford to waste N1500 for data because you're using an e-channel to serve them movies for N50. Streaming subscription?again, you need data and a proper TV to do this.Again, the masses can't afford it. So guess what?irrespective of investment,consumption/sales will cap to similar existing numbers, so why invest more? So like I said, with Nigeria's large ,poor population, The 2 segments of the industry will exist concurrently to serve different market demographics, with the asaba players making more turnover/profits/volume more than the lagos aesthetically great, fanfare counterpart. Numbers is key in business, not emotions. Mumu. |
Efilse:Spoken like the typical armchair entrepreneur. It's not about emotions but numbers. It takes years upon years for a country of 200m people to produce a movie that will make N1B across all distribution channels, This should tell you it's not an "investment" problem but a demand problem. Meaning the bulk of the demand for home theatre entertainment is from people that can't access modern distribution channels and are stuck with the old asaba ways, which is why the make more money. Abi how will investments help? You want dey buy TV for everybody house to install Netflix? ![]() Clown. |
abdeefggh:Emergency exit. Someone surely pulled it mid-flight to bring down the aircraft or the emergency door malfunctioned. |
TimeMachine3:You'll soon learn that turnover is bigger than aesthetics. A N1B movie that distribution and production cost surely took 20% of the revenue and that will most likely be achieved just once in 3 years is what you want to use and compare asaba industry that they use 3m-5m to generate 15-25m and will turnover this more than 30times a year for a serious producer? ![]() You're still naive. Redbull cost 1k on the shelves, fearless cost 200 or so, Later go and check NBL balance sheet on Fearless and also go check Alva on redbull. Dey play ![]() |
lionshare:You need Serious data to watch Netflix in the first place, poor masses can't afford that. Not to talk of devices you'd need to access the Netflix, Smart TV,WiFi box,data,etc... It's not the Netflix subscription but associated cost. So you see, piracy and asaba movies lives on...The 2 industries will exist concurrently, serving different markets ![]() |
Flets:There are people making money faster than the currency depreciates, you just never know. |
UnfairLife7:Well,we are still together and I kicked against it and she decides to stay, That should tell you I'm not the kind of man a woman loses easily . |
Flets:10 years down the line If we end up together, she's gonna thank me for saying No. There's some trajectory you'd be on and you stop getting excited and be very logical/realistic. It's hard to see anyone on my path that leaves all that for nothingness so yeah, you don't know people like me. |
UnfairLife7:Doesn't matter,does it? ![]() |
I found out that people are doing this not for any other reason but simply because others are doing it. I'd elaborate, So my date recently start to dey tell me make we japa, Why? Because her brother abroad simply told her there's a lot of money where he is. She want abandon all she's worked for here,a job that pays N20m PA and carry all her savings invest in wild goose chase and is seriously lobbying me to go with her. Omo I first dey reason am ooo,but with all what we're doing? No abeg. As I tell her say I no follow, the moral she had Don die finish and she just dey hang face for me ![]() Make I leave all my work go enter school dey do odd job, hoping for a miracle. Now imagine if I'm not a logical person that also believe in that their thing? I Don join the stats be that na. 90% of all japarians combined will end up in warehouses and their biggest prospects na registered nurse, wetin be that?Na so good life and future for my unborn kids dey be? ![]() Foolish people |
Cars no longer freak me, I mean I still appreciate and admire some, but that craze and excitement is long gone. Age changes a lot! |
I think marriage was imposed on humans for reasons best known to its creators. Men want more women, women want more men. You give this, you lack that ,etc... Is it something I'm excited about? No. Will I do it?Well maybe, time shall tell. Am I scared about it?Yes. Will I trust my spouse?Well I honestly don't know but I highly doubt it. It's hard to completely trust a person cos along the line, you'd get disappointed one way or the other, The only reason a lot of people still trust their unions is ignorance, shine a little light to the dark and all hell breaks lose. I've learnt to tolerate some excesses and ignore a lot as I grow older when it comes to this whole union thing, just give me my space abeg and don't be all up in my face as I won't do same to you. If you want to have more, feel free cos I won't even investigate, just don't bring back diseases to pass to me cos I'd kill you honestly. |
I have never seen Denrele insult women though.
