The 30-year-old musician is said to be dating Lira Galore’s mother Michele, better known as Momma Galore, after they hit the club together on Wednesday.

I was five when my grand-mother taught me about courage. It was quiet in the village. Everyone was asleep. The stars were shining above the hut. After mama told me stories about our forefathers, I fell into a deep seep. A lion entered the hut. He showed me his crows. I could smell his strong breath. Fear paralysed me. I couldn’t move. I screamed. When I woke up, mama was by my side.
– Onika, kini? Omo mi my child, what is wrong? She asked me.

She carried on with her hands on her hips:
– We are the children of Olowruoba. We are from the Yoruba tribe; a tribe of conquerors that fear nothing. Go and tell the lion that he should never again disturb you. Fear is nothing! Have courage my child!
I was terrified and couldn’t move. Mama pushed me out of my hiding. The lion saw me. He got up and approached me. I could feel his breath just like in my dream. He was getting ready to have his breakfast when mama suddenly came out of her hiding. She was transformed and looked just as ferocious as the lion. Her legs which were stocky and strong stood the ground firmly. Her two hands rested on her hips.
She spoke to the lion with such a fierce authority:
– Why are you disturbing my child? Ishe bu ru ku ki lo she?
The lion left me alone and turned his attention to my grand-mother. He was roaring with rage and showing his huge crows.
Mama carried on unimpressed:
– We are the children of Oloruoba and we fear nothing because our ancestors guard us.
The lion was angered. He looked as if he could attack mama anytime.
Mama spoke again tapping her right hand on her chest robustly like warriors.
– Let that be the last time for you lion.
From that day on, I looked at my grand-mother as a strange human being because she had fought the lion with words and had won.
Today, when I walk past a lion, my head is held up high with pride because I now know that strength is within us if we choose to use it.

A double manhunt was launched after a 15-year-old girl was raped at a railway station then abused again by a man she flagged down to help.

The teenager was first attacked near Aston Villa's football ground in Birmingham between 7pm on Tuesday and 2am on Wednesday.
The victim had walked to Witton station with her friend, but was led away by a man who approached her.

According to UK Mirror, shortly after that attack, the girl walked out of the station and flagged down a passing vehicle to ask for help.
However, after getting in the car she was then raped a second time by another man.The first attacker is described as Asian with light skin, brown eyes, was of a skinny build and about 6ft tall.
He was wearing a track suit top and bottoms, black trainers and was in his early 20s.
The second attacker is also described as Asian, in his early 20s, 5ft 6 or 7ins tall, of large build with a tight-cropped beard and was wearing a blue jumper and black jeans.
Detective Chief Inspector Tony Fitzpatrick, of British Transport Police, said:
"This was a horrifying ordeal for this young girl and we have specially trained officers supporting her."It is now vitally important we investigate exactly what happened on Tuesday morning as well as identifying offenders for both of these awful incidents.
"My detectives are currently examining all available CCTV in an effort to identify the offenders and whilst these enquiries are made, we are keen to speak with any potential witnesses.
"Whilst this incident happened during the early morning and there may not have been many people around, I would be keen to speak with anyone who may have been in the area at the time.
"If you were passing by the station and saw two girls walking with an older man, then please get in touch immediately.

The Nigeria Customs Service on Wednesday intercepted three consignments containing 140 species of snakes and 660 other animals imported into Nigeria from Cameroon.


The containers were brought in aboard a Cameroonian vessel tagged ‘MV Flesh’ through the Calabar waterway to the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) jetty in Calabar, Cross River State.
The other animals which were identified as geckos, millipedes, hairy frogs and spiders, were said to be worth N6.9m.
Customs Area Comptroller in charge of Calabar Free Trade Zone, Cross River and Akwa Ibom Command, Nanbyen Burromvyat, without opening the containers for possible fear of escape, immediately handed over the items and the two suspects arrested to authorities of the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Services for further investigations.

“These containers have animals of different sizes. They were brought in on July 24, 2017, through this Calabar waterway. The consignment was spotted by our vigilant officers and they contain live animals which are a prohibition under Schedule 3 of our revised import prohibition list.
“Live animals are a prohibition. There is no provision for permit to bring them in. We are seizing them and hand the containers over to the Nigerian Quarantine Services for further necessary action.
“I do not know what they want to do with it but I think that it will be dangerous for us because it contains snake, spider, geckos and other creatures. We have enough snakes around Nigeria already and it will be suspicious importing this. I do not know what to think because I do not know what they can be used for.”
The arrested agent who brought in the consignment from Cameroon, Julius Novigana, said they were given to him by a friend to deliver to someone in Lagos.

“A friend gave it to me in Cameroon to deliver to someone in Lagos. I only have the man’s number in Lagos. I have called him and he said he would send someone to come and pick it up from me here in Calabar. I did not know what was contained in the big cartons; my assignment was to deliver the consignment. I do not know the names of the person in Lagos,” he said.
Meanwhile, Captain of the vessel that brought the consignment, Victor Agbor, also a Cameroonian, said he did not spot the containers when he was about leaving his country.
“I did not see these containers on the vessel when I left Cameroon. The name of my vessel is MV Flesh and we bring in passengers and general cargo from Cameroon to Nigeria. I never saw this container on board before leaving; they only called my attention to it that there were some containers without manifestoes in the vessel. I do not have any idea about it,” he said.''

Former Minister of Petroleum Resources and President Muhammau Buhari’s associate, Tam David West, has opined that President Muhammadu Buhari will shock Nigerians positively when he returns from his medical trip to London hale and hearty.

A member of the House of Representatives from Sokoto State, Mr. Abdullahi Wamakko, is dead.

Wamakko died in Abuja on Friday. He was 50 years old.

He reportedly passed on after a brief illness as he was last seen at the National Assembly on Monday, Punch reports.

The Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Mr. Abdulrazak Namdas, confirmed the death of Wamakko while speaking with The PUNCH.

Namdas said, “A member from Sokoto State, Aliyu Shagari, actually broke the news to some of us today.

“We are meeting on the review of the 1999 Constitution. We have already observed a one-minute silence in his honour.

Oh dear! Mr Latin has explained how himself and his younger colleague, popular Yoruba actor, Odunlade Adekola narrowly escaped death yesterday as robbers laid siege for them.

According to him, they were returning from a Glo music show in Ijebu-Ode, when their cars ran into the armed robbers who had laid siege along Ilishan-Sagamu road.

Mr Latin narrated the ordeal to Premium Times this morning saying;

“We left Ijebu-Ode after the show and heading to Abeokuta, when at about 7.30 p.m. we ran into the armed robbers already stationed themselves on the road,” he said.

The actor explained that Odunlade was driving ahead of his car when he sighted the road block by the bandits. Odunlade attempted to make a detour, but the bandits rained‎ bullets on the tyres forcing the car to a halt, he explained.


Mr Latin, who drove in his Toyota Camry behind Odunlade’s Toyota Avensis, said he and his colleague, alongside some of their aides, had to abandon their vehicles and run into the bush.

He said they were in the bush for almost two hours, while the bandits ransacked their vehicles, carting away valuables including money and mobile phones.

“We took to our heels as the robbers pursued us with guns. We were in the bush for about two hours, before we later regained freedom after the robbers left the scene,” Mr Latin stated.

He said some vigilante members later came to their rescue and they were taken to Ogun State University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu for medical treatment.

He said‎ the matter has been reported to the police and thanked God for sparing their lives.

TNS can confirm that Funke Akindele and Juliana Olayode, who plays Toyo Baby on Jenifa’s Diary, have parted ways.

According to TNS, Funke Akindele removed Toyo Baby from the series over what the latter termed ‘bad pay’.




A source revealed that Toyo Baby was cut off from the widely watched TV series for requesting an increment in pay which didn’t go well with Funke Akindele who feels she’s an ingrate being that Olayode rose to stardom through her appearance on the widely-watched show.

Sources close to SceneOneProductions, producers of Jenifa’s Diary, further revealed to TNS that the producer of the show, Funke Akinkele via her production manager and younger sister – Abimbola – pays actors between N3,000 and N150,000 (per episode/season of the show) depending on the role.




An actress who spoke to TNS under the condition of anonymity via text message narrated how she was paid what she termed ‘peanuts’ by Akindele’s team after being part of an all-night party scene on Jenifa’s Diary.

I got a text message from Sceneone Productions that I had been selected to act on Jenifa’s Diary and I will be part of a party scene. I was so excited that I told my entire family about it. Mind you, it wasn’t my 1st time acting but d feeling of being on Jenifa’s diary was a big deal for me. I was asked to come with 5 different party costumes. Location was Amen Estate, Eleko.

After filming with over 30 girls the whole night, Funke came to address us and advice that money shouldn’t be our priorities at this stage; that was when it occurred to me that something awkward was about to happen….just then, the Production Manager, Mr Osmond whispered something to Funke’s sister, Abimbola & she started paying us each 3K. Can u imagine?, 3K for all night shoot!…on Jenifa’S DIARY!… I was so mad, some of us had to turn down the money shaa….couldn’t face my mom to explain to her wat happened the next morning.

According to our findings, actors Lota Chukwu, Omotunde Lolo 1, Falz D Bahd Guy (who has also left the show) and Olayode are the highest paid actors who take home 150k per season.The rest take home much lesser money.

Stars like Tiwa Savage, Toke Makinwa and others who have had cameo appearances on the show reportedly got between 100k and 300k for ‘showing face’.

You will also note that Juliana was absent at events and parties that held at Funke’s house in Lekki.

Funke and Juliana have also unfollowed each other on their social media accounts.

A 45-year-old man, Victor Emmanuel, who has been arrested by officers of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly impregnating a 13-year-old girl, has asserted that he sees nothing wrong with that.

According to Victor who is a tailor, the little girl he got pregnant is his girlfriend. Victor also alleged, he’s already making plans to marry her. He further disclosed that he has already given her parents N20,000, and some drinks as part of introduction and marriage rites.



News Telegraph reported that Victor who is from Imo State, was arrested by detectives attached to the Ajangbadi Police Station,, after the victim’s school alerted them. The police said that the suspect raped the girl and described her as a minor.

Confessing to committing the said crime, Victor said;

“I didn’t rape her! We are in a relationship. We’re even planning to get married. We have been dating for 8 months

now. The girl’s parents know me. Yes, I know she’s pregnant for me.
I have accepted the pregnancy and I’m already taking care of her. I have started the marriage rites. In fact, the girl’s parents had been collecting money from me. I have paid N20,000 to them for introduction and to buy drinks.

They have also asked me to bring N100,000, out of which I have paid N64,000. The school authority said she was too young. The school authority insisted that I should come to the school. When I got to the school, I was arrested.”

Like his elder brother, Kelechukwu Miles Augustine popularly known as Tekno Miles, Spotless also plays some musical instruments like the guitar, piano and drums. He developed his love for music from watching his dad play the guitar at a tender age.
