Nairaland / General / Blog Reader’s Boyfriend Got Her Best Friend Pregnant.. Here’s Her Story! by seedorffits(m): 5:31pm On Oct 18, 2016
Hi admin, My name is Bisi, we met once about 2 years ago in Lagos. Sorry to bug u but the truth is I have no one else to talk to being that I just lost my best friend (not to death anyway) , but truly I wish that was the case. Please share my story on your blog. I have being dating my ex since my days at the University of Ibadan . He meant the world to me and I to him. We couldn’t stand being away from each other, which was what led to him doing everything possible to make sure we served together in Bayelsa. The only time we were apart for so long was when I travelled to Canada for My masters program. My friend Nkechi on the other hand has been my childhood friend. She also was close to my boyfriend and three of us could best be described as the three musketeers way back in UI. I remember jokingly telling Nkechi not to let anyone snatch my man before I return, didn’t know I was talking to the devil in person. I got back 2 weeks ago only to see Nkechj pregnant. I was indeed happy for her, while also teasing her to show me her babydaddy. I suspected something was wrong anyway because how on earth can my bestfriend be pregnant and she never mentioned it to me. She never even talked about having a man in her life not to talk of having sex to become pregnant. Yesterday my boyfriend broke the news to me that he is getting married to Nkechi, that he is the father of that baby she is carrying and that’s why he has been avoiding love making with me since I returned. Admin, I felt the earth should just open up and swallow me. I have crazy ideas building up in my head, which even include ending our lives. Please, if anybody can help, please do, I am so lost.

Nairaland / General / See How A Woman Lost Her Marriage For Allowing Neighbours See Her N.akedness by seedorffits(m): 10:40am On Oct 17, 2016
Trouble is not good. A mother of six, Titilayo
Abdul-Hammed, has lost her 17-year-old
marriage for making her husband a laughing
stock in the neighborhood.
An Igando Customary Court in Lagos on
Wednesday granted the request of her estranged
husband, Minkail Abdul-Hammed.
The husband, a 57yrs old cleric, had approached
the court seeking to end his 17-year-old
marriage with Titilayo, because her n*kedness
was seen by everyone.
Abdul-Hammed had said that his wife was
always disgracing him in public as she was fond
of tying only wrapper to watch television in the
neighborhood.
“I bought my wife clothes, but she will never
wear them; she prefers to tie wrapper on her
chest.
“There was a day I came home from the mosque
and was looking for my wife because she did not
come for the Jumat prayer.
“I was told she was in the third house, so I went
there and met her in front of the TV with
residents of that house despite the fact that I
bought TV in all our rooms.
“I queried her for preferring TV to mosque and
ordered her to follow me home. She refused and
as I was trying to drag her from the room, her
wrapper dropped and behold my wife was neither
wearing a pant nor a brassier.
“The residents in the room saw my wife’s
n*kedness live and direct and were making jest
of us. I was embarrassed and ashamed .”
The petitioner also accused his wife who was
absent from court of being fetish.
“Of recent, I noticed that my wife always lock
her room and keep the key to herself whenever
she wants to take her bath or do anything within
the premises.“One day, she went to buy
something and locked her room as usual. I
searched for the duplicate key because I was
curious and opened the door.
“I sighted a paper in which a long incantation
was written on and my name was mentioned… I
took the paper to show her family members ,”
he said.
The Court President, Adegboyega Omilola, in his
judgment said that it was obvious from available
testimony and the respondent’s refusal to
appear in court that the marriage had “hit the
rock”.“Throughout the duration of this case, the
respondent refused to honor court processes.
Therefore, the court has no other choice than to
dissolve the marriage.
“The marriage between, Minkail Abdul-Hammed
and Titilayo Abdul-Hammed is hereby dissolved.
“Both parties are no longer husband and wife;
they are free to marry any partner of their choice
without any hindrances and molestation,” he
said.

Nairaland / General / No Big Deal Stepping On Judges’ Toes In Fight Against Corruption’ by seedorffits(m): 5:21pm On Oct 12, 2016
Says Govt has right to search anybody,
anywhere, anytimeFEC okays N700 million for
Federal secretariats in six statesThe Minister of
Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammedon
Wednesdaysaid there was nothing wrong in
stepping on judges’ toes in the fight against
corruption.
It would be recalled that the Department of
State Services (DSS) had last weekendstormed
the houses of some judges, arrested them and
recovered the huge sum of money in different
denominations.
But briefing State House correspondentsat the
end of Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting
presided by President Mohammadu Buhari,
Mohammed said that there was nothing wrong
with the method adopted by the DSS.
Mohammed was accompanied by the Ministers
of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde
Fashola and Minister of Statefor Aviation, Hadi
Sirika.
While stressing that governors who
haveimmunity are still open to investigation, he
said that judges don’t even have immunity.
He said: “What the government is concerned and
passionate about is to fight corruption. In the
process of fighting corruption, it is not unusual
that you step on some very sensitive toes butthe
question to ask and I think these hasbeen
adequately answered by the Attorney General is
that let’s remove emotion from facts.“One, do
judges have immunity?
The answer is no. Can judges be arrested? The
answer is yes. Have judges that are serving
been arrested in Nigeria? The answer is yes.
Justice Okoli had been arrested and tried.“Now
the next question to ask is what is the proper
procedure for arresting anybody including
judges? There must be properly executing of the
search warrant. Was such presented? The
answer again is yes. People have tried tomuddle
the facts about when do you search the person’s
house, the truth of the matter is that under the
new criminal justice law, you can search
anybody, anywhere, anytime.“Again they have
tried to muddle issues by trying to say that the
NJC is the only authority that can attend
complain and discipline, the answer once again
is no,” he added. He pointed out that there is a
difference between what is happening to the
judges now and when a judge is accused of
professional misconduct.
“If you suspect anybody including Governors
who have immunity they are still subject to
investigations.” He saidThe government, he said,
has the highest respect for the judiciary and
does not intend to ridicule the judiciary.“We are
not painting the whole of the judges with the
same brush but we also have a duty to fight
corruption at whatever level and in doing so, we
will doso within the ambit of the law.” He
saidThe Minister expressed displeasure that
some people have started raising issues that are
completely irrelevant to the matter.
He said: “Some people are saying oh, thereason
why they went to some particular judges house
is because the President wants somebody from
one part of the country to be Chief Justice of
Nigeria.
I think that is preposterous.“I want to assure
you that this government has no intention to
humiliate the judiciary and for those whoare
talking about separation of power, I think you
are stretching it too far. I and members of the
Executive, I can be invited by any arm of the
government and I will go. So I think we should
situatethis thing in the right perspective.” He
addedHe recalled when 22 out of 32 judges in
Ghana, who were caught on tape by journalists
asking for a bribe, were dismissed in 2015.
He added: “Yes it’s true that what is happening
today has probably never happened at this level
before but frankly speaking and with all due
respect we do not intend to humiliate any judge,
we have no intention to humiliate the judiciary
but believe me what we have done we have
done within the ambits of the law.“I think the
Federal Government is being very careful with
handling of this particular issue, I want to state
clearly that this government believes very
muchin separation of powers, this
governmenthas a lot of respect for the judiciary
and for obvious reasons, not just because the
constitution says so but I think probably this is
one cabinet that has the highest number of
lawyers as ministers.“As at the last count about
eleven or twelve council members are lawyers
and we have female lawyers also in the cabinet
until death robbed us of late Ocholi we had five
SANs in our cabinet and I think this is unique,
therefore you can understand the kind of respect
we have for the judiciary.
”He also pointed out that the President himself,
who sought to be President four times and had
it thwarted three times, took his case to court
on the three occasions.
“He took his case to the judiciary, so I can say
clearly that this administration has a lot of
respect for the judiciary and Ithink I stand by
what Mallam Garba Shehu said that please do
not confuse the fight against corruption as a
fight against judiciary,” he addedFashola
disclosed that the FEC approvedN700 million for
the completion of abandoned Federal
secretariats in Anambra, Bayelsa, Gombe,
Nasarawa, Osun and Zamfara states.
According to him, the fund for the completion of
the secretariat projects, which were abandoned
since 2012, werecaptured in the 2016 budget.He
said when completed, the projects would provide
office accommodation to Federal Government
staff deployed to the affected states.
“They are at various stages of completion.
There have been changes in cost as a result of
project designs, amendment, cases where
original location and contract are changed and
they have to be redesigned in such structure,’’
he saidHe said that the second memo
approvedby FEC from the ministry has to do with
ongoing projects for the construction of the
abandoned 10 megawatts Wind Farmpower
project in Katsina state.According to him, the
wind farm project is part of government’s
strategic plan for renewable energy.
He added that the project was a major
component of the government’s road map
towards achieving incremental power in the
country.
Fashola noted that the contract cost of the
power project escalated following the kidnapping
of the contractor, who after being rescued
abandoned the project.Sirika said that the
council approved an outline Business case for
Industrial Port Development in Badagry, Lagos
State.
According to him, the Council also approved the
relocation of flight training simulator from Lagos
to Nigerian Collegeof Aviation Technology
(NCAT), Zaria in Kaduna state, for the training of
pilots and engineers. morei

Nairaland / General / Governor Ortom Recorvers Deadly Weapons From PDP Youths In Benue (see Photos) by seedorffits(m): 1:54pm On Oct 12, 2016
Governor Samuel Ortom yesterday responded to
statements credited to former Governor of the
state, Gabriel Suswam who had earlier accused
the present administration of fueling insecurity
and the arrest of his loyalists among other
accusations. Below is Governor Ortom's
response:
"The previous administration armed youths for
the
2015 elections. Since we came in, what we have
been doing is to try to change these youths by
convincing them to bring those weapons which
they did during the carrot approach of our
amnesty programme. I hope that the former
governor sees what is happening here - the
number of weapons that have been received.
When we say that over 600 of those weapons
were received from the youths, some people
were
doubting but today, the media are here and can
see things for themselves. Let the former
governor come and see. He created insecurity
but
I am here to restore security by the grace of
God.
The Bible says the thief cometh not but to steal
and destroy; but the son of God cometh to give
life.
I have come to give life to Benue people not to
kill, not to steal or to destroy. I challenge him;
we
did not use violence in winning the election last
year so we will not be distracted. But it is said
that silence is consent, so we are bound to reply
him when he talks about these things.
All the challenges that are here today were
anchored by him. He is the first governor of the
state ever to be arraigned before a court of
competent jurisdiction on fraud charges. So he
should go and face his fraud charges instead of
talking about his men being arrested everyday.
Everyone arrested by security agencies is for one
case or the other and the records are there -
those who are in prison, those who are in
detention. He can verify with security agencies.
No one under my watch as Governor of Benue
State has ever been arrested arbitrarily. How can
we allow criminals to be terrorizing the people,
to
be killing people, to be kidnapping people, to be
molesting people?
As I have said before, I will not surrender Benue
to criminals."

Nairaland / General / Two Sisters Possessed By 'african Demons' Locked In Shed To 'cure' Them (photos) by seedorffits(m): 1:32pm On Oct 12, 2016
Two sisters, believed to be possessed by
demons, are kept under covers and locked up in
a dirty shed as their family attempt to'cure'
them .Both girls claim they can see a spectre of
awoman of African descent entering their house
every morning at around 3am.According to the
parents, the girls shout:"There she is, there she
is," before hitting out at the walls and screaming
loudly.
As a result, the two sisters, aged 23 and 18, are
allegedly kept in a small shed with a mattress
and a table with a Holy Cross on it.
A cat is also said to be kept inside the shed,
locked in a cage after it attacked other family
members.
The girls sit on threadbare mattresses stuffed
with rue leaves, which are meant toward off evil
spirits.
Their father , who sells bananas to earn money,
often brings priests and other 'healers' to visit
his daughters in an attempt to exorcise them,
but so far, nothing has worked.
Neighbours believe the girls are victims of a
spell, or have used a Ouija board in the past.
Theologian Luis Riea Jimenez said:"According to
what they say they see there is a spiritual entity
that is disturbing and changing his personality.
They have been affected in their psyche."You
could say they are being manipulatedand
therefore try to attack. Schizophrenia is the
scientific term for what the Bible calls 'spirit
possession'.

Nairaland / General / Breaking: SSS Releases All The Detained Judges by seedorffits(m): 11:35am On Oct 11, 2016
The State Security Service has released all
the judges arrested during a nationwide
sweep between Friday and Saturday,
PREMIUM TIMES can report.
Sources in the agency said all the seven
judges were released on self-recognition.
“They were all released on bail yesterday
(Sunday) on self recognition,” one of our
sources said.
“They reported this morning (Monday) and
they have all gone back home. They will be
coming back tomorrow. And everything
went very procedurally well and civil.
“They were released on bail on self
recognition based on the fact that given
their standing in the society, they cannot
run away. They were instructed that they
should come back today by 10am.
“They did report for investigation this
morning and they have gone back home.
And the investigation continues and
preparation to charge them to court
continued.”
The source added, “Also, action was sequel
to lack of cooperation by National Judicial
Council. Such as refusal by the NJC to
allow the affected persons to be questioned
by the DSS. Investigation started some
seven months ago, precisely in April 2016.”
The crackdown has continued to generate
mixed reactions across the country.

Nairaland / General / Photo: ‘mad’ Woman Arrested With 25 SIM Cards, Two ATM Cards by seedorffits(m): 10:39am On Oct 11, 2016
Twenty five SIM cards, two Automated Teller
Machine (ATM) cards, different bank tellers and
a working mobile telephone were yesterday
recovered from a supposedly mad woman,
pictured below, at Oshodi bus stop, Lagos
State. The woman, it was learnt, has been living
at the spot in the last two years.
The items were discovered when the officials of
the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC), who
wanted to use the place, tried to evacuate her.
An NRC official, who spoke on condition of
anonymity to NewTelegraph, said the discovery
of the SIM cards, ATM cards andbank tellers
came to them as a surprise. He said:“The
woman has being living at the spot for some
time now.
Recently, a canteen was built close to the spot
where she is sitting, but some people
whopatronise the canteen always complain
about the presence of the woman. To our
surprise, when we were about to evacuate her
from the spot, about25 SIM cards, two ATM
cards, different bank tellers and a phone were
recovered from her. We don’t want another
incident similar to that of Clifford Orji where
human parts were recovered.
We suspect the woman has someone she is
working for. We are going to hand her over to
the task force because we don’t want to take
chances.
The woman was behaving normally when we
moved close to her, but suddenly she started
putting upa strange behaviour and pretending to
be alunatic. We don’t see her to be what she is
claiming.
”A trader, who identified herself simply as
Rebecca, told NewTelegraph that she did not
believe the woman was a lunatic.“She used to
come to my shop to buy detergent to wash her
clothes and to bathe.
I was surprised when she started behaving
strangely now.Whenever she comes to buy from
me, she always comes with crisp N500 notes.
“There was a day I closed late, I saw someone
who parked beside the road and was discussing
with the woman. But I did not hear what they
were saying.Out of curiosity, I went to her the
following day to ask her who the person was.
She said those who come to visit her were her
family members. Government should clear
lunatics from Oshodi and its environs,” shesaid.
Another trader, who did not want her namein
print, said the woman never begged for alms
from passers-by.
She said:“We also want the police to beam their
searchlight on that angle, because she was not
soliciting alms from people.
They should ask her where she is getting the
money she is spending from, because we don’t
want to lose our children in the market.”

Nairaland / General / “7 Unreal Factors That Often Cause Delay In Marriage” – Especially With Ladies by seedorffits(m): 10:26am On Oct 11, 2016
7 Unreal Factors That Can Cause Delay In
Marriage, Especially With Ladies (Even In
This Recession)
I stumbled upon a thread by one young ‘lad’-
y who emphatically professed how she was
gonna cheat on his hubby for looking chubby.
Wow!
I ran into another where some guys were
giving lectures as to what they desire in their
wife-to-be.
Even the marriages in my church has reduced
sef. Marriage counselling hasn’t stopped
counselling because the cash isn’t really
there; Trad Wedd: Jan. 24th, White Wedd
tentative date: May 11th, Haba!
As Solomon, I looked carefully and I observed
keenly, the problem is rather internal than
external. Things have changed and our
singles aren’t aware! At a Certain Age, your
REQUIREMENT LIST of the spouse you want
has to be cut down else you’ll be deluding
yourself.
Once a met a lady 30+, who said, “I really
think some things I expect from my future
hubby are non-existent, to be sincere. I must
accept that.”
Below are 7 of them- As a guy, this Epistle
will go to the ladies. Ladies write ya own :
1. He must be 6 feet tall.
God made some short and others tall. What
does it have to do with whom you settle
down with? Short lady, you can marry a
short guy and give birth to tall kids. Who
height even epp? Stop forming nonsense, if
he truly loves and you sense it, accept and
start something concrete. Don’t mind your
friend’s advice o. You are leaving them
behind. Once you are sure of the veracity of
his love/affection, be focused.
2. He must be earning at least 100,000k.
Some ladies here will deny they don’t care
but check their hearts. Well, do I read the
writing on the wall? Directly or…recession is
prevalent here. How much is the least? Can’t
say. If you TRULY love him, you don’t need
my sermon to put up until he gets a
breakthrough- bigger or a fresh job. I have
seen couples marry small but are financial
giants today. Stop “Alhajirising”! Kamar is a
Dam! Nemisis is a niggur! You too, work.
Build your home together. A controversial
point, I guess.
3. Childishness/Immaturity.
Okay, your friends dictate

Nairaland / General / 10 Types Of Assistant Boyfriends by seedorffits(m): 11:56am On Oct 10, 2016
There is a set of guys we popularly call
assistant boyfriends. Just like the name
suggests they are assistants to the real
boyfriends. Some people might mistake it
for a friend zoned guy but they are
different. An assistant boyfriend is the mid-
point between the real bobo and the one
who has a duplex in friend zone avenue.
The type of assistant boyfriend a guy is
and the level of smartness will determine
whether he becomes the main bobo or the
friend-zoned one.
Assistant boyfriends are important to most
ladies because they play active and
decisive roles to them and like I opined
earlier, an assistant boyfriend has a good
chance of upgrading to the main guy or
downgrading to a friend-zoning. ABF as I
will refer to it subsequently is not as good
as being the main bobo but it’s definitely
better than being in friend zone. One thing I
want us to note is that many of us have
been ABFs at different times. While some of
us have ended up as main guys some
among us also have become BOT chairmen
as friend zone corporation. For others in
multiple relationships, you might be a main
guy in one and ABF in another.
Here are the 10 types of ABFs from my
observations.
1. ABF Finance
He is the Dangote and Bill Gate rolled into
one. The real money bag so to say. He’s in
charge of all her finances. The wicked
ladies might want to refer to him as
“maga” or “mugu” but that’s unfair
because bros is only being generous.
Whenever she wants to pay her school
fees, rent a new apartment, pay her rent
that’s due or go on a shopping spree, his
name is the one that pops up in her head.
He’s the financier and caters for her
financial needs. If he’s smart enough he
might get more than the hugs and kisses
and get to visit Aso Rock Villa but you can
never tell with some guys. Dear lady are
you feeling broke? Please look for an ABF
Finance.
2. ABF Emotional Affairs
He’s in charge of emotional matters. He’s
most susceptible to ending up in a friend
zone. He’s very close to the lady and also
a confidante but that’s also his albatross.
He’s knows everything that goes up in her
relationship and acts as the chief adviser.
He also advises her on who to date and
who not to. You’ll always hear things like
“Wristbangle see David has started again o,
he’s no longer picking my calls” or
“Tosyne2much can you believe Akin used
another girl’s picture as his dp?” Or
“smellymouth do you know that cute guy in
our department? He just asked me out,
should I tell him yes? Whenever she has
issues with her bf or gets heartbroken, it’s
the work of the ABF Emotional Affairs to
provide emotional support; a shoulder to
cry on. In fact some go the extent of
having the contact of the main nigga and
act as mediators whenever there’s a
conflict. I was once in this category with a
girl but in my own case a shoulder to cry
on became a deek to ride on.
3. ABF Religious Affairs
He’s the brother in the lord. They are
mostly Bro David, Bro Samuel and Bro
Joshua. Bros sees her as the one whom
God might have chosen for him but she
sees him as just her brother in the lord. On
campus, he’s always coming to share
tracts and devotionals with her. They read
and study the bible together. They pray
together. In fact if she has problems, bros
sometimes to join her in fasting or even
fast on her behalf. But because of his
religious creed, he cannot even ask her out
straight up. They are both workers in the
fellowship and while Bro John hopes and
pray God opens her eyes to see him as her
dream husband, sister Rebecca continues
going off campus to spend the weekend
with Lalasticlal.a the main guy. At home,
they know him in her house as the brother
who comes every evening to do voice
training with sister Hannah and discuss
biblical issues with her. They know that
every Sunday morning Bro Rasaq must
come to their house to remind Sister Balqiz
that they will be going for Nasfat prayers
that morning.
4. ABF Stomach Infrastructure
Like the name suggests, he’s responsible
for stomach affairs. She remembers him
whenever she goes hungry. He’s the one
that takes her out for meals, buys her
snacks and drinks. Whenever she feels like
taking peppersoup and malt on a friday
night, his name comes into remembrance.
You’ll hear things like “and I feel like eating
Shawarma oooo. Ok let me call kinglekan” I
know many of these guys back on campus
then. They are always ready to take the
girls out to Tantalizers, Spices to take
peppersoup and sminrnoff or to eat Amala
Skye bank in Bodija with assorted meat yet
they can’t buy even one bottle of
Satzenbrau for their guys. At the end of it
all na ordinary hug u go collect as thank
you while she uses the energy given to her
buy the food you bought to ride the main
nigga to heaven.
5. ABF Repairs and Maintenance
Baba is always the one responsible for
repairs and maintenance of household
items. If you fall under this category, you
know yourself. You are always remembered
when her wall socket gets burnt, she wants
to change the bulb, her wristwatch
suddenly stops working, her laptop needs
to be reformatted, her small tiger gen is
refusing to start or her extension bo blew
off, then you fall under this category. Well
December is almost here and she wants to
repaint her room, bro go and get some of
your clothes you no longer wear, change
into them and grab the goddamn paint
container and brush abeg.
6. ABF Defence and Strategy
These ones are the defenders of the
universe both online and offline. Whenever
she posts a picture or write up on facebook
or instagram. They are there to give her
multiple likes and give her sweet
comments. If anybody tries to give a
negative comment on her, they go berserk
launching missiles, grenades and nuclear
weapons. On campus they are always there
following her about as security guards. If
the lady is the saucy type that can yab a
dead man back to life, it is the ABF
Defence and Strategy she runs to after
finnaly getting her cup full and abusing
those stronger than her father. You will
hear her running and shouting at the same
time “mrcork oooo I don abuse some mad
guys o abeg come threaten them with your
range rover”

Romance / Must Read: Letting Temptation (18+) PART 2 by seedorffits(m): 9:58am On Jul 14, 2016
Frankly speaking, I initially couldn’t
completely concentrate on the rite
before me because of the many
thoughts of Mirabel. Why I should be
having such thoughts was quite difficult
to say but all the same, I was having
them. I was particularly thrilled about
her persona. She was such an energetic
young girl and looked like one with a
fabulous future! I was just jealous in a
way for the lad she was going to get
married to. He was definitely getting a
complete woman! She was a great girl
to have around; she’s always sounded
intelligent and her manners so far had
been fantastic! Then to crown it all, she
was charming! That there, was the
complete package! I so loved fortune or
whatever it was, for bringing us to
know each other. This wasn’t the
traditional case of a mentored seeking a
mentor. No. This was rather, the mentor
seeking the mentored. I was hoping to
continue watching her development
both in the church and in her career. In
fact, while we were driving, I had asked
her a couple of things about her
religious life. I asked her the last time
she had a confession. Of course, it was
easy to lie about it even though I was
supposed to be the one she was going
to confess to anyway. But she did say
what looked like the truth when she
said she hadn’t gone for one for over 3
years already. It was a stunning truth
but one I easily understood given her
past. She had refused to share her
experience with the deacon with
anyone in church since she was worried
the deacon would be exposed. She only
told me she wasn’t a virgin anymore
because I asked her. That in itself,
showed how innocent she was. If she
had chosen to lie like most guilty spoilt
adults would do, I was probably not
going to find out. But Mirabel didn’t do
that. Innocent Mirabel told me she
wasn’t a virgin anymore!
After Mass was over I had a couple of
other meetings with certain leaders at
the Parish. Renovation work had been
going on at the old wing of the parish
building and I was regularly briefed
about any progress made. This time it
was the last meeting I was going to
have and as soon as it was over, I
returned to my office to pack up for the
night. For the past two months, I had
been doing a study on the epistles of St.
Paul and it had always kept me awake
most nights. I had to pick up some new
study materials from my office library
before eventually calling it a day. My
catechist who usually always waits
behind until I had gone, was already
waiting to carry my little luggage into
the car. He’s been a wonderful servant to
the Parish for several years and he was
even the one who recommended
Ignatius, my actual housekeeper who
was currently on leave. In Ignatius I
eventually found a very hardworking
man who despite his age was always
willing to learn. He had been with me for
over 8 years and had served so honestly.
While I may have gotten very excited by
the prospect of having Mirabel as a
handy personnel within the clergy-
house, I still knew it was going to be
difficult keeping her for so long. Ignatius
would return at some point and I would
have to welcome him back. That is what
everybody understands should happen.
That is what my catechist understands
too and as he handed me my things and
waved me good night, I also understood
who was likely going to be the first
worried man if I failed to go as he
thinks.

:
Anyways, I got a little bit uncomfortable
after I had returned to the Rectory. To
begin with, Mirabel had done an
unexpectedly brilliant job in my absence!
She had firstly made me dinner which
she had covered on the dining table.
Then she got some bathwater heated up
for me – this usually used to be a
problem for me given the time required
at times. She also gave the house a
definite touch; arranging things into
place just like it used to be when there
was a housekeeper around! I was so
pleased the moment I noticed all these
and even though I suspected she had
slept off, I told myself she was definitely
going to get a salute for already
knowing her way around in just a short
time. The concern actually only came
after I had finished having dinner and
bathed. I had also changed into my
Aaron robe (a robe I wore around at
home) and was making it through the
hallway leading to the staircase. I
wanted to catch a quick sleep upstairs in
my bedroom before waking later in the
night for my study at my little library
downstairs. Then while crossing
Mirabel’s bedroom which was also
accessed from the hallway, it occurred to
me that I was yet to see how she settled
into her new room. Of course, it used to
serve Ignatius and it was always going
to be a bit tiring putting your things
together in an already occupied room.
So I felt I had to check on her.
However, when I walked in, I met more
than I had bargained for! Mirabel was
already asleep from what I could see,
but that wasn’t the only thing I could
see! She was indeed sleeping with a
nightrobe (which I really doubted was
hers given I had seen Ignatius wear it
before) and it was barely covering her
body as it should! She was facing the
wall meaning she was going to have her
buttocks towards me and because of
the way her nightrobe hardly covered
her, her entire buttocks was exposed to
my first glance! The panty she was
wearing was seeming like the only
saving element in the encounter!
And noutright surprise, even to myself, I
cried out a quick prayer – engaging the
Sign of the Cross countless times across
my chest! I was visibly shaken and I
hurriedly shut my eyes still muttering
more prayers! I had seen the
unthinkable and needed not to see
anymore! Thus with eyes shut, I began
to trace my way towards her in a bid to
pull the nightrobe over her buttocks.
Luckily, I succeeded in locating the dress
but without mistakenly feeling up a
number of places around her buttocks
and thighs! Without wasting further
time though, I quickly pulled the
nightrobe down before opening my
eyes. And I was soon out of her
bedroom and back into the hallway. I
paused for a moment making sure I had
a clear head as well as offering more
prayers. And then as soon as I felt I had
calmed down, began to climb to my
bedroom. It was unimaginable what had
happened and no ear was going to bear
hearing it! Female nudity in a Rectory?!
Worse still, female nudity before a
priest?! It was a perfect example of an
abomination and I didn’t know how to
explain to myself how I’d got to this
point already! Even when I tried getting
into sleep, I just couldn’t do so! Diverse
thoughts crowded my head. I had to
abandon sleep. I was going back down
to resume my study.
Downstairs too, I wasn’t concentrated.
In fact, it only got worse! While I had
been asking myself how I had allowed
this to happen, this time around as I
attempted going through some of my
old written commentaries, I realized the
thoughts had totally changed. Instead of
just wondering about the possible
reasons behind the ugly occurrence,
several imaginations of what I had seen
now kept creeping into my thoughts!
The visual contact was actually very brief
and almost negligible but I found my
imaginations blowing it out of
proportion! I found my thoughts
analyzing pictures of how her panty had
gripped the fleshy skin of her buttocks
and even how the crack of her butt was
evidently outlined as a little valley at the
center of the fabric!
?
When thoughts of what could have been
if I had felt her Kittycat instead of her
nightrobe when I tried covering her,
began getting into my head, I knew real
problems had come! Because from
there, it graduated into a spree of
several crazy thoughts which hardly
allowed me concentrate on my study
anymore! At some point, I had to
temporary suspend my progress to stare
blankly into space for several minutes! I
couldn’t believe the brief seconds I spent
looking at her semi-nudity had brought
all this to me! It was the sound of the
door to the living room, that brought me
back to the present!
Then when I looked up, it was Mirabel
approaching the dinning from the living
room. Given the way the Rectory was
planned, one could see as much as a bit
of the living room, then the dinning, the
connecting lobby all the way into the
kitchen, right from the library. It was
quite a view and I guess the idea was to
give the person studying at the library a
quick access to all three spaces since
they were the likely spaces he would
always use after a study session. So as
soon as Mirabel stepped into the living
room, I easily spotted her in the
darkness there and trailed her
movement all the way to the dinning
where she picked up a cup before
walking straight to the kitchen. I
instantly knew what she came out for –
water! She was certainly the type that
woke up at night to drink water.
Anyways, while that wasn’t an issue, the
actual issue surfaced when she flicked
on the light bulb in the kitchen only to
be revealed as just wearing a bra and a
panty! That instant, I died within me! In
fact, I didn’t even know when I repeated
the Sign of the cross again and again;
uttering the early parts of the Hail Mary!

Education / Federal Ministry Of Edu Ascertains Dat Only JAMB by seedorffits(m): 1:20am On Jul 14, 2016
The Federal Ministry of Education has reiterated that the admission of candidates into tertiary institutions in the country remains the responsibility of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The Ministry equally disclosed that institutions have power only to screen candidates sent to it by JAMB in order to fish out those with anti- social traits and suspicious credentials and that no university is allowed to have anything to do with any applicant who is not its student. According to the Ministry’s Director, Press and Public Relations, Mr. Ben Bem Goong, the cancellation of post-UTME remains and screening for those admitted by JAMB is limited to only the examination of credentials and physical examination of candidates to ensure they are not cultists and this should be done upon resumption. : MORE IS HERE : More is here http://facebook.com/freshvibesblog http://facebook.com/freshvibesblog
Nairaland / General / Must Read: Letting Temptation (18+) PART 1 by seedorffits(m): 2:20pm On Jul 13, 2016
A story written by Dan Chucks… No one can accuse me of any wrong doing. After all, there was nothing wrong with what I said two weeks ago at the parish. It was the kind of things Priests like myself and Pastors were expected to do – help the needy; place poor kids on scholarship and even foot hospital bills for those who cannot afford to. So I was only toeing in that line when I asked every young teen between the ages of 18 and 21 in the church, who needed a little vacation job, to apply through Deacon Agbo. Since I would be needing someone to regularly cook, clean my house and office until Mr. Ignatius my housekeeper – who went to briefly be with his daughter that recently put to bed (he was a single parent); returned from his visit, I had to throw the ‘job’ offer open to young teenagers in the church. I felt it was a good way of assisting one of them and helping him understand he could earn benefits if he works hard. I was going to pay whoever it finally turned out to be on a weekly basis and he was going to use the guest bedroom downstairs, at the Rectory where I lived – at least, until his services weren’t needed anymore. The only requirements was that he had to have the fear of god and the diligence to do the little chores he would be required to do, such as cooking and cleaning. And of course, it had to be a male, for obvious reasons. She was the only girl who applied for the position among over 25 applications Deacon Agbo received and Mirabel which she told me her name was, was equally the youngest! She was exactly 18 years and 2 weeks old. And was getting set to write her entrance matriculation examination into the University. She was so young and innocent that she felt not even a tad of embarrassment or shame telling me, during my interview with her, that she wasn’t a virgin anymore! That was after I had asked her if she was already a member of the ‘Daughters of Trichet’ – our parish society for young virgin girls who are dedicated to giving alms and showing mercy to the community. It shocked me quite significantly, as to how she could so easily reveal that to me. But it also explained in a very glaring way, that she was still very innocent and naive. Of course, I already had my rules and it included that I wasn’t going to consider any other persons outside the ‘male and destitute’ bracket. But the later, was why I even had to invite her for an interview. Part of the application requirement was to explain to the deacon why you needed the ‘vacation job’ and the deacon explained to me that she said her parents won’t be able to pay for her coming exams; so she had to apply. That was what attracted the sympathy. And she was seating with me at my office Monday morning. During our two-hour-plus chat, I got to know more about Mirabel. While she was still very young and probably gullible, I could still attribute some of her personal challenges to her parents. Most especially, her mother. While we spoke, she explained how her poor mum would leave home for several days in search of willing potential clients she could do menial jobs for. Her dad was a paralytic and had been retrenched out of a job since Mirabel was 10. She had to grow up mostly without the close attention of her mum and with little or no attention from her sick father either. She struggled through Secondary school and had to finish two years older than usual. I had to blame her mum for the avoidable problems because Mirabel told me that her mum’s younger sister who had recently secured a Federal job began offering her the old shop where she used to sell female shoes, knowing she wasn’t going to be continuing with the business. But her mum refused the free offer, out of sheer ego – she wasn’t comfortable continuing with a business her younger sister had ‘just left’. Her ego apparently put them through very difficult times and it seriously affected Mirabel’s growing up. She was disvirgined by a late Deacon who I happen to know very well. And that was after her parents had to hand her over to him for care when they couldn’t just feed her and the little brother anymore. The seeming absence of a mother’s attention was telling on her. Even the way she sat in my office that morning (she couldn’t sit with your legs pressed together for once), showed she missed a thing or two in the ‘how to be a girl’ grooming classes. ? Even though Mirabel was from a very poor home and needed the job more than anyone else, I wasn’t sure that was the likely reason I began to consider her for the role. Or maybe it was, but not the major reason at all. I had to later suspect, it was probably because she was outlandishly beautiful! I already know how that feels hearing that from a priest, but I have to come out and say it. I was by every inclination touched by the radiating beauty of the young innocent Mirabel! ? The way she packed her hair that morning was worthy of note and it easily fit her finely cut face! Her eyes were like glaring light bulbs and never stopped looking excited, while the perfect combination of her ridged nose and pouty lips never ceased appealing to me at every moment she smiled. The fact that she was always laughing or spotting a grin, was what particularly caught my charm! Of course, I was a priest and under celibacy. I don’t want to say I am a virgin but I am, technically – since I hadn’t touched a woman since after I took my Vow of Chastity. I can equally add, in a whisper though, that I had a normal childhood and did what other kids did. I had a few crushes and saw a few nudies before teenage-hood was over. I basically dropped most of these habits though, except for masturbation which I carried into the Seminary. ‘Fortunately’ it was something that was quite common within the walls of the institution so I hardly found it difficult getting on with it until I eventually stopped it about 14 years ago. That said, it does look clear that all those were likely done out of youthful stupidity and I always thought I wouldn’t ever go back into them again – most especially, masturbation. After all, I was a 42 year old man now and it had been like a millennium since I got involved with any carnal lusting of the soul! I couldn’t be so hurriedly pictured as being lustfully driven already for simply admitting that a young good- looking girl like Mirabel was beautiful. While it was always going to be questionable for a female to share an empty house with a male priest, I had to think the fact she was in need, ‘might’ outweigh the question mark over the decision. She had looked like a well mannered and amiable girl during the interview, and I was moved to bring her home; even if I was obviously, letting temptation! ************************** Mirabel moved into my Rectory, Tuesday Evening. It looked like none of us had the desire to spend further time before doing so. I sincerely was eager to assist her and even wondered how the parish hadn’t leant about herself and her family before now. Probably, the parents weren’t interested in approaching any other deacons after the kind of treatment they got from the previous deacon – that is, if the parents were aware of what he did to her. The deacon was likely rotting in hell, given what he had done to such a poor humble kid. He had an opportunity to help just like I had gotten and yet he spurned it. I was already making the most of mine. I had decided to add an additional N2,ooo to the initial N5,ooo I had budgeted weekly for the vacancy, just to make sure she saves enough for herself. I was placing her with some extra-classes where she would be brushed up ahead of her exam. I had also taken it upon myself to pay for the entrance exam separately as well as foot her first two tertiary tuition fees when she eventually secures admission into school. You needed to see how overjoyed she was! She laughed and laughed displaying her finely arranged immaculate set of teeth! She even almost embraced me if not for the large office table between us! For the first time in my life, I felt like I had a daughter and got immense satisfaction seeing her gladden up for what I had promised to do for her! However, as I drove her to her temporary home, something deep inside of me, kept insisting that I was doing all those for the wrong reasons. Of course, I didn’t waste any time in pushing such thoughts away, with a very quick Sign of the Cross! As Mirabel moved in her bags, I got to know how much property she actually had, for the first time. She basically had so little and I had to wonder how the clothes she had with her could take her through the 3 months she was going to stay in the Rectory. I could only see a small sling bag which I suspected contained her very few shoes. And two Nylon bags which I could see held her cloths! There were no books, toiletries and stuffs like that, let alone a jewelry box! She was almost without anything! I had to wonder where I would begin helping from in that area. I had no knowledge of female clothing and I was scared giving her money to buy cloths herself might be poor judgment. She was such an unprivileged child. And how I was happy to assist her every difficulty. She didn’t even ever seem to have any problems in the world! I think that was what I loved most about her – she was always cheerful and happy! She was slightly a talkative and that made her an immensely enjoyable person! Just within the few hours I have got to know her, she had already told me more than a textbook worth of details about herself and her family! She also told me how she had announced the new ‘vacation job’ she got to her parents and how they felt so relieved. I now knew they were planning to come to my office on a thank you visit sometime next week. Of course, I tried discouraging that as I wasn’t interested in receiving any gratifications for what I was doing for them. But that didn’t deter Mirabel from continuing with her many revelations! She made the very short journey to my Rectory very enjoyable! And even as I showed her around the house, she openly displayed a soothing acceptance for her new but temporary home. Unfortunately, I had very few minutes more before the Evening Mass and was already almost running out of time. I had to hand her over the key since there was no way she could attend Mass after just arriving. She needed the time, to make herself comfortable.
